Description

Located in a stunning Area of Outstanding Beauty, situated on the cliffs at Mullion Cove, Greenshank offers you the ideal bolthole to escape from the stresses of life. Only a stone’s throw from the South West Coastal Path, the Atlantic coast and Mullion Cove Harbour, those who enjoy walking the cliffs or simply taking in the spectacular wildness of the countryside and coastal views will love it (but then coming from Mullion I’m biased!!). Mullion Harbour, which can be viewed from the large field onsite and BBQ area, is a short walk down the hill from Greenshank and offers a little pebble beach, a seasonal cafe and a historic harbour. Heading southwards by foot on the National Trust SW coastal path, or a short few miles by road, you’ll reach spectacular Kynance Cove and Lizard Point. Enjoy a famous Anne’s pasty, fish and chips or ice cream in the village, or a panoramic cup of tea at Lizard Point. Walking northwards from Greenshank brings you to sandy Polurrian beach and onto Poldhu beach, passing the historic Marconi monument on the way. Mullion village offers limited facilities including a Co-op and two pubs, with Mullion Cove and Polurrian Hotels offering great food, drink and spa facilities (contact hotels directly). Further afield, attractions include Poldark/mining and Flambards attractions, Gweek seal sanctuary and St. Michael’s Mount near Lands End. For the adventurous, Lizard Adventures offer kayaking around the local coastline. Greenshank itself sits on a small complex of 12 independently owned linked properties, approximately half of which are rented out for holiday Guests. Greenshank offers a light and airy open plan living space, which benefits from a modern fitted contemporary kitchen and cosy lounge area, providing a lovely space to relax and watch the smart TV with WiFi. The dining area seats four in the functional kitchen area. You will find everything you might need for your self catering holiday, including electric oven/ hob /microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Laundry facilities are available in a shared laundry room onsite. Additionally, this delightful property has two comfy bedrooms, one double and one twin, with a shower room complete with small shower cubicle & WC. Hairdryer and hoover available. The sunny enclosed deck area with garden furniture leads to the large communal lawned field, boasting fantastic coastal views. There is off-road parking available for one car behind the property (suggest reverse in to park).
This is a NON-SMOKING accommodation.
