Golf
Villa Una Maria is a golfers dream, ideally located close to a wide variety of golf courses including many world famous golfing destinations. The Torrequebrada Golf Club is just five minutes drive from the Villa and there are about forty other golf courses within a thirty to forty minute drive. These include La Cala, Valderrama (host to the Ryder Cup in 1997), Alhaurin and Mijas to name but a few. Golf trips and associated arrangements can easily be arranged, as required.

An amazing stay near several beaches, supermarkets and bars
By Maiara Munhoz on 18-May-2026We booked this house in Malaga to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. We were a party of 14 people, including one 5-year-old. Communication with Gerard was great from the beginning (through WhatsApp) - he was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed regarding the house, location, price, payment terms, check in, etc. Upon arrival, my uncle and his daughter arrived quite early (around 8 AM), and the house was already available to them (even though check in was only at 3 PM). They left some cold beers in the fridge for us, which was a really nice touch. The house was perfect for us - it was two fully equipped houses beside one another, with a common garden and pool. All rooms have air conditioning, and we really loved the house's layout (including the bathrooms). The way the rooms were divided was perfect for our group, giving everyone their own space. The house was about a 10min walk to the nearest beach, but then if you continue walking to either side, there are thousands of other beautiful beaches, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. We were there from May 18-24, and the weather was incredible. There is a washing machine in both houses, as well as clotheslines. There are also two barbecue grills. We had an amazing, unforgettable time and would easily come back. I 100% recommend this place and Gerard!

well maintained villa
By Paul on 06-Jun-2026Ideal sized villa for larger groups there was 11 of us so plenty of room. Nice pool for when we returned from hot days golfing. Good location roughly 10 minutes walk to large supermarket and selection of bars and restaurants. recommend Cherrys bar for friendly bar staff etc. Good communication from Gerard so everything went smoothly.
Terrific family holiday at Villa Una Maria
By Karen McBride on 25-May-2026We stayed in Villa Una Maria from 25th May for a week. We were a group of 17 people ranging from aged 4 to 90! The villa provided very spacious accommodation for everyone with lots of options both indoors and out for people to suit themselves for relaxing and spending time together. The games rooms were great at night if we didn't want to go out after dinner. The pool was a great size, surround by lots of loungers, with plenty of shade available in the garden area. The terraces provided lots of seating areas, as well as two large tables for sitting around or for eating. The barbecues gave us options for cooking dinner outside and the kitchens were very well equipped with everything you would need for such a large party. Dishwashers and washing machines were also a boon. With a young child in our party the provision of strollers was a great help. The villa is in a very quiet urbanisation and traffic is very light, so it felt safe and secure. The local shops are down the road - which is a very steep hill, so sometimes a taxi was needed to get back up! Restaurants, a bigger supermarket and the beach are not too far away and local buses go to Fuengirola and Torremolinos if you want to got a bit further. Communication with Gerard, the owner, was answered quickly and Lee - the caretaker on site, was helpful too. We loved our time at Villa Maria and we will definitely come back.

Great Villa for a large group

Four families with 9 kids aged 4 to 14 who were kept entertained with the pool table and tennis table. Lee was fantastic and helped with any issue we had, great guy! Always got a quick and helpful response from Gerard. We will definitely return and we have recommended this villa to family & friends. Just a little FYI, the mosquitoes were pretty bad the week we went, not sure if it’s usual for this area or not. There were plugs etc in the villa but we all got bitten lots.

A Perfect Villa
By Dawn H on 06-Jun-2025A perfect Villa 🫶 The villa was so prefect for our stay! We were a group of 4 families…and the layout was great! The pool and garden area was where we spent most time and it was well equipped for the children. Plenty of loungers and two BBQs to use too which was great when dining in. Two large tables and plenty of chairs provided too. Inside the villa the kitchen had everything we needed and nice additional touches like tin foil, dishwasher tablets etc. The villa was spotlessly clean and couldn’t fault it. Location great as the supermarket a few mins walk away and the beach close by too. My favourite local cafe to visit was Meeting Point. Before coming, Gerard, the owner, answered any queries really quickly and helpfully. During our stay the caretaker, Lee, managed the property and was great. Hoping to return next year. Thanks so much.
