Well Presented.

The property is a three bedroom semi-detached house. It is situated in the attractive town of Portstewart on the majestic north coast. The town has a picturesque harbour and promenade with a two-mile long beach.

On the Promenade you will find a children play area, paddling pool and more.

The house is off the main road , literally about a six minute/0.8km walk to the Promenade.

There is an open plan Living/Dining Area and a separate Kitchen downstairs, with two double and one single (with sturdy bunks) bedrooms upstairs. The living/dining area, hall and upstairs bedrooms all have wooden floors. The stairs and landing are carpeted.

Outside there is a garage where you can hang your wet suits, store your surfboards, bicycles, etc. There is quite a large front side garden and enclosed side and rear gardens to keep the little ones safe. On the rear patio there is garden furniture (table and chairs). Fuel for the fire is also available in the coal-house. Wi-fi is available.

There are so many things to see and do in the area and beyond. Here are a few suggestions;

- Stroll down to the Promenade and peruse the shops

ideal for relaxing break - Scenery, Golf, Beach - Walk from the house, over the hill to the coastal path, the Strand, Barmouth or the Promenade and beyond.
- Play bowls, tennis, putting, golf or surf on Portstewart Strand Within a few miles there are Golf courses in Portstewart (3), Portrush (2), Bushmills and a 9 hole course between the two Ports.

- to the east visit Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope Bridge and Ballycastle and Rathlin Island. (Bring your National Trust Card)
- to the west visit Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne for a walk.(One of the most photographed scenes in Ireland)
- Travel by train from Coleraine to Derry/Londonderry, one of Michael Palin’s Great Railway Journeys. Walk on the historic Derry walls.
- A ferry will take you from Magilligan to Greencastle in Donegal where you can go for a wonderful days drive round the Inishowen Peninsula.
- You must check out the Antrim Coast Road, described as 'one of the top 5 driving trips in the world'.
- A day trip to our capitol, Belfast, is only 1 hour 15 minutes away.

- In Portstewart there are many restaurants,or try Portrush for a change.
- The nearest Tourist Information Office is in Coleraine; the Library situated below the Townhall on the Promenade has a little information, the Library also has internet access, which is free to members or a small charge if not.

A Great Choice: Town and House

By Joyce Solomon on 18-Sep-2019

We are frequent travelers to Ireland, but had never been to Northern Ireland before. There was much we wanted to see, but we prefer not to move around a great deal. We did some research and decided to stay in Portstewart for its smaller size, and proximity to the ocean and to the many sites on the northern coast. Then, we were fortunate enough to find 1 Seafield Park owned by Geoff and Hilda McKinney. The house had everything we needed, and then some. We did some of our own cooking, washed and dried clothes, and found lots of material to help us decide routes, and other things to do. At Geoff's recommendation, and with information in the house, we took a train from nearby Coleraine to Derry/Londonderry and had a great day, including a walking tour. (We'd recommend the open top bus for their walking tour. It includes the walls around the city as well as a walk through the neighborhoods which are the sites of the former "troubles." We had an excellent guide named Bill.) Geoff was helpful about all sorts of information and helped make our stay easy. It was also very easy to make the original rental from the States. I give an unreserved recommendation to 1 Seafield Park, and Geoff and Hilda!

Fantastic Fantastic House - Everything you could possibly need in a great location!

By Ruth Barton on 18-Sep-2019

My family stayed at this property during our holiday to the North Coast and had a wonderful time! We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is seeking an immaculately maintained property in Portstewart. A very short walk to the Promenade and beach in a quiet but central location to visit all the popular tourist attractions such as the Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Distillery etc. This property was clean and well appointed for a short or long term stay, we felt very comfortable here. The house was tastefully furnished, bright and modern. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Comfortable holiday house

By Phil Wilson on 01-Sep-2019

Stayed 4 nights in August with our daughter and 2 grandchildren at Geoff & Hildas house. The dealings i had with them from start till finish was over and above what i would normally get. All instructions about the house and places to go were very beneficial. The house had plenty of space about it and had many extras inside it. The rooms were spotless and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable with extra bedding if needed. I can only highly recommend this house for anyone to have a holiday at the Antrim coast.

