About Your Hosts
Nick (UK) and Manou (France/NY) fell in love with Frigiliana and made La Quinta their home in 2018. Passionate about art, nature, travel, and creating a relaxed welcoming environment, they enjoy meeting new people and many guests return year after year. Nick is a ceramicist with a small studio on the property, and Manou is a nature and underwater photography enthusiast. They live on-site, are avid gardeners, friendly, discreet, with deep local knowledge, and are always available if needed.

Beautiful little gem
By Eleanor & David on 17-Jul-2026Can’t recommend La Quinta Frigiliana enough. We had such a beautiful and relaxing stay with our son. The villa is just perfect. Everything you could possibly need is there, and no expense has been spared in making your holiday enjoyable. A huge thank you to Nick and Manou, who are so friendly and helpful. We did pottery halfway through our stay and had such a great day, it was really fun and a lovely addition to the holiday. Frigiliana is a small town with great restaurants and shops, lots of steps but worth the visit to the top. So, thank you Nick and Manou. We will return! It genuinely knocks spots off other villas we’ve stayed in❤️
Best Stay we’ve ever had

They met us on arrival and showed us around the property, they were amazing with our children! The property is incredible, the pool is perfect and the views are something else. It has everything you could think of that you need especially in the kitchen, we did a shop on the way from the airport and ended up with double of a lot as there were already vast supplies in the villa when we arrived. The location is brilliant, Frigiliana is by far the most stunning town we’ve ever been to in Europe and very easy 10 minute drive into Nerja for Burriana beach which is a great beach, plenty of parking, restaurants, bars etc Our stay couldn’t have been better, perfect property and absolutely fantastic hosts! It feels like a home from home. Cannot recommend this villa enough, we will 100% be back!

The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with incredible views and a real sense of privacy. It’s very well equipped with amenities, including thoughtful extras in the kitchen like a wide selection of condiments, oils and vinegars. One of the highlights of our stay was Nick kindly running a pottery class for us. He was incredibly patient, especially with the children, and was one of the highlights of the holiday. The location is excellent, with plenty to do both for families and adults-only trips, although a car is definitely recommended to make the most of the area. Nick and Manu were always available if needed and gave great recommendations, but at the same time we barely noticed them living above us — the sense of privacy was complete. We would absolutely return without hesitation. Thank you Nick and Manu. We hope to see you again very soon!x

The outdoor area is just the best. The views are incredible. Every meal was out on the terrace, the kids loved the pool and exploring in the garden. Nick and Manou are excellent hosts nothing is too much trouble. When in the area we love Burriana beach ( great for families), Torrox Costa.

We were really appreciative of their offer to buy us groceries due to us arriving on a Sunday. The villa spotless and well equipped. We will be sure to recommend to others!

By Regine S. on 29-May-2026A fantastic place to stay with everything you need and more. Salt, pepper, spices – everything you need to get started without having to buy large quantities separately. Everything was fresh and not leftovers from the last three years. Simply wonderful service! As a welcome gesture, there was wine, bread, and cheese, as well as a small starter kit for the first day. A spacious accommodation with many nooks and crannies, and incredibly cozy. The view: breathtaking! The entire property is very well-maintained! Frigiliana is only about 2 km away and well worth a visit, especially in the evening when the "tourists" ;-) have already left. There's something new to see in every alleyway; you can sit for a few minutes with a beer or wine, or shop in small boutiques that don't just offer the usual trinkets, but also local products and specialties. And last but not least, the hosts: those who want to can cultivate closer relationships, while those who simply want to relax can enjoy peace and quiet. Emanuelle and Nick were the best hosts you could wish for! We would like to sincerely thank both of them for a wonderful end to our stay in Andalusia!
