Mid Week Break
By Katie Roache on 28-Oct-2020
We enjoyed a last minute mid-week break in Weavers Cottage. The booking process was incredibly easy, communication from Lisa and her team is fantastic and the interactive guest book was so helpful, allowing us to plan our stay and settle in quickly.
On arrival we were so impressed by the cottage, the history of the building is amazing and the setting/view is very scenic. The trans pennine trail is on the door step of the cottage so location is perfect if you enjoy walking. A good few pubs also in walking distance.
Very dog friendly

We stayed in Weaver Cottage the standard of the cottage was excellent. Very dog friendly with an enclosed smaller garden around the rear of the property next to the hottub, great walks right on the doorstep. We are already looking to book our next hottub stay and check out one of the other properties
In one word Weavers cottage is superb.

Lovely modern finish to the property whilst in keeping to its original charm. Well kept and filled with all the appliances needed for a home away from home experience. Jacuzzi was a lovely touch and well maintained throughout. Games room was also a definate selling point for us and set this accommodation apart from others we'd looked at. Easy booking from the off. Well informed throughout the process, with all the information we needed at hand. Arrival was warm and welcoming. Briefed on the maintenance of the property for the duration of our stay. Cateered for the varied age of our family/group in every way. We'll be booking in the near future!

Our family of 6 adults, a 3 month old baby and 2 Yorkshire Terriers stayed at Weaver's Cottage for a week in January. We had an amazing time. The cottage itself was fantastic and perfect for our needs. Everything seems well thought out so that your holiday is stress free. The games room and hot tub had lots of use during our stay. The cottage is ideally located for various walks and the town including a couple of pubs. Lisa was very friendly and more than happy to help. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely booking again.
