This delightful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom detached villa is a 5 minutes' walk from the promenade with shops, bars, restaurants and the wonderful Playa Pocillos Beach. The start of the main Strip of Puerto del Carmen which also has a great choice of places to eat and drink is a 15 minutes' walk away. The Playa Grande Beach is a 5 minute taxi ride away. From the initial booking right through to the final payment, everything was incredibly easy and well organised. kids 11 &16. In the days before our arrival, we received a very detailed and informative email with everything we needed to ensure a smooth arrival. It included clear instructions for accessing the villa, along with useful local information about shops, taxis, things to do and getting around the area. We met Nina and Nathan the following day to complete the passport form, which was another quick and easy process, as most of the required information had already been requested before our arrival. Nina and Nathan are genuinely two of the best hosts we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Their knowledge of the local area, including how to get around, where to food shop, places to visit and things to do, was exceptional. The location of the villa is fantastic. It is situated in a lovely, very quiet area, which made it perfect for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep, while still being close to everything you need. The nearest shop and restaurant are only around a five-minute walk away. The main strip is also less than a 15-minute walk from the villa, with the route taking you towards the area around Spoons Restaurant, where you'll find a great selection of bars, restaurants and entertainment. The villa is also within walking distance of one of Lanzarote's main attractions, Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park, or it is just a three-minute taxi ride away, making it incredibly convenient for families. Another huge advantage is the villa's proximity to Lanzarote Airport, which is only around a 10-minute taxi journey away. This made both the start and end of our holiday incredibly convenient, with very little travel time after landing or before our flight home. By Joanne Davies on 29-Jun-2026Casa del Rio June 2026 We recently stayed in Casa del Rio for the second time . The villa is beautiful, very clean, & so very well equipped for your stay. The outdoor space is amazing. You get a lovely welcome pack , so no need to rush out to the supermarket. It’s in Los Pocillos very close to the end of Puerto del Carmen, so it’s nice & quiet. But bars & restaurants are within easy walking distance. We like that we can easily walk to Matagorda & Puerto del Carmen. Nina & Nathan go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect& cannot do enough for you . Great communication from booking your villa and leading upto your arrival and during your stay. They’re such a lovely couple, they make the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Thanks for being such a fabulous company and making our holidays feel so special. Joanne & Andrew
