Description
THE USE OF A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSABLE VEHICLE FOR YOUR STAY IS £550 PER WEEK 0R £650 FOR THE LARGER VANThoughtfully designed by Karen C/5 the villa is totally accommodating for six people including two wheelchair users in comfort.
The master bedroom has 2 hi low care beds and pressure relieving mattress. There are two twin bedrooms and one double There are two bathrooms both of which have a wheel in shower (1 also has a rain shower) and handrails where necessary. There is Sky TV, DVD hi-fi everything you would expect in your home away from home. There are 2 electrically operated beds, and ceiling track hoist system, there IS AIR CONDITIONING available in every room and also FANS
The van with wheelchair lift as shown above can be included with the villa with prior notice. The van can accommodate 99% of wheelchairs ( I say 99 but have never had any problems) and has a track on the floor for fixing wheelchairs. The van is a manual not an automatic.

Location
The villa is situated 12km from Torrevieja twenty minutes from the centre and beaches, which are all totally accessible with man made lagoons which are all ramped. The promenade stretches for miles and it is nice easy push for wheelchairs. Also 5 minutes away and totally accessible are plenty of shops etc. There is also a fresh water lagoon, which is favourite with bird watchers.
Quesada, which is next door to Atalaya Park, has shops, Banks, Bars Restaurants, Aqua Park, petrol station, doctor’s surgery and a dentist. Everything you could ever need!
About an hours drive away is Benidorm and all the facilities in Benidorm are wheelchair friendly so there’s no need to worry about getting around. Carrefoure hypermarket is no longer then five minutes away.

There are a number of Golf courses around Torrevieja, which with 320 days of sunshine a year is said by the world health organization to have the healthiest climate in Europe.
The disabled beach is 15 mins away by car and has disabled toilets showers free sunbeds and on certain days red cross volunteers are there to take you in to the sea in special aqua-chairs.
The 40ft swimming pool and jacuzzi (there are 2) is accessible by platypus pool chair via a ramp and handrails this and the gardens are all enclosed and private. The gardens are also planted with a number of tropical plants.THE USE OF A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSABLE VAN WITH YOUR BOOKING FOR THE WEEK IS £550 OR 650 DEPENDENT ON LARGE OR SMALL VAN a returnable damage deposit of £300 per stay is payable with final balance please be aware any full week of late payment over the 6 weeks limit is subject to a late payment charge of £25 PW

Lovely villa
By Gemma on 28-Jun-2025The villa was lovely and met my needs as a wheelchair user. In particular the profiling bed which was very comfortable. Also the pool hoist was brilliant for getting in and out of the pool. Also having someone to call on at any time was an added bonus.
Lovely family holiday
By Vicky B on 15-Jun-2016We have just retuned from our 2nd stay at this beautiful villa and we were lucky enough to be there for three weeks. Since our last stay back in May 2015 there have been improvements made and I would say the jacuzzi hot tub with hoist is definitely the best. This holiday we were able to visit the water park which is only a twenty minute walk from the villa, it is a great place for both kids and adults and is very clean and friendly, we enjoyed it so much we went there three times during our stay. I would definitely recommend this holiday rental to anyone with a disability as it has everything you need and more.
