Description

Home House is situated in the heart of a pretty south Devon village within easy walking distance of the Teign Estuary. Surrounded by rolling hills and valleys, flower filled hedgerows and pretty thatched cottages you will soon relax in your own corner of a rural idyll. There is much to occupy you with a heated swimming pool and a games room with pool table. It is part of a large house – once one of the major farmhouses in the village – and it has been stylishly decorated and smartly furnished to give you the charm of the old with the comfort and chic elegance of the new.
The village has two great pubs both serving food and there are endless other options a little further afield. The estuary is a 12 minute walk away and the nearest beach about 2.5 miles. in addition to the many seaside villages and towns surrounding Home House, beautiful Dartmoor is also easily reached.


Additional information to please note:
- children are very welcome at Home House however we would like to make you aware of the stream at the bottom of the garden and the ponds in the owners' private garden
- we have a travel cot for babies in addition to the other 9 people we are able to accommodate
- unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs

Incredible home!

What an incredible home! I didn’t believe it when a review said the pictures don’t do it justice but it’s true. We were a group of 14 and there was heaps of space with everything you could possibly need. This has got to be the best holiday home we’ve ever stayed in!

We would like to return!

Ample accommodation for our party of 15. As the weather wasn't too good, the private indoor pool was a great hit with the children. The house is situated within easy driving distance of several seaside towns; Torquay, Paignton, Teignmouth to name but a few. We would definitely like to return!

A wonderful few days

We've just come back from a wonderful few days staying at Home House. We arrived on friday eve greeted by a lovely chocolate cake and beautiful flowers. We were blown away by the house and the facilities. All the bedrooms were beautiful and everything you needed was provided. The house is located in a beautiful village. The kids loved the pool, cinema room and games room. We hardly saw them. We would definitely go back. Thanks so much Jill xx