We love this property. Perfect for our family of 5. We have stayed here 6 or 7 times, loosing count. It’s a lovely clean, well maintained house within walking distance of the promenade. Perfect for children who don’t like to walk too far! Geoff and Hilda are a lovely couple to deal with and have everything you need covered. Thank you for another lovely stay at the beautiful north Coast.

Already planning our next trip!

By Lorcan McCooey on 07-Aug-2019

Lovely property, well-equipped with everything we needed as a family of five, in a great location. Bigger than the photos suggest, and the large windows throughout allow lots of light in. Garage was useful for storing wet prams and coats etc. when caught in the inevitable rain showers. Great communication from Geoff throughout. We will certainly be looking at booking again next year.

Lovely place with a great location

By Troy Lozar on 09-Jul-2019

Geoff and Hilda are renting a meticulously kept little home with off-street parking very close to the Portstewart and Portrush beaches and attractions. Geoff goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. There was plenty of room for 5-6 guests and a nice very functional little kitchen. Aside from being clean, secure, and charming, the location is hard to beat for Antrim Coast sights - The Causeway, the Dark Hedges (go after 9pm or before sunrise), Dunluce castle, Carrick-a-Rede Bridge are all easy short drives away... These sights are lovely but the non-touristed ones only slightly off the track are even better - There are some amazing ruins and castles not far away that don't see the tour buses... A Lovely place to stay - I recommend. One thing to note is the bathroom and bedrooms are all upstairs --- this is not a mark against the house, but just a note if someone you are travelling with has trouble with stairs. Thanks, Geoff!

The place was lovely and well located and Geoff met us at the door. All 6 of us fit comfortably. The house was very clean and delightful, and the area was very safe. Geoff was so pleasant and very concerned that we were all comfortable and had a good time. It was a terrific location to explore Portstewart and all the local sites.

Second stay at fabulous home by the coast!

By Julie Kerr on 11-Jun-2019

This was our second stay at Geoff’s house having stayed there a couple years ago and having a brilliant week previously. We rebooked with Geoff as it provides the perfect base to visit our family plus it is close to the beach and the prom. The house is a lovely light and airy home and it is beautifully clean and tidy. It is a great place to stay for a seaside break or perhaps for North West 200. It is very well looked after and Geoff is the perfect host! He has thought of everything to make your trip enjoyable. There is a great welcome pack that suggests fun things to do for all ages, and the kitchen is well stocked with Crockery, cutlery and equipment should you choose to cook, but the house is also within walking distance of lots of yummy restaurants and pubs. There is a lovely play area just down at the prom and an award winning ice cream parlour that was a big hit with our kids! In five minutes you can get to the beach, often voted one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. There is plenty of storage space in the house and as 5 guests (two adults three children) we had plenty of room. There is excellent WiFi in the house, and a tv with all the on demand channels etc, plus a DVD and cd player. There is a great little garden but as we had glorious weather all week we spent most of our time out and about. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Portstewart stay

By Hilary McDowell on 15-May-2019

Portstewart stay
We arrived on a lovely sunny afternoon. There were three of us, myself, my daughter and her little boy. Geoff was there to greet us and show us around. It was very much appreciated. Geoff’s home was well equipped and really comfortable especially the beds. Although we spent much of our time out and about it was lovely to return home in the evening get the little one to bed and then simply chill out and enjoy each other’s company. The weather kept up for our whole visit which was great. We will certainly tell our friends about our great stay in Portstewart.

Perfect Property

By Owen Gunning on 11-Dec-2018

I stayed here with my wife and two young children and I can not recommend this superb property enough. The location of the property is simply perfect - a short stroll in one direction takes you to the promenade and in the other, to the stunning beach and Portstewart Golf Club. We met with the owner, Geoff, who is an absolute gentleman and will do anything to help you. The property is spotlessly clean, the accommodation is bright and spacious and well equipped with everything you need. All in all - this is a superb property in a superb location - we will definitely be back.

