Description

We have run self-catering cottages at a different location in Reeth since 1965.

Early 1970 we purchased a two acre field, empty except for a barn in the corner. A field we regularly walked passed and said 'one day we will live on that field'. It was a dream come true. We started by building a bungalow for ourselves and extended family.

Then in the 1980's we went on to build three stone terraced holiday cottages alongside our bungalows, to run in our retirement ! We have done all the work ourselves with our own four hands!

The cottages are nearly identical but the middle one has a slightly larger footprint.
We have many returning visitors but due to health issues some can no longer make the journey
Help by taking their place then return again to be offered a loyalty discount

A peaceful site with stunning views but just 5 mins walk to the centre of Reeth where there are eating places, shops, museum, post office

WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS OR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF TEN

The site includes a huge garden with ponds, mini forest, shrubs, lots of seating and a private river bank

stephen and susan (Friday, 07 October 2022 17:16) We have been coming for many years - mainly in Autumn and Winter - and never been disappointed. Always a warm welcome! An ideal location to explore (walk/cycle) this scenic and lonely Dale; the local volunteer bus services mean you can leave the car behind! A wealth of good eateries within walking distance, and local services within the village. Highly recommended.
