Description
Hello and thank you for viewing our Villa. Casa Margarita has been in my family for over 20 years and is a much loved family home. The house sits on a prominent headland position affording wonderful frontline sea views and offers a relaxing, private space to soak up the sun and swim in your own well maintained private swimming pool. A traditional Spanish white-washed villa with terracotta tiles, Casa Margarita offers clean, comfortable and well equipped accommodation. with air conditioning /heating in all major rooms and free WiFi.If you are looking to relax and soak up the sun the villa offers space to do exactly that. The child-friendly, enclosed swimming pool is exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay. A large decked area with sun loungers and shady parasols is perfect for day long sun bathing and gazing out to sea. There is an outdoor kitchen with a brick barbecue to enjoy alfresco dining.
Casa Margarita is a short drive from the delightful small town of Salobreña and the more bustling town of Almunecar . The house sits on the edge of a quiet urbanisation. There is a tennis court and communal pool a short stroll from the villa, should you wish to use them. There is space for parking your car and the villa is accessed through an iron gate and down 5 wide steps.
There are two bedrooms within the main house and just outside the front door (approx 2 metres) is a further bedroom, 'the Round Room.' beside the pool. All bedrooms have Air-Conditioning / Heating , freshly laundered cotton sheets and plenty of towels. We also provide beach towels for use by the pool . There are fitted wardrobes, plenty or drawers, bedside lamps and a hair dryer in each room. All the windows are fitted with fly netting for your comfort. All mattresses are memory foam with a varied selection of pillows. Something to suit all preferences.
The spacious living area adjoins the open-plan kitchen and dining area.There is a large rattan settee and chairs to relax on and a large flat screen television. There are also plenty of books and children's toys for you to borrow during your stay.
The family bathroom has a bath and separate shower, sink unit and WC. The water is heated by solar panels making use of the amazing weather! You will find everything you need in the kitchen if you wish to stay in and cook. There are all the usual appliances, a microwave and dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer, plenty of pans, cutlery and crockery, tea towels and glassware.

Stunning views, amazing villa
By Catherine and Sean Lambe on 31-Jul-2026Wow! What an amazing view, and lucky us we were there for the eclipse. Villa has a gorgeous pool with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the wonderful sea view. We spent very little time inside the villa but the aircon was great when we did. Villa inside is a little dated but this just adds to it's chilled family vibe. Car definitely needed to get to Almunicar and Salobrena, which both offer lots to do (10min drive either way) and if you need bigger shops Motril is a little further on . Beaches are well worth a visit and are scattered all along the coast. Water shoes are needed as beaches tend to be quite stony. Amelia was great to deal with and booking was simple. Chris (pool man also very knowledgeable in regards to the local area and he will answer any questions you may have. My advice is to bring a pair of binoculars with you for the sea view and a visit to the Nerja caves is a must for a half a day out. Communal pool and tennis court also available for use. Enjoy😎
Pleasant Villa
By Ian on 05-Apr-2026My wife and I stayed at the villa in April 2026. Whilst the villa is not modern in its build it has all the necessary things to make an enjoyable holiday. The separate 3rd bedroom and ensuite is very useful if you go as two couples or with noisy teenagers as it is separate from the main house. The privacy of the villa is excellent both from a pool perspective and eating out looking over the sea as the villa is located 100 yards from the sea in an elevated position. You do get noise from the traffic on the main road to Salobrena but the only time it was evident was during the morning when people were going to work. It is very convenient for visiting local attractions and towns/cities, whilst Granada (a must) is only 40 mins away. On a star rating rating I would give 4 out of 5 but regarding the question would I stay there again?, would be YES.
Amazing Spanish Villa!

From the moment we opened the gate to the property and saw the pool with the stunning sea view, we knew we had made a good choice with our booking! The property had everything we needed and more! From daily outdoor BBQ's, to lounging next to the pool, it had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. If staying here, a car is a must, as shops and restaurants are a 10 min drive away. We booked a taxi to the two local towns (Salobreña and Almuñécar) which was cheap and easy to do. We highly recommend dinner at Casa Emilio in Salobreña. Chris and Amelia were both incredibly helpful with information and really quick to respond to any queries we had. We will definitely be booking again as soon as we can and can't wait to go back!!
Stunning sea view Villa

The most jaw-dropping views we ever had in a villa. We are going again next year!
By Fred & Elaine on 08-Jul-2023We have been holidaying in private villas in Spain for many years. Casa Margherita has, hands down, the most incredible sea views we've ever come across. Truly stunning. There's only the road between the villa and the sea. The swimming pool is a good size, and there is an outdoor shower by it, which is lovely if you want to wash the chlorine off before sunbathing again. There are plenty of tables outside where you can sit and read, play games, eat, etc. We used the double room in the main house, and the 'round room' on the swimming pool level. Both were comfortable and spacious. The open plan kitchen and living room also offer plenty of space if you like to cook (we just had cold food as it was too hot to cook) and retreat indoors to enjoy the A/C during the hottest hours of the day. The towns of Salobrena and Motril are 20 minutes away tops and nice if you fancy going out for dinner. On Friday we also went to a local market (can't remember the name of the town but Google will find it for you) and that was GREAT fun! We are going back next year for two separate weeks.

By David on 25-Apr-2023We had a great time at the Villa. It was clean & well equipped. You will need 1 or 2 euro coins if you want to use the air con. Best to take these with you if you can. If you want to make use of the English TV channels you will need your own log in details for bbc i player/ Disney apps. You will need a car to get about but it’s a short journey to Salobrena or Almuñécar (you can see both coast lines from the villa, it’s a great vantage point!) and only a bit further to visit Motril so a great location. Would stay again!