We had a great week spent in seafield park. House is well equipped and very clean. It’s perfect for us and our three children. The girls love the bunk beds! Welcoming and Cosy

By Elisabeth Botzem on 09-Jun-2018

welcoming and cosy
We had a great time again at this very cosy home away from home. Geoff had made us a very nice welcome, being there to greet us and putting some lovely flowers on the table. The first coupe of days we enjoyed breakfast in the garden with the hot sun above. We had a great time driving all along the coastal route from Derry to Glenarm, discovering new places and sights that we hadn't seen before. Going to Fair Head and walking up the steep hill in the fog was spooky but fun. We heard cows and sheep but couldn't make them out in the mist. When the clouds disappeared we had the stunning view down the cliff edge...great!!!Glenarm was, as always, very beautiful and has turned out to be one of my favourites. We had lots of trips to the beaches along the coast as the weather was very nice. We even took off our shoes and walked in the water which was refreshing and cool. We always enjoyed returning to our "home" and relax in the evening in the garden. We will certainly be back to Northern Ireland and "our" home there.

Portstewart -Summer 2017

By Steve Morris on 16-Aug-2017

Had a great week at Geoff's place in Aug-17. Great house with all the mod cons, like a home from home for the week and also a great location for all the local amenities. We were fortunate with the weather and enjoyed a couple of days on the Portstewart strand beach. Being National Trust members we also visited the Giants Causeway and went over the Carrick a rede rope bridge. Can also recommend Dunluce Castle, a day trip on the train to Derry (great scenery on the journey) and Bushmills distillery. All in all one of our best family holidays ever. Thanks Geoff and Hilda.

So nice to come back to "our house" at the end of each day. We walked to portstewart beach and shops and coffee shops. Plenty of choices! It was a great stay that we all enjoyed! Geoff was so welcoming and helpful. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

Highly recommend this house

By Ben Thomas on 30-Nov-2016

A lovely house that was warm and comfortable. Was perfectly positioned just a few mins walk from the promenade and came with all utilities and furniture needed for the holiday. The roaring fireplace was its best feature so watching that log fire cracking away was very relaxing. Double glazed windows so no loss of heat and kept the house quiet from the outside elements. The area was lovely and peaceful situated in a small estate of houses but with enough space that you felt private and not sharing your life with others. Highly recommend this house to other users

The house is a good size, the kitchen and living/dining room are well proportioned and very well furnished and resourced. Plus the house was spotless on our arrival. Geoff was also very easy to deal with and the instructions / manual provided detailed everything you need to know.

Stayed with husband and two kids (6 and 3). Great location - walking distance to play park and cafes on the Prom but also accessible by car through back roads to avoid queuing through the town. Lovely clean home and spacious, secure garden. My kids loved playing hide and seek in the garden and the bunk bed was a huge hit. Well stocked cabinets in the kitchen and modern comfortable furniture throughout the house. From the minute we walked in the door we felt at home. The best home from home.

By Colin Thomas on 31-May-2016

When you find a little gem of a place like this you really want to keep it to yourself so that it will always be available to you at the last moment when you fancy a quick get away, but that would be selfish and unfair to the effort Hilda and Geoff (the owners) for they have not provided a shell for you to rent, they really have given up their home complete with every conceivable home form home comfort and gadget that you could want for. Geoff is a lovely man, genuinely concerned that you are comfortable in the house, I'm not going to go over what others have written about what has been thoughtfully provided in Seafield Park but it really is all there. Because it is all there, you feel the sense of respect and thankfulness that you have not had to remember to 'think of bringing it' that you want to leave all as you found it, so that the next occupiers can experience what you have been surprised at. Portstewart is a lovely coastal town, like so many on the north Antrim coast, you'll want to come back again and again to do more exploring. When you want to visit places slightly further afield, Eire is only a short drive and easily accessed through Londonderry/Derry (so not to offend). County Donegal is a beautiful place to see. So many coastal drives and mountains to marvel at. Glenveagh National Park is a stunning estate to visit, steeped in history and beauty, it's well sign-posted in the centre of County Donegal, well worth a visit. Bushmills distillery is also another place to visit and the 12yr old Distillery Reserve at £36 a bottle is a must sample delight. I left with two of them (lucky me)!!!! You can only buy it at the distillery. If you're into your motorcycles, visit Ballymoney and have a drink in Joey's bar and have a little quiet time in the Dunlops' Memorial Garden. There really is so much to see and do in Ireland I could go on and on and on,,,,,,,,,,, The Irish are wonderful people, intent on making sure you are having a good time and so helpful, and they actually speak to you in the street! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Ticked all the boxes

