A delightful apartment which has had a major refurbishment in 2018 with a distant sea view through well-maintained large gardens. It is in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park close to beaches and convenient for many attractions. The property has a double/family room with Queen size bed and cot available.There is a TV in the bedroom. By prior request at small additional cost a second large bedroom may be available.
Although the apartment is well equipped, there are additional available items in the main house. If you think you need something else please ask and I will try to provide it. There is also a dedicated laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Towels including some beach towels are available in the laundry room. You may change them whenever you wish we just ask that you put them in to wash and dry before leaving.
The apartment is about three quarters of a mile from the Saundersfoot village centre, harbour and main beach, so it is convenient to walk or drive but there is also a regular bus service to the village, Tenby and other larger towns which passes right by the property and buses will stop on request. Whilst being convenient for the village it benefits from being without the sometimes noisy hubbub of the village centre especially in the late evening. Alternatively there is an off-road walk down to the Glen beach via a footpath through woodlands with a gentle gradient.
From the window of the apartment you can see my chicken run at the bottom of the garden and you will be given half a dozen of their eggs for each week you stay. Free of charge.
The apartment has a bathroom with WC, hand basin, bath and separate shower. The main living accommodation is a combined lounge/diner and kitchen area which is well-equipped with fridge, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, gas cooker and other small appliances. An external washing line is available as well as the tumble dryer within the apartment. In the main lounge here is a Freeview TV with combined DVD/CD player. Off road parking is available for up to two cars. Sun loungers/chairs for use on the property or to take to the beach are available if required and a barbecue is also available although this must be cleaned after use. Linen (duvet covers, pillow cases and bottom sheets) are provided. Towels and tea towels, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid are also provided. . One and occasionally two dogs are allowed with prior notification. The apartment is also on the route of the Ironman race and ideal for watching it or as a base to take part. Lovely pet friendly holiday apartment in Saundersfoot. Just a short walk to beach and 10mins in car to Tenby.
The apartment is well equipped, clean and you have the added benefit of looking out onto the owners lovely garden,with fresh eggs from the hens daily if you want them.
Allen is very friendly and helpful also very knowledgeable on the local area. We would love to come again.

We had a fabulous holiday at mount pleasant. We were a family of 5 adults and 1 child. Great accommodation and gorgeous gardens. Alan was so helpful and made our stay so enjoyable.

Lovely clean and well equip apartment with beautiful gardens with chickens, fresh eggs are available from the owner.
Quiet location with easy access to Saundersfoot. taking just 10 minutes to get to be beach by car or a bus stops at the top of the Road.
Would definitely go back again.

A wonderful family break away for the 4 of us. Allen our host was very accommodating and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing was too much trouble. House facilities were excellent. Very clean and tidy and well equipped. Location great for a peaceful getaway yet excellent access of local transport to Saundersfoot and Tenby and other attractions. We are already looking forward to a return trip

We have been a week in July at Mount Pleasant. It has been a wonderful week. The guesthouse is nicely situated on a hilltop and is fully equipped. Specially we want to mention the owner, Allan, who was already helpful via email when we were at home, preparing our holidays. He sure is as friendly as we had read before in the reviews! Just an example is his invitation to use his garden, underlining that he menned the whole garden: 'there's no such thing of this part is yours and this is mine'.
What for us also counted that Mount Pleasant is a good place to start our daily trips in Pembrokeshire. I have understood that we were the first Dutch guests. Hopefully we are not the last. Mount Pleasant was fantastic and that goes for the whole of Wales: a stunning beautiful country with very friendly people everywhere.

Property had everything you need, Wifi a bonus. Owner very friendly and helpful,nothing was too much trouble and contactable 24/7. The property is close too Saundersfoot town centre 15 minute steady walk, however it is up hill on the way back, but a regular bus service passes the property and also goes to Tenby. We really enjoyed our stay including our dog. Can't wait too return.
Ideal for Ironman

I stayed here for the wales ironman with my sister and her boyfriend. The owner, Allan, was very friendly and relaxed so we really felt at home here. The best part is that it is just at the top of heartbreak hill on the bike course and just a 5 minute walk from the top of the run course so it was a perfect location for my sister to see me a number of times throughout the day. I'd recommend it for anyone doing the ironman and also just for a general holiday.

6 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 younger children) stayed for a rather wet week at the end of August. In fact we had an additional person stay for a couple of nights and even then it didn't feel too cramped. It's pretty much got everything you need, and the WiFi is a real bonus when researching activity options. If it wasn't for the weather the garden would have been a lovely place to relax and eat too.
The owner lives next door which is reassuring, but he was very relaxed and you never felt like you were staying in someone else's place. Overall a good experience despite the weather.
Other recommendations ... Colby Woodland Garden, The New Inn at Amroth and the Carew Inn, Stackpole (Broadhaven South and Barrafundle beaches are just beautiful).

We had a great time in Saundersfoot, we used the home as our base which was comfortable and very roomy. Everything we needed was available in the home and Allan the owner was very accomodating. Excellent views and not far from the main town(steep walk).

The accommodation was spacious bright and cheerful with the use of a lovely garden, Alan was both friendly and helpful (especially the notes in the folder he leaves for you, very helpful) we did originally want to stay in Tenby we are so glad we that didn't everything about saundersfoot was perfect the walks the beach the harbour what more could you wish for in a holiday the weather was perfect who needs to go abroad I wouldn't hesitate in recommending mount pleasant as a place to stay

The property is clean & tidy & perfectly adequate for 4 persons. You don't spend much time there so its great. The landlord is very friendly & its a short walk to the center of town & Tenby is within walking distance. There are is a good selection of eateries within stagering distance too :)

I initially booked for 3 nights but enjoyed it so much that as the property was available ended up staying two extra nights! My wife , daughter and myself all agreed we would like to visit again and as the owner allowed us to take our dog that meant the whole family had a great time.
The property has all you could need including a full kitchen , TV , free wifi and full use of the garden and BBQ etc.
The location was superb with a very short drive or a longer walk to Saundersfoot with it's beaches , pubs , shops and restaurants.
The owner could not have been more friendly , welcoming and accommodating.
We have visited the area many times over many years and in a variety of accommodation types but this is now our favourite.

We found this apartment to be a great base for our stay in Saundersfoot Wales. We found a nearby secluded beach which was peaceful and quite lovely. There are plenty of amenities nearby.Allan, the host, was very helpful, the apartment was spacious and well equipped.We would stay again in future.

Very clean and comfortable. Lots of parking space. Owner very pleasant. The views were stunning. Excellent facilities and all new. Very well equipped kitchen with all mod cons including a dishwasher.. Had a very good holiday and owner only too pleased to advise on places to visit. Had plenty of space to relax in.
