Description

Sandown is a spacious & comfortable upside down home with 4 ground floor bedrooms all with their own shower room en-suite and TV. The house sleeps 7 people (plus an infant in travel cot). There is a large comfortable and modern living space with a fully equipped kitchen and utility room on the 1st floor.

The huge comfortable lounge has lots of seating, a wall mounted Smart TV and many board games, cards, books, toys and lots of useful leaflets offering information about all the wonderful things to do and places to visit within the surrounding area.

On the same floor as the lounge is a beautiful dining room which comfortably seats a large family group plus a highchair for the little ones.

The house sleeps 7 people plus 1 infant (by request) . The bedroom arrangement is 4 ground floor bedrooms comprising of 3 x double guestrooms with en-suite shower rooms and a lovely single guestroom, also with an en-suite shower room. There is a travel cot available, you will just need to bring your own bedding.

The well equipped kitchen with utility/cloak/wash room has everything you will need to cook enjoyable family meals, including a double oven, hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer and separate fridge, bread maker, mixer, lots of pots and pans and of course a washing machine and dishwasher.

There is ample parking for 4 cars and a separate patio area with table, chairs and a BBQ.

We accept 1 well behaved family dog at no additional charge, However, do not allow dogs to be left in the house unattended (we are happy for a per crate to be used) nor for them to be allowed on the furniture or beds.

There is a £150 good housekeeping bond applied to invoices which is returnable within 2 days of departure.

A clean, well equipped and very comfortable holiday home

Well situated for visiting the local shops and cafes and easy walking to the lakeside. All en suite rooms was a bonus, even if on the small side. Would recommend this holiday home for family groups.

The house was excellent, spacious, plenty of parking, easy access to shops and facilities.

I'd have to write an essay to list all that was good about the accommodation and owner Georgie! The house was very comfortable, immaculate, with lots of lovely extra touches and very well equipped. Perfect location. fantastic host with excellent communication between us, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so welcome from booking through to (reluctantly) leaving this morning ..... I could go on and on and on, but I think you get the picture! Would highly recommend and will most definitely be returning ourselves

We had plenty of room and the home had everything we needed. Could not ask for a better location, On the main road of Windermere with a few minutes walk into the town and a lovely place to eat opposite. Brilliant communication with the owner and quick return of the housekeeping bond - Overall had a brilliant stay in Sandown and hope to come back soon! Thank you

Just back from a lovely holiday at Sandown so glad I found this holiday home for our family. The house is beautifully furnished and the kitchen so well equipped ,every room so clean and fresh . The location couldn’t have been better just a short stroll to restaurant s and shops . Would definitely recommend these holiday cottages ,and would definitely book again in the future .