By Pete D on 25-May-2016

Returned to this house and it was just as before - clean, comfortable, and with all utensils to not have to worry about a thing. Wifi and towels a bonus as we were on a motorcycle trip - garage meant the bikes were tucked away for the night. Neighbours and anyone that passed as friendly as ever. Brilliant location for amenities and day trips, walking distance to the beach. Everywhere we went people wanted to talk - such a friendly country to visit. Highly recommended holiday home.

Great base for a weeks holiday

By Simon R on 21-May-2016

I stayed at this lovely house with three friends for a week during the North West 200 motorbike races from 8th to 15th May. We were blessed with seven full days of sun!! This was our second stay at the house having stayed here for the 2014 races. The house is lovely and clean, bright and well maintained. Everything you would need is provided including washing machine, microwave oven, fridge etc. Four men had a very comfortable week sleeping in two double beds and a set of bunk beds. The kitchen is well equipped, every home comfort with WiFi and TV. Secure garage with tumble drier. Bathroom with bath and good electric shower. We used the house as a base during race week and also toured the fantastic Northern Ireland countryside. Port Stewart is a ten minute walk away and the coastal walk from the Strand into Port Stewart is advised as is a drive along the Coastal Route. A large Tesco is a five minute drive and there are take aways, pubs and shops in the town. We managed to have a BBQ in the garden one evening and used the garden furniture.(not on the BBQ!) There is plenty to do for families couples or a group of friends and the house provides the ideal base.Everyone we met out and about made us feel genuinely welcome. A highly recommended rental property to base yourself for a great holiday in Northern Ireland.

Great holiday home for a young family

By Katherine Corthorn on 20-May-2016

We had a great stay in this holiday home in Portstewart. The house was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. It had a lot of little touches that can make all the difference in a self catering place - plenty of towels, tea towels, dishwashing cloths, boxes of tissues etc as well as a cot and highchair and good wifi. Our young boys particularly enjoyed the novelty of having bunk beds and making use of the garden (and things like the swingball set were a great touch). The location of the house was good. It was about a fifteen minute walk into Portstewart centre and we could have walked to the strand too (but instead we drove to make use of the on-beach parking!). We had some lovely meals out (Harry's shack and Amici) but the restaurant literally across the road from the house (Kargo 56) was also decent enough and we went there twice due to its handiness. There was a spar shop on the way into town (10min walk) but also a reasonably large telco less than 5min drive away. All in all a well equipped, comfortable house that made a great base for a stay at the beautiful north coast.

Great stay at a very well equipped family house

By Amanda McLaughlin on 04-Feb-2016

Stayed here for a short Halloween break. The hosts Geoff and Hilda were incredibly prompt and accommodating in responding to my impromptu booking (literally the day before planned arrival). They greeted us upon arrival and explained what was needed. Very welcoming and friendly. We stayed with a 5 year old, 3 year old and baby. Kids room came with some toys and books which was a bonus. Also there were buckets, spades etc for the beach. House was clean, kitchen had pretty much everything you could think of and would need (possibly the best I've encountered), good quality bed linens and mattresses made for a very comfortable stay. Easy walking distance to town or strand beach. Had a fabulous time and the added bonus of sunshine when we were there. Couldn't have asked for more (apart from a longer break)

Great for a family

By Mary O'Connor on 08-Nov-2015

The house is situated on a quite road and we were able to park our car outside the house in a private driveway. It was within walking distance to the beach and promenade. The house was very clean and well equipped. There was even firewood and coal provided. The towel and sheets were good quality. We can highly recommend Harry's Shack on the beach, reservation would be advisable. I found dealing with Geoff a pleasure and myself and my husband was delighted to meet him prior to departure. Geoff provided a very good information booklet on the house (how to turn On the heating etc.) and the services in the area. Portstewert is a very central place to tour this beautiful part of the country. Overall I would highly recommend this house.

