A really lovely place to stay - Scilla Bob and Chester were so welcoming, the flat is amazing and so cosy, the location is awesome and the cream tea was a huge bonus after a long and muddy walk. Would highly recommend everything about this place :-) 10/10! Thanks for a great stay!
Stay in December 2018

Our stay at Scilla’s home was perfect - super cosy and the scones were delicious! Even though Scilla was away whilst we stayed, her communication was excellent and made it easy to find everything. We can’t wait to come back soon!
First wedding anniversary
By Laura Moor on 19-Sep-2018
We booked the Hayloft as a base to stay for the two of us and our dogs for our 1st wedding anniversary. It was perfect and excellently placed for exploring all the beaches, coves and villages nearby without being in the middle of it all. We have been to Port Isaac and the main towns in the summer time and they are always too packed for us so this quiet peaceful location is excellent! Scilla and Bobs place is beautiful and there is fabulous views over Bodmin moor from the Haylofts kitchen window and sea views from the stairs. This place was excellent value and the cream tea on arrival was delightful! The Hayloft was warm and cosy on a very wet and windy day. We loved our stay and will be booking again!

The Hayloft is a lovely little place, cosy, very comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. Lovely hot shower too! The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful, giving info for local visits and practical advice such as parking. It's a delightful area of the country and great to access some stunning coastline of North Cornwall. Chester the dog is such a sweetheart too - regularly came to visit but obedient and never outstayed his welcome. Would definitely recommend
