In the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside, and yet within easy driving distance of the coast in every direction, Archer's Cottage is a quiet and romantic two-bedroom barn conversion, offering luxury self-catering accommodation for two, with the opportunity to sleep separately, should you so require.

The cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Upon arrival, whatever the season, our guests are welcomed with a basket containing all the essentials for a refreshing cuppa after a long journey, and various other items to get your holiday off to a good start.

Archers Cottage, was converted some years ago, and has recently been updated to provide all of the modern facilities which one expects today. The main decor is done in pastel shades, which help to create a warm and welcoming ambience.

On the ground floor, there is a cosy lounge with a woodburning stove for those chilly afternoons and evenings. The good size, country style kitchen/dining area, has everything that you might need, and is finished with oak worktops, tiled floor, and a Belfast sink.

Also, located on the ground floor is the second bedroom which offers a double bed, together with wardrobe and storage space.

The stairs lead up from the lounge to the comfortable master bedroom with balcony off, from where if you are lucky, you can watch a meteor shower or the odd shooting star in our wonderful unpolluted night sky. Alternatively why not enjoy an early breakfast as the sun rises ahead of you over Bletherston Hill.

The Cottage enjoys an unusually peaceful and quiet location in the grounds of the owners home, which is close enough should you need assistance, but far enough away not to be intrusive. There is plenty of parking and complimentary WiFi, although please note that speeds are only suitable for browsing and emails

Please Note: Archer's Cottage is a non-smoking establishment.

Sorry, NO pets allowed (Assistance dogs accepted).

MAXIMUM 2 guests, sorry no children under 12 years of age.

The owners were very helpful and informative and nothing was too much trouble. Pembrokeshire is a beautiful place and we did some scenic walking along the coast path.

“We had a brilliant time staying at Archers cottage!”

By Mr Ahmed on 30-Nov-2019

After getting married the day before, things were delaying us from arriving however having the owners live next to the property was very useful as they made us feel In no rush to not arrive too late. Saying that, dont let it put you off as the owners gave us as much privacy as possible, at the same time ensured we had everything and recommended nearby beaches, shops and attractions. I really didnt want to leave the cottage! Seeing thousands of bright stars and shooting stars in the night due to the low light pollution was priceless in itself. Then waking up and enjoying a nice refreshing coffee outside in the garden with quite relaxing views! We are planning to visit again soon! Very romantic and relaxing getaway. Couldn't recommend more!!! Thank you Paul & Judi.

“A wonderful little hideaway”

By FlossieG65 on 26-Oct-2019

If you want a peaceful hideaway for totally relaxing break, this is it. Immaculate throughout and beautifully decorated and equipped with all you need. Tucked away in the heart of Pembrokeshire but close to stunning coastline and some very interesting historic sites. It was also magical to lie in bed and stare up at the stars thanks to the roof window and the lack of light pollution! Our host was knowledgeable and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

“Archer's cottage is in a very quiet area, surrounded by trees and fields.”

By Mr Strudwick on 31-Aug-2019

But not too far from the Preselli hills, the beautiful coast and towns. The cottage is really well equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable and easy. It was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is fantastic and the bed so comfy. Paul, the owner, lives next door and can give lots of advice on where to go.

“The cottage is beautifully presented and equipped with everything you might need.”

By Ms Flynn on 24-Aug-2019

The bed in the main room (the only one we used) is exceptionally comfortable with a good selection of pillows. We loved the remoteness and the wonderful quiet, even if it took a while to get used to no mobile signal and Wi-fi that pretty much only allowed for emails - though to be honest there were plenty of other things to do! Paul and Judi were friendly and warm, offering helpful hints re days out and always near if we needed anything. A welcome basket added a personal touch. This was a super place to stay, kept so by really lovely people. Totally recommended for couples or just two people wanting a little escape from it all.