This was our 3rd stay here and it was as good as ever. Accommodation and location is great but it is all the little extras that set it apart - lots of towels, wi-fi, lots of games and books and dvds to keep the kids entertained. We would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone coming to visit. Perfect.

Great holiday home

By Olga Pollock on 03-Aug-2015

This was our second time staying in this lovely house and it was just as fantastic as last summer. This is a very clean, well equipped holiday home which is well located and in close proximity to the promenade and shops. It was a lovely family home and our two young children loved it. The owners, Geoff and Hilda are a pleasure to deal with and have a personal touch. Would definitely recommend!

Seafield Park

By Michelle Fowler on 29-Jul-2015

The location was wonderful, an easy walk to the golf course, beach and the Promenade. It was also very easy access to Ulsterbus services to get into Portrush, Coleraine or event Belfast (by train via Coleraine). It is also close to all the activities and restaurants in Portstewart, we would even take the bus to Portrush to enjoy the restaurants there, and it was less than 20 minutes door to door. The owners were wonderful and immediately addressed any questions and concerns and went out of their way to make our extended stay easier. We had the property for an extended period of time, and they assisted when needed. The listing was very accurate, we traveled with three teenagers so the WIFI access was a plus. The home was very clean and well manicured. I even had my cousin stay for a while and she loved it, she had a car and was able to access everything easily. I would definitely recommend Seafield Park to my family and friends.

Really enjoyed our stay

By Edele Woods on 25-May-2015

Myself, husband and 2 kids (3 yrs old and 6 mths old) stayed here for 6 nights in May 2015 and would definitely go back. The owners were helpful and friendly throughout the booking process and our stay. The house was clean and child friendly - travel cot, highchair, buggy, even buckets and spades were provided. It really was a home from home. Location wise, the house is only a short walk to the promenade and the strand, and a great base for exploring other north coast attractions - gaints causeway, rope bridge, dunluce castle

Fantastic stay very close to Portstewart centre

By Simon Cooney on 17-Jan-2015

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights between Christmas and new year. We found the accommodation to be a home from home. The 2nd night of our stay was officially the coldest night in Northern Ireland in the whole of 2014 yet despite this the house was lovely and warm. The house is very well equipped and just 5 minutes walk from the Diamond area of Portstewart which has several bars. One morning we walked from the house along a coastal path to Portstewart Strand which is miles long and backed by sand dunes. Also check out the Ramore restaurant and bar complex in Portrush. We look forward to staying here in the future.

Great location, family home

By Olga Pollock on 10-Oct-2014

This house was superb. It more than catered for our needs and was within walking distance of Portstewart. There was even a lovely restaurant at the end of the road. The house was very clean and was one of the first things I noticed when we arrived. We quickly felt at home and did not have to figure anything out as all electrical appliances were left with clear operating instructions. It was also very child friendly and both kids felt at home in no time and loved their separate bedrooms. Our 3 year old still talks about 'the holiday home'!

Lovely bright clean house in a great location!

By Kathryn Doherty on 08-Oct-2014

Had a 2 night stay here and was so impressed with how lovely this house was- so well kitted out with everything you could think of in the kitchen and lots of wee extras to make your stay more comfortable! Impressive tv system with catch up tv and fast wifi. Beds were so comfy with freshly laundered bed linen. Lovely private garden out the back and closed in to keep kids safe! One welcomed addition would have been a stair gate to contain my 15month old but didn't affect my stay here. Geoff is so helpful when booking and everything is done very professionally! Glad to have found this house in a super location -hope to be back again soon!

