Description
Semi detached cottage in the village of Dolwyddelan in the beautiful LLedr valley, which is set amongst the forests, mountains, rivers and lakes of the Snowdonia national park and ideally located for walking, climbing, mountain biking and sightseeing.Explore the many castles (including Dolwyddelan), slate caverns, steam railways, historic houses and gardens in the area. Beautiful sandy beaches are a short drive away at Harlech and Black rock sands. Golf courses at Harlech, Porthmadog, Conwy, LLandudno and Betws-y-Coed. Restaurants and tourist shops are at nearby Betws-y-Coed (4 miles).
Arvon Cottage has double glazing, exposed beams, LPG central heating, open tread staircase and a well equipped kitchen. Please note we only do short breaks (Details available on our website) during the Winter months, not Easter. The rest of the year is Friday changeover. We accept up to two small dogs which must not be left in the property on their own; owners are requested to bring their bedding with them as dogs are not allowed upstairs. Week in Snowdonia
By Terence J. on 27-Aug-2019Nice home from home, house is much roomier than it looks from outside. There was everything there that we wanted and all was very comfortable. Generous allowance for gas and electric included. The property is in an area of much beautiful views and is only a very short distance from all the great locations of North wales and Snowdonia National park. All in all a pleasurable stay and the owner was very nice and made sure we were comfortable.
