Welcome to a peaceful corner of the world - Polperro. An authentic fishing harbour village where you can watch the boats and the world go by.
Harbourside is a quaint and cosy two bedroom cottage (ideal for couples, small families, or up to four adults) perched on the edge of a picturesque quayside, with breathtaking views of the yachts and fishing boats moored in the inner harbour. The outer harbour and small beach are just a few steps away, as are the South West Coast Path, and the small jetty from which boat trips can be taken to neighbouring towns or out to sea.
After visiting Polperro for many years, I quickly fell in love with it - this village will not fail to charm you with its narrow streets, fascinating art galleries, shops, inviting restaurants and pubs, and the delightful harbour around which everything is centred.
The cottage is perfectly located, and has charm, views, a little bit of outside space, and bags of character and comfort.
The cottage comes with a dedicated free parking space five minutes walk from the property.
The cottage is rated at 4 stars by VisitEngland.com.

We had a lovely stay early October. 2019. Didn't leave the village. So many things to see and do. Wonderful walks. We managed to have a few times that we were able to sit on the balcony, in between showers. Watching the world go by. Being so close to the Blue Peter Inn, we had lots of lovely meals there. Entertainment too lovely.
The cottage cosy and comfortable. Everything you need for your stay. Comfy beds too. A very warm atmosphere to the cottage. Lots of things to see from the amazing windows. Ideal for painting and drawing.
I think the only thing I could complain about...was our holiday wasn't long enough to enjoy the lovely cottage and village more. So much more to see. We will be back.
A place you never want to leave!

Just the most perfect setting, in the most gorgeous village. Great pubs and shops on the doorstep. We have already booked to go again later in the year!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in the Harbourside cottage and found it cosy with a capital C. There's a number of excellent pubs within easy walking or falling out distance from the cottage that have a good selection of tasty well cooked food. The cottage facilities are good quality and had no problems at all. A dedicated parking space was also provided with the cottage that was just a short walk away. Can't wait to go back and would book Harbourside again. Did I mention, it was AWESOME?

well what a find .... beautiful location, right on the harbour, next to the Blue Peter Pub and the Three Pilchards behind us. The cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished, nothing to fault apart from the bathroom is a little bit dated. The car parking is a pain, you have to park in the main car park at the top of the village (£8.50 for 24 hours) and walk down, but you can always drive down with your luggage drop it off and then go back to the car park afterwards. We found so much to do we didn't leave the village for our stay. Plenty of walks, little shops and pubs to visit (with very good pub grub). Highly recommend for Christmas, apparently its really buzzing in December.

The cottage was everything we hoped for and more, lovely and clean with everything you need for a cosy break. Loved the fact the main bedroom and living area are upstairs, you get a beautiful view of the harbour without anyone walking past looking in! Slept with the curtains open (in a very comfty bed) because you want to saviour every moment. Heating was no problem, in fact we left it off some days to get full use of the lovely fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need with good quality glasses and crockery which was nice. The pub next door is friendly and the beer and food amazing, ( you dont get any noise from the pub in your cottage). Just what the doctor ordered, hope we get another chance to return in the future, my 3rd visit to Polperro and I wouldnt stay anywhere else, out of season this place is pure heaven. Thank you
Fabulous little cottage in great location

We booked this cottage for our 1st wedding anniversary, having stayed in Looe for our honeymoon. It's a cosy little place with gorgeous window seats and real fire, which we lit every night with logs from the general store. The Blue Peter Inn is a couple of steps from the front door and is the best pub around for food, beer and atmosphere. The cottage itself has a well equipped kitchen which was put to good use and the Christmas tree was a lovely festive touch.
Perfect Week In a Lovely Location

A lovely cosy cottage in the perfect location on the edge of the harbour, with gorgeous harbour views out of every window, and a balcony perfect for watching the yachts and fishing boats come and go with a glass of wine or two. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday.
Polperro is a picturesque village, with plenty of delightful little shops, galleries, restaurants, and pubs (including the best pub in Cornwall, the Blue Peter). There are stunning views on the headland walks around Polperro, and you can take boat trips from the harbour wall to some of the neighbouring towns and villages.
I would recommend this cottage to my friends, and I will be coming back.
Best spot in Polperro
By COR66 on 12-Jun-2015
We stayed in this cottage for a week at the end of May. I think it's in one of the best spots in this lovely fishing village as its right on the harbour. The cottage is well equipped, clean & has been decorated lovely. The owners also had put out a bottle of wine for when arrived.
There is a great view of Polperro from every room.
The allocated parking space is about 5 minute walk from the cottage which is easy to walk from the car to Harbourside as all down hill, not so much back to car! Its didn't really bother us as we walked everywhere, took boat trips & went into Looe on the bus which was quick & easy. Polperro is no place for cars anyway, to enjoy the place is to just accept that. There's lots of lovely little shops, bakery, post office etc & of course great pubs & restaurants right on your doorstep. We loved it, it was relaxing & felt nice to get away & stay in what felt like a proper village.
