Perched high on the breathtaking cliffs of Cap de la Nau, Macarius is a stylish, architect-designed villa with uninterrupted Mediterranean views and glimpses of Ibiza on the clear horizon. Set in a quiet, exclusive residential area, this is a property for those who want to relax in real style — think open-plan living, sun terraces, and a pool that seems to merge with the sea beyond.
The villa is arranged over three light-filled floors. The ground floor is a beautiful open-plan space for kitchen, dining and living, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors blurring the line between indoors and out. Downstairs, a cool and relaxed lower ground floor offers a double bedroom, a twin room, a family bathroom, a games area, a laundry room and a snug lounge — plus a unique underwater window looking straight into the pool, a favourite spot to escape the afternoon heat. Upstairs, two further double bedrooms both have their own ensuite, dressing room, and private balcony, each with its own sweeping sea view.
Outside there's a secluded garden behind an electric security gate, sun terraces around the pool with loungers for 8, a BBQ area, and a double garage with parking for up to three cars.
Just 2.5 miles from the historic old town of Xàbia and the lively beachfront of Playa del Arenal, you're perfectly placed to explore the winding streets of the old quarter, dine at authentic Spanish tavernas, and enjoy the harbour, art route and scenic viewpoints this designated area of outstanding natural beauty is known for. There's kayaking, scuba diving, cave exploration and boat hire along the coast, excellent local supermarkets for easy self-catering, and Valencia makes a great day trip if you want to venture further. A car is recommended for your stay.
All bedding and towels are included (beach towels available on request), along with wifi, air-conditioning, digital TV and regular pool cleaning. The villa comfortably sleeps 8, with dining for 8.
Please note: the villa is best suited to families with older children/teens or groups of friends, as the clifftop terrace and pool do not have a childproof safety fence. The entrance path has steps without a handrail, so sturdy footwear is advised. The glass balustrade along the cliff edge meets a high safety standard, but must never be climbed.
