The property has been beautifully converted throughout with fantastic attention to detail and a wonderful ambiance.

With an enviable network of public footpaths, the stunning countryside is a walkers paradise, whilst the historic market towns offer excellent restaurants, independent shops, quaint tea rooms and regular market days. The Old Post Office is a fabulous Yorkshire country cottage for a memorable holiday at any time of the year.

With a tasteful Post Office theme running throughout, there is a bright and cheerful lounge area, with an electric wood burner-effect stove set in a feature stone fireplace.

The lounge offers three sofas set around the fireplace with a large flat screen Smart TV for everyone to enjoy and room to stretch out and relax. A DVD player is available for those who want to enjoy a film from the large selection on offer. Together with a good selection of family games and books the Old Post Office is the ideal place for quality family time. A cosy corner, away from the TV, is an ideal place to to curl up with a good book or play games.

The kitchen is equipped with large electric range cooker, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. A tall fridge freezer offers generous storage, while a dish washer and washing machine complete the kitchen fittings. A breakfast bar is perfect for that first brew of the morning.

The dining area seats nine people and is perfect for leisurely breakfasts, family meals together. A high chair is available.

With sleeping accommodation for nine across two levels, The Old Post Office offers versatile accommodation for large groups and family holidays. Smaller parties can also be accommodated. A travel cot is available.

Four bedrooms and the family bathroom are situated on the first floor. The master bedroom, with king size bed, and the double room, with double bed, both have en-suite facilities. This floor also has a single and twin bedroom close to the family bathroom.

The family bathroom consists of a traditional bath, electric shower over the bath, wash hand basin, large heated towel rail and toilet.

For the adventurous ones, on the second floor, there is a further twin bedroom.

Outside the cottage, there is access down a private path to a sunny patio area, perfect for morning coffee, evening glass of wine or family picnic.

Local pubs and shops are just a short stroll away. The well stocked village shop and tearoom is situated literally metres from the front door. A second tearoom and food shop is just across the village green. Our village pub is a couple of hundred metres away and well worth a visit.

With an enviable network of public footpaths, the stunning countryside is a walkers paradise. The cottage has a good collection of walking books, maps and details of numerous local attractions.

Good to know..... There is no mobile phone signal in Rosedale. However, we offer a permanent landline telephone and free high speed, fibre, WiFi Broadband giving internet access throughout The Old Post Office.
