Second stay at vestry cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Super quiet location with a very nice village shop within a ten minute walk. Linda is a great hostess who left us a wonderful welcome package of treats and goodies. She is easily contactable and the cottage is always clean and welcoming. We have already booked again for 2025.
St Lawrence is a very pretty part of the IOW. Vestry Cottage more than matched it’s website description and was warm and cosy with a fairytale garden. The welcome pack was just beyond belief and we felt very guilty consuming it. We have stayed in many cottages during our long lives and this cottage rates up with the best of them. Thanks Linda for making us feel so welcome.
We recently spent a wonderful week at Vestry Cottage in St Lawrence. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean , quirky and so thoughtfully kitted out, with a real attention to detail. The garden is very pretty and as we were really lucky with the weather we were able to sit out in the afternoons and evenings. We received a fabulous welcome pack from Linda and David too. Vestry Cottage was ideal for our lively spaniel, with lovely walks from the front door and is a really good base to explore the island and all it has to offer. We will be back!
The cottage and garden are a delight, top class. If you've always dreamed of living in a chocolate box english country cottage look no further, this is it. You could stay here and live the dream without having to put in all the careful maintenance needed to keep it top notch. Amazing place. The welcome pack left for us was above and beyond expectation.
This was our first visit to the island and we had a brilliant week. We really loved Vestry Cottage, the very pretty garden and the location is stunning We were left a super welcome pack too. The cottage had everything we needed and more it was very well thought through. We would love to come back. Thank you.
What a gem of a cosy cottage in a wonderful location. A great spot tucked away, perfect for exploring and great walks. First trip to the IOW and perfect for our dog walks to Botanic Gardens and coastal path into Ventnor via Steephill - absolutely stunning! Great cottage with lots of character and charm made it feel very homely for our week here - had everything we needed, cooking, shower, comfy beds - slept like logs- all excellent. Thanks for the welcome Linda, the items were spot on and very generous. Going home now feeling very relaxed and recharged and great memories of the IOW.