The most ideal location in portstewart

By Paulene Scott on 02-Sep-2014

I stayed in this fabulous home with my husband and three kids which was immaculate with all the mod cons you could ask for. It looked and said what was on the website excellent. There were a good variety of CDs/DVDs/books and games for all ages the boys loved Monopoly and my daughter loved the kid’s books and DVDs. the house was just so comfortable the boys loved the bunk beds and my daughter loved having a double bed for herself. The beds were the best we have slept in rental accommodation. Very convenient to promenade which ideal for that last stroll after tea to the park and get do-nuts for supper was a real treat for our kids. Very handy to the strand beach were we spent as much time as we could, and the garage handy for drying those wet suits!! The owners of the house are very friendly and are very helpful if you not sure of anything in the house as all instructions are clearly left and also very flexible if you needed an extra night or two which benefited us as a family. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who has small kids / teenagers who don't want to walk to far into town and ideal for those who would like to run in the mornings its lovely doing a 1.5mile run round by the sea and beach and back to house for that extra boost of seaside air.

Brilliant Family Holiday

By Chris Cullen on 03-Sep-2013

This is a great house. Good location close to town centre but also the sea. It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped - everything you could need is supplied - so good if you want to travel light. And now with Wi-Fi. We have been going to Portstewart for 20yrs and this is the best yet. I have no hesitation in giving it the full 5 stars (except that I don't want it to be fully booked next year when we intend to return !).

Wonderful stay

By Christine An on 17-Jul-2013

It's a lovely property (even looks better than the photos) in a quiet residential area, close to the water and shops (Tescos near by). The house is bright, airy and clean with all the thing you want and need in a holiday letting. The house is also tastefully decorated and we had plenty of clean linens for the whole family. My boyfriend's mum loved the place and asked for the owner's contact details for her future holiday. The owner, Geoff, is really nice and made sure our stay was a pleasant one. I highly recommend this place if you ever need a holiday letting in Portstewart.

Great stay!

By Jonathan Madill on 19-Jun-2013

My wife and I stayed at this holiday home for 5 nights in June together with our two kids (aged 3 months, and two). Our booking was at quite late notice, but this wasn't a problem at all. We contacted Geoff (the owner) directly, and the booking process couldn't have been easier. Everything was made very clear and straightforward. The house itself was great. The biggest advantage was the location -a 5 minute walk from the Portstewart promenade. The house was very comfortable -set in a quiet location, warm and spotlessly clean, and well kitted out throughout with all mod-cons. The beds were also very comfortable. All of the attractions of the North coast were just a short drive away. The house was a great base to travel from. Overall we had a fantastic short break, and we're already planning our next visit!

Great property.

By Claire Dickinson on 14-Jun-2013

We have just returned from a four day break staying in this property. Two adults and three kids (5, 3 and 1). It was really clean and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds and the books, games, dvds and beach gear all provided for in the house. The fixtures and fittings were all really good quality and everything seems to have been thought of. Would strongly recommend a stay here. Hope to be back. Thanks Geoff and Hilda

Fantastic home, beautifully furnished

By Elizabeth F on 29-Apr-2013

I was on holiday with family from Belfast and London. I was amazed at how wonderful this accommodation was, it is close to tesco's and was in walking distance of the Promenade and all restaurants. The inside of the house was beautiful, tastefully furnished and the kitchen had just everything you could possibly want. The attention to detail was brilliant eg. Brochures for things to go to see ie. Giants Causeway. Instruction as to how to look after the house, I found this most useful as usually you wondering what do with simple things like rubbish and do you recycle. I would highly recommend this house and would hope to use it again in the future. Could,t possibly find fault with anything, it was as nearly perfect as can be

Everything we needed and much more

By Avril Wilkens on 16-Dec-2012

This was a fantastic cozy house and had everything we needed for two young children including cot, board games, And DVDs. I packed the car full of things before our trip and I needn't have bothered with half of it as this house was so well equipped...even decaf coffee! It was very warm and cozy even though the ice was on the ground when we arrived. The beds were really comfy and I don't have any complaints. We did a coastal walk on the first night into Portstewart and drove a short way to a gorgeous beach the next day. Portstewart had a lovely play park for the children and a massive ice cream shop so everyone was happy. Geoff the owner was very friendly and we would definitely like to go back in the future.

