This Grade 2 holiday cottage is beautifully intimate and enchanting in its unique old world character. This is a charming detached conversion from the original old Farmhouse kitchen – a romantic hideaway. Central heating. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with shower room, a fully fitted kitchen and lounge/diner on the heavily beamed ground floor area with a large inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove. The original washing tub is built into the stonework adjacent to the fireplace. Logs are available for any chilly evenings.

Set in a rural location, Hayloft cottage is ideally placed for the many places of interest in North Somerset - including Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Street, Bristol, plus National Trust Sites, beaches and many countryside walks in the Mendip Hills that are right on the doorstep.
This holiday cottage adjoins the farmhouse courtyard. The Bakehouse is dog-free.

The ETHICUREAN does a great tasting menu (only) most nights – (book on 01934 863713) – Barley Wood Walled Garden, Long Lane, Wrington, BS40 5SA. We loved it here. Much of the meal is produced in their own extensive walled garden. (Book early). Check their web site to see if it suits you - www.thewalledgarden.co.uk and to check opening days/times. Allow 2.5-3 hours for the meal when busy. Around 7 miles.
