Dreamcatcher is a charming, detached one bedroom barn conversion in a secluded location on an old farm (not a working farm). Reached down an unmade farm lane, which is sometimes a bit bumpy, It has its own enclosed private garden which is well screened by a high hedge, and an open aspect at the back overlooking the beautiful pond and sunken garden. This location is mainly for adults but babes in arms and children 8 years and over are welcome. Birdwatchers will enjoy the variety of birds on our feeder in the cottage garden, hearing the owls and watching the swallows swoop over the pond. Nature lovers and walkers have the whole of Dartmoor National Park nearby, with some terrific off road cycling routes, such as The Granite Way and The Tarka Trail for those who may like to bring their bikes with them.

Very well behaved dogs are welcome at £25 each but please read the terms on our website before booking.

The usual changeover day is Saturday. Out-of-season short breaks are available and changeover can usually be any day of the week.

Dreamcatcher has underfloor heating as well as a woodburner and is ideal for Autumn, Winter and Spring short breaks in Devon. The cottage is presented and equipped to a high standard with free WiFi throughout.

KITCHEN: The hand-made kitchen has granite worksurfaces, a range cooker (gas hob and 2 electric ovens), microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and undercounter fridge with small 4* freezer compartment. Cleaning products are provided including dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid etc. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. Although the cottage is for 2 people, there is sufficient seating at the table for 4 people if you wish to have friends to lunch.

LOUNGE: The kitchen and lounge are open plan, partly divided by a brick and wood partition. There is a large sofa and a leather arm chair in the lounge. The TV is a 43" Panasonic LCD Freesat TV with a CD/DVD player.

SHOWER ROOM: A shower you can get wet in! The large shower cubicle has a power shower. We supply bath and hand towels (1 each per person). Please bring your own beach towels.

BEDROOM: The 6ft Superking size bed has a memory foam mattress topper. People tell us they get a terrific nights sleep! . If you would like single beds then we can make the bed up as two 3ft singles. We supply lots of coat hangers in the wardrobe and there is extra hanging space in a cupboard on the mezzanine.
In the bedroom is an IPod dock/radio so that you can bring your favourite music with you.

On the upstairs snug you will find a day bed tucked under the eaves, along with some yoga mats, traditional board games and lots of books. The 4ft futon sofa can be made up as a bed if required.

OUTSIDE: in the private front garden, you will find garden furniture and a barbeque. The garden is fully enclosed with hedging and shrubs (fencing behind this) and 99.9% pet escape proof.

PARKING: The parking for Dreamcatcher is just outside the back door.

The main living accommodation for this cottage is on the ground floor, which is all on one level, therefore it may be suitable for those with limited mobility. There is a full accessibility statement on our website.

Whilst you are enjoying your holiday, you may wish to complete your rest and relaxation with a massage from our visiting therapist. These are very reasonably priced for an hours treatment and include Indian Head Massage, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy massage and facials. Enquire when booking.

Cleanest Property we have ever stayed in!

By Dawne on 01-Dec-2019

We are delighted to write a review for Dreamcatcher. It is the cleanest property we have ever stayed in (and we’re fussy!) Delightful comforts welcomed us - a home baked Victoria sponge and a lovely bottle of Italian red .... (it’s as if Nicky had already met us!) Dreamcatcher is a lovely relaxing converted barn outbuilding, with luxurious underfloor heating and everything you could possibly wish for. A welcoming log burner with extra logs on site to buy if required. Nicky was a welcoming and warm host and we would highly recommend Dreamcatcher to all (except when we’d like to stay again!)

Absolutely Fantastic. Highly Recommend

By Newbury on 08-Sep-2019

Dreamcatcher is a beautiful retreat, set in amazing countryside. Nicky made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage still retains its character and has everything that you could possibly need. We spent hours watching endless species of birds in the garden. We absolutely loved it. Tia our Rottie had some lovely walks., and had her own welcome pack whilst we enjoyed Nickys mums Victoria sponge and the bottle of wine! Can't wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at this cottage, very well equipped and cottage is very clean. lots to do and see in the Dartmoor National Park and plenty of pubs not to far away that do some lovely food. ... Would certainly come back again in the future as Nicky is a great host, made us very welcome on our arrival and was always available if we ever needed her.

A Top Property

By Graham & Alison on 26-Jul-2019

For the past 10 years we have visited the UK each year to catch up with family living in London and spend 2/3 weeks in a part of the UK staying in a cottage to relax and visit the local attractions. This is a cottage that we would come back to. Well appointed, comfortable, quiet, and plenty to do and see within the district. Friendly and accommodating owners.

Beautiful Place!

By Charlie on 21-Jun-2019

I stayed here for a long weekend when visiting a family member in Lydford. We absolutely loved the Dreamcatcher cottage! It had everything we needed and more, it was so beautiful, the bed was so comfortable, and the owner made sure there were essentials like tea and milk when we arrived. Would happily stay again!

Gem of a Cottage in Devon

By DustBunny 1 (Carolyn Cronk) on 21-Jun-2019

Devon is a spectacular region of England and Dreamcatcher cottage at Webber Hill Farm Cottages is the perfect place to stay. The adorable cottage is immaculate and has every amenity one could wish for. The location is ideal for day trips to sights in both Devon and Cornwall. Nicky is a superb host with suggestions for destinations and restaurants nearby. I stayed a week and wished I could stay longer!

I didn't want to leave!

By Cosmopolitan699413 (Shirley Spencer) on 16-May-2019

Everything was perfect! The day you arrive, there is homemade sponge cake and a bottle of wine waiting for you. The cottage is warm and cozy and is no more than an hour away to all the amazing sites in Cornwall and Devon. Our hosts, Nicky and Trevor, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I could literally live there and be happy the rest of my life. Nicky...is that an option???
