A lovely, detached stone cottage, swathed in wisteria and set in pretty gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Moorview Cottage is positioned just behind the friendly owner’s home, in lovely gardens, abundant with bird life. It has its own drive and private off road parking and is literally a short walk on to the wild, ruggedness of the open moorland. Cudlipptown is a tiny hamlet, on the outskirts of the village of Peter Tavy, just 4 miles from the historic market town of Tavistock. This cottage is a superb holiday home, warm and comfortable all year around, ideal for families and also for couples who want a tranquil peaceful location, lovely views and dark starry nights. If you’re the outdoor type, there are some fabulous walks and cycle routes in the area, as well as horse riding stables in the village of Mary Tavy. Tavistock is a lively town, with a fabulous indoor pannier market and a range of independent shops. Centrally located midway between the north and south coasts, making exploring the wider region easily accessible. Moorview is a popular cottage and you will find yourself returning time after time for week long holidays and cosy short breaks. Beach 18 miles. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 1 mile.
Ground floor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double (one 5ft), 1 twin. Shower room with toilet. First floor: Living room/dining area. Kitchen. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.
Oil central heating if required (£30 per week March-October), electricity, bed linen and towels included. Electric cooker. Microwave. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Small lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Natural water supply from bore hole. 1 Pet by arrangement £20.00 charge - to be kept under strict control or on a lead whilst at the property. No smoking. Please note: Maximum occupancy 5 guests.

Under Occupancy?
*Approximately 20% will be given when the cottage is occupied by only one or two people throughout the whole period booked This discount do not apply to short break bookings
Are you staying longer than a week?
•You can save an additional 5% when booking two or more consecutive weeks
Are you returning to us?
•If you stay with us more than once within a period of 2 years (twenty four months) we will give you a discount of 5% on your next and subsequent bookings
Low Season Short Breaks
Low season: 5th January 2023 - 27th March 2023 and 28th October 2023- 15th December 2023 (all dates are inclusive) Short breaks are available in low season only.
Your break can start on any day of the week, subject to availability. The minimum charge for any short break is £250 for up to 3 nights for two people each additional night will cost £50.00. When the cottage will be occupied by more than two people the cost of the cottage will increase to £300.00 for the first 3 nights plus £50.00 for each additional night.

Please note, these offers does not include short breaks No discount will be given off of the £20.00 charge if bringing your dog

OPTIONS HELD ETC
Options are taken in order that guests have time to send in the booking form and deposit, and on occasion this does not happen in which case the date may become available again, please enquiry if you are interested in any dates and I will let you know if they become available
CENTRAL HEATING
In low season heating is included in the prices stated. Throughout the summer months heating is available and will be charged at £25.00 per week or part thereof
PETS
We will normally accept and welcome one well behaved dog
A maximum 1 dogs only can be accepted and are subject to conditions of acceptance, please read conditions prior to making your booking.
Dogs are not to be left in cottage unattended at any time for any amount of time
Dogs are required to be under control or on a lead at all times whilst at Moorview
We kindly request that you clear up after your dog
We charge £20.00 week or part thereof
Our cottage is meant for holiday use, this does not include holding parties etc
Please note that by signing the booking form you are agreeing to our terms & conditions, if you are found to be abusing these rules they will be requested to leave the cottage and no refunds will be given
