We had a fantastic Xmas at Jill’s. Jill was very helpful and responded immediately to our questions. If we go to Devon again it will be back here. Highly recommended
We stayed for a week, 3 families with 3 children under 5. House was plenty big enough for all of us. Although we didn’t require any assistance from the hosts they were always happy to have a quick chat whenever we saw them. It was lovely to find a cream tea waiting for us on arrival, thank you. The swimming pool was amazing if slightly on the cool side. The children would have stayed in there all day if we had let them. Fully equipped kitchen with space for everyone and we were able to eat outside when the weather was good. We had a fantastic time, thank you Jill and Nigel
Beautiful roomy home in quiet hamlet, with garden and indoor pool. Lots of thoughtful extras, delicious cream tea waiting for us! Full of character and charm. Very good communication with our host, and instant response to requests. Excellent household equipment and all useful appliances, everything thought of. Handy for Shaldon and Teignmouth, local walks too.

Wonderful house in a beautiful quiet location. Swimming pool was a lifesaver for the kids when we had rain and the pool table provided fun evening entertainment. The house was very well equipped for a long stay and Jill was very responsive for any queries. Also, check out the leaves of the tree in the middle of the garden, they smell like peanut butter! Thank you!
Home House is an amazing cottage very well maintained. It retains many of the original characteristics and is furnished in a practical way. The bedrooms are lovely, very comfortable including the beds. The sheets are clean and good quality. We arrived to find scones, strawberries and amazing clotted cream - which was a lovely touch. The bathrooms are in keeping with the property but very practical with good water pressure which can sometimes be an issue. Jill was an amazing host - anything we requested such as more bin bags arrived within minutes. She is clear in her communication and provided all the info we needed in advance. Both Jill and Neil answered all our questions prior to our arrival promptly and also went the extra mile to accommodate. The village is beautiful with really good local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The Gardens are really stunning with stream running at the bottom. When we return to Devon hopefully next year - I''ll definitely be looking to book again at Home House!
