With the beautiful sands of both Playa Blanca and Dorada Beach just a 15 minute stroll away as well as fantastic shopping, bars and restaurants nearby, this is the ideal villa choice if you don’t wish to hire a car on holiday. Guests can benefit from a new Aldi supermarket within a 10 minute walk.Inside you’ll find 3 bedrooms, with a double room featuring an ensuite as well as 2 twin rooms and an additional family bathroom – making Casa Dolores the perfect choice for families. And thanks to the coin operated air conditioning, everyone is guaranteed a comfortable night’s sleep.
Traditionally furnished throughout, the villa features all the essentials. The open-plan lounge and dining area is ideal for family nights in – with a flatscreen TV and a selection of English channels, while the fully-equipped kitchen makes easy work of meals.
Casa Dolores is a bright and stylish three-bedroom villa in the popular Costa Papagayo area of Playa Blanca. Recently refurbished throughout, the villa combines fresh, modern interiors with an excellent outdoor space featuring a private heated pool and sunken Jacuzzi.
Arranged on one level, the villa has a light and spacious living area with a large sofa, TV and patio doors opening directly onto the covered terrace and pool area. Air conditioning (coin operated) is available in the lounge.
The newly fitted kitchen is bright and modern, with a dining area for informal meals and direct access to the terrace.
Casa Dolores has three bedrooms, comprising one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, accommodating up to six guests. The double bedroom opens directly onto the terrace and Jacuzzi area and has its own shower room. A further modern shower room serves the remaining bedrooms. Air conditioning (coin operated) is available in the bedrooms.
The outdoor area is a real highlight of Casa Dolores. Leading directly from the living area is a spacious, shaded terrace with outdoor dining for six and a purpose-built Canarian-style barbecue. Overlooking the pool, there is also a separate outdoor seating area.
Beyond the covered terrace is the Private Heated Pool, measuring 6m x 4m with a depth of 1.25m, surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with plenty of room for sunbathing and views towards the surrounding mountains.
The sunken Jacuzzi provides another great addition to the terrace, while attractive planting and volcanic stone features complete the outdoor space.

Aldi is a 10 min walk from the villa and about 15 min walk is the beach
By Jenna on 03-Jun-2025Just returned from a week at Casa Dolores in playa blanca can't fault the villa was clean and spacious for a family of 5 plenty of towels provided and also pool towels. Pool and hot tub were checked/cleaned twice in the week. Aldi is a 10 min walk from the villa and about 15 min walk is the beach and front with restaurants. welcome pack for when we arrived was a lovely touch, would highly recommend optima villas and would booked again with them.

The most relaxing holiday we've ever had
By Ben on 20-Aug-2025I have just returned from a 7 night stay at Casa Dolores in Playa Blanca, family of 5 with 3 young children. Having always used all inclusive resorts, I was a little unsure how a self catering villa would compare. But this was the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. The villa was exactly as advertised. The instructions for arrival (how to get the electric gate fob, house keys etc) were very simple and clear. The swimming pool was heated and a perfect size. The hot tub was excellent. The location was very peaceful. You could probably get away without hiring a car if you don’t need much shopping from Aldi or Lidl. Aldi is about a 15 minute walk and the beach front is also about a 15 minute walk. But as the villa has its own parking, a car was very useful. By car, the supermarkets are 2 minutes away. Papagayo beach was about a 20 minute drive away, of which 17 minutes of this is just pure off roading but definitely worth it. All queries to Optima were answered in a matter of minutes. 10/10 holiday.
Everything perfect
By Stefania on 10-Oct-2025The house was exactly like the photos. When we arrived there was a much appreciated gift. It had everything you need for the holiday, including games for children... Excellent services, the outside was the must of the holiday, swimming pool and hydro an added value. Excellent location both for touring the island and for going to the center, 4 minutes by car or with a nice walk of about 20/25 minutes. Everything perfect.
