Spend long, lazy days on the extensive roof terrace, a glorious sun trap, with some shade in the afternoon, when you just want peace and quiet. Morning coffee is so relaxing out here too. It is a very tranquil spot with stunning views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The town itself provides all the facilities you would expect of a bustling holiday destination, but within a five minute drive you can be out in the forest enjoying some of the best walking the country has to offer. Or, why not leave the car behind and take the open top bus tour which starts right outside the apartment, you can hop on and off all day and visit places such as Beaulieu (the motor museum and Abbey), Burley or Brockenhurst. Wildlife galore and dappled shade on hot summer days.
The best beaches can be found at Keyhaven and Milford on Sea, or try Mudeford quay for authentic fishing atmosphere - and food. If you want to venture further, try the magnificent Hengistbury Head, the beach here stretches for miles and links up to Southbourne and Bournemouth. Ideal if you want a flat cycle trip.
