Description
CASAS DEL SOL 27A , called Casa del Barco, is a large villa on the popular complex of Casas del Sol. As the owner has changed in May 2026, the villa has been recently modernised with new furniture, updated kitchen and bedrooms with new mattresses. Retro feel with SMEG toaster, kettle and fridge freezer, air-conditioning. The villa is in an enviable position, away from the noise of the road and ferry, but still with a slight view of the sea, perfect for relaxing, but with the ability to walk easily to all the amenities Playa Blanca has to offer.A large double bedroom and a large twin bedroom make this villa perfect for 4 people to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the bungalow. There is a dishwasher, wifi, aircon, a kitchen with granite worktops and a comfortable lounge area with 40" SMART TV to watch international & UK TV channels, series, and films on demand. (Included, for free).
The villa is in our favourite part of the complex, allowing a lot of privacy.
There is an enormous, very private terrace with built-in barbeque and top quality furniture plus lots of space in the sun and shade, with retractable wind breaks for use when necessary. The garden of the villa has beautiful, colourful bougainvillea and cactus which give it a tropical feel. The 2 tennis courts, (charged per hour on site), communal heated swimming pool and the beautiful gardens of the complex, as well as its location 2 minutes walk from the village with all its restaurants, bars and shops and closeness to beaches add to this.
As the name suggests, the villa ‚Casa del barco’ has a nautical theme. That’s why the previous owner was passionate about building model boats and he left some in the villa for us to enjoy.
Since May 2026 I took over Casa del Barco (The Boat House) from the Livingstone family. As me and my family spent many holidays in Lanzarote and it has truly become my second home - this is a heartfelt project for me. I am looking forward to welcoming you in Casas del Barco.
Please note , any deposit is non-refundable, as it is a commitment to the booking and all clients should take holiday insurance to cover any possibility of not being able to honour the booking.

A little bit of heaven for two weeks
By H. Rowlands on 07-Oct-2026A beautifully located villa which is beautifully presented. We had everything we needed. We needed to unwind, relax and restore ourselves and Casas del Barco did this and more. It was very relaxing and surrounded by beautiful gardens and patio. We loved it so much, we have asked to go back again next year. The staff in reception were very friendly and very helpful. The owner responded quickly to communications and is very helpful. The complex is situated near to supermarket, bars and restaurants and the nearest beach is a 10 minute walk away. We highly recommend this villa.
A brilliant to stay

Wonderful bungalow in fantastic setting, peaceful

Great two bedroomed villa in Playa Blanca
By Steve S. on 19-Sep-2016Perfectly situated near supermarkets and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet, the villa at Casa Del Sol offered everything we wanted from our stay in Lanzarote. Well equipped, nicely laid out and with a private outdoor area for sunbathing, BBQing and eating, Di and Brian have thought of everything - even providing a section of books, wifi and a TV packed with films. It's the property location that is the real winner though, with Casa Del Sol being a beautifully maintained resort with the friendly and helpful staff being on hand to assist with any eventuality. Highly recommended!