Home From Home

By Sarah P on 23-Nov-2012

The house was well presented, the owners have thought of everything and more! lots of thoughtful touches, very much 'Home from Home'. We have 2 children ages 3 and 5 years who simply loved sleeping in the bunk beds! The location is just a few minutes walk to the beach and situated in a nice quiet area. Easy access by foot or car to see the beautiful rugged coastline of Northern Ireland. If you choose to rent this property, you will not be disappointed, we highly recommend this a place to stay in Port Stewart

By Peter Gray on 08-Oct-2012

Would definitely stay again.

Great House in a great location

By Steven McDermott on 01-Oct-2012

My wife, our 5 month old daughter and myself recently spent 3 nights at this property and had a great time.

We booked our stay directly through the owner Geoff. Although all our communication was via email and text we found Geoff extremely polite, helpful and fast to respond to any queries we had. He was very helpful in getting the cot set up just where we wanted. As we had never rented a self catering property before we were a bit wary when asked for the full amount plus a security deposit up front but have since learned this is normal when booking with such notice as we did. As for the security deposit we shouldn't have worried as the very efficient Geoff had it back in my bank account 2 days after our stay ended.

Onto the house itself. It's a lovely 3 bedroom semi detached situated 5 minutes walk from Portstewart promenade in a very quiet residential street. It's also 5 minutes walk from the coastal path which leads to the beautiful Portstewart strand. The location within Portstewart is ideal and Portstewart itself is a great place for exploring the north coast.

The house has 3 good size bedrooms. 2 of those contain a double bed with the other containing a bunk bed and is ideal for kids. The beds themselves are extremely comfortable and both of us slept very well throughout our stay. The bathroom is also upstairs and is large and bright.

Downstairs there is a large modern furnished living/dining room which contains a large sofa, armchair, reclining leather chair, dining table with chairs and a modern tv and sound system. There is also a good selction of dvds, books and magazines.

The kitchen is just next to the live room and contains all you would want when self catering. It has a cooker, hob, toaster, fridge, microwave and a large supply of pots, pans and other dishes. There is even a small quantity of basic supplies such as cooking oils, herbs, tea and coffee and there is a large supermarket a short drive away. The decor throughout is modern, clean and bright.

There is also a fully enclosed back garden which would be great for kids to get out and play in.

All in all we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and will hopefully be back again ourselves!

Beautiful house, Great location.

By Clare Hinds on 11-Sep-2012

Myself and four friends stayed in this house for a weekend away and we loved it! It is beautifully decorated, quite modern yet cosy.

The house was as described, if not better than the pictures! A nice spacious living/ dining room with TV, DVD player and a range of dvds, books and board games. The kitchen is small but has everything you could ever need and lots of basics were provided such as teabags, milk, spices, kitchen roll etc. The three bedrooms have lovely comfortable beds and plenty of storage.

The house is located very close to the promenade in Portstewart, just a few minutes walk away and also a 3 minute drive away from Tesco Supermarket which we found very handy.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a great location, close to lots of attractions, shops and beaches then I would definitely stay here! I certainly will be back!

I stayed here with a small group of friends and we had a lovely relaxing weekend in a great location and wonderful house! The house was as described and we were provided with everything we needed! It's beautifully decorated, modern yet cosy. 3 lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The kitchen is small but has everything you could need. The information pack provided was excellent and told us all that we needed to know about the house and how things work. The location of the property is great, just a couple of minutes from the Promenade and there is a Tesco supermarket about a 3minute drive away which is really handy. Lots of restaurants, bars and little shops close by and also a range of beautiful beaches. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, you will have a great holiday here.
