Overview
Description
Villa Cascada is an 8 bedroom luxury villa with everything you need closeby - a supermarket is 250 metres, and the nearest restaurants and bars are a 5 to 10 minutes stroll. Chill by the poolside Tiki bar, with swim-up seating within the bubbling spa/splash pool. This villa was completely renovated in 2020, and further in early 2025, and is decorated in a Ibiza/Mexican style - think “Ibiza Cool” but without the compromise on comfort. This is an amazing villa for families or large groups of friends. With a large outside table enabling everyone to dine together at the same time, plus a Summer Kitchen with large gas BBQ, pizza oven, and more. There’s even a large 4K TV here - so you can watch sports outside in the shade.
Each of the 8 bedrooms has a bathroom - either as an en-suite, or adjacent. All 4 of the master bedrooms are en-suite (and also a further twin). All twin bedrooms can also be made into Super-King size doubles - meaning fantastic versatility for your group!
Villa Cascada is a 20-minute walk to Ambolo bay in Javea, voted one of the Top 50 Beaches in the World, and the other local beaches close by - with the Granadella beach accessible by the free tourist bus (summer), and the large Arenal beachfront just a short drive/taxi ride.

There are 17 luxury sun loungers for all guests - and the pool area boasts a swim-up Tiki bar with chilled beer on tap, and a fridge to stock with fizz, wine and soft drinks. Next to the main pool is the bubbling spa which can also be heated (as can the main pool). It also makes a perfect shallow splash pool for young children. A waterfall cascades into the swimming pool (and this is where the name 'Villa Cascada' comes from), and rock speakers play your favourite tunes as you relax poolside. And when relaxing gets too much - play pool with our professional outdoor pool table.
A playroom is just off the full-spec kitchen, which has a large American fridge freezer complete with ice and filtered water, 2 ovens, dishwasher etc. The location of the play/chill zone allows for another space for children or teens to play on the Xbox, watch TV, or get busy with the Lego or other toys. Outside, there's a boules/petanque court and a children's play area, plus a giant Connect 4. There's air conditioning in all bedrooms and living room, TV's in all bedrooms (with Disney+, Netflix, Freesat and/or Now TV), the full Sky TV channels in the living room, and Amazon Echo units around the house. There’s superfast 600MB fibre WiFi throughout the villa, even by the pool.

Excellent!
By Carolyn Jay on 04-Sep-2026We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Cascada. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Brett helped us organise airport transfers and car hire as some of us were happy to drive. He also booked some of his recommended restaurants for us. We could definitely see why they were recommended and it was great to know that as such a large party we had our table guaranteed. The villa itself was perfect for a group like ours. A lot of thought has clearly been put into making sure that there are spaces where we could all sit together, but also places where we could spend time apart if we wanted - even the bedrooms are nicely spaced out to suit a few families staying together but not feeling on top of each other . The pool kept the kids happy, the swim up bar and beer tap kept the chaps happy and all the sun-beds and private chef kept the girls happy. What more could you ask for? We’d have given 10* if we could and we have already booked our next stay.
Perfect venue for a group of 15
By Julie Mackenzie on 29-Aug-2026We booked for a large gathering of extended family, for a long weekend at Villa Cascada. Everything went smoothly, and Brett helped arrange other things such as restaurant bookings, airport transfers, supermarket delivery and even a chef one night. The villa itself is set up for such a large group of 15 like ours. Each couple had their own bathroom, and there was plenty of seating places inside and out for everyone together, or time alone. A perfect stay and definitely on our 'return list'!!
What a lovely family holiday making memories. We arrived at the villa and it was beautiful.
By Gemma Hatton on 22-Aug-2026The bar and beer keg was a fabulous extra which we all enjoyed. We ate and went for drinks at the local restaurants which were lovely and very welcoming. The supermarket was fab and only a short walk. We had a food shop delivered to the villa for when we arrived which was perfect. Brett was the perfect host, he was in constant contact from as soon as we booked offering advice, recommendations and just generally checking everything was ok. We had a storm while we were there and Brett saw the hot tub temp had dropped and emailed to say he had turned the temperature up for us so it was lovely and warm, which was very much appreciated. We spent the day at Arenal beach and did some water sports, we got a taxi it was about 10 minutes away, there’s lots of bars and restaurants and shops. We also used the road train and we went to javea port and the old town which were both gorgeous. We wished we had booked 2 weeks and we are already recommending Villa Cascada to all our friends!
Villa Cascada (August 2026)
By Dave Hills on 15-Aug-2026We had a really great week at Villa Cascada. Everyone enjoyed the pool and outside dining areas, we made use of both the BBQ and pizza oven, and congregated on the verandah most evenings until late.
Great villa and location.
By Eddie Simmons on 08-Aug-2026Right by the edge of the coast is this great villa. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and everything that you need at the villa itself. Air con in every room (can change each room temperature settings too - as between the 16 of us, some like it colder, some like it warmer!). Bar area and outdoor dining/kitchen also great. Helpful advice and recommendations from the owner Bret to prepare for our stay, and great communication during and after our stay, he even went the extra mile to get us booked into restaurants in the busy August month. Highly recommend Villa Cascada to all.
Not as great as we had hoped
By Steve Clemson on 01-Aug-2026My family and I, aged between 10 and 84, stayed at Villa Cascada for a week in July. The initial booking process with Brett was straightforward, communication was clear, and all the available extras were explained to us. We opted for the beer for the outside bar and Jim the chef, both of which were excellent. Unfortunately, the experience once we arrived was not quite what we had hoped for. I started to have concerns the week before our holiday when we received the House Rules email, which contained no fewer than 19 rules that guests are expected to follow. Many of these were sensible and perfectly understandable, but some felt unnecessarily detailed for a group of adults on holiday. One example was the instruction not to bring our own portable speakers because Alexa devices are provided inside and outside. The explanation went into considerable detail about the volume limitations and why we shouldn't bring our own device. There were also rules about not playing music inside the house after 11pm, no ball games in the pool, and various other restrictions. Individually, none of these are particularly unreasonable, but taken together with the frequent reminders throughout the week, they created a feeling that we were being monitored rather than simply left to enjoy our holiday. On arrival, we were given the code for the key safe and told that it would not work until 4pm. We arrived at approximately 3:50pm and, despite being paying guests who had travelled to get there, had to wait outside in the heat for 10 minutes. This seemed unnecessarily inflexible, particularly if the cleaners had already finished. There was also some inconsistency around the cleaning arrangements. The House Rules stated that cleaners would only be outside on the day of our departure, yet during our stay they arrived before 8am and entered the house. I also contacted Brett on our first day because there was no safe at the property. The response I received was rather sa

This is odd - as your previous emails were that you had a very enjoyable stay at our villa. There is no restrictions on music inside the villa, only outside after 11pm. This is due to local town regulations which we inform guests about. Of course we do allow pool games but ask guests not to use hard balls, just soft inflatables. Unfortunately the keysafe is basically a 'computer' and does not release house keys early - but you were still able to chill by the pool for the 5 minutes you had to wait. We still feel this is better than guests having to pick up the keys from an office, or waiting for someone to greet you. Yes we do send guests emails during their stay - only with tips and advice with how to use things, where local amenities are and everything to get the most out of their holiday. Most guests really appreciate them, as our other reviews testify. On your departure day the cleaners arrived at the time you were all collected by minibus to go to the airport (7.45am) as arranged with you.
