Description
Casa Kathryn is our beautiful villa in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. It has a private pool and views of the mountains and the sea.We have three double bedrooms, set up as two double bedrooms and a twin room. The twin room doubles as a study and has a desk and comfortable office chair (ideal for the digital nomad!). The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.

A car is not necessary as as it's a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, 6 minute walk to two supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants, and 20 minutes along the stunning coastal path to the marina, with its shops, markets, bars, restaurants and nightlife.
There is heated swimming pool, fast WiFi, multi-language TV package including films and sports and a selection of games and books.
There is a well equipped kitchen, large garden with outside BBQ, sun loungers, inside and outside dining areas and off-street parking.
We have a washing machine, fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, iron and ironing board. There is also a toaster, kettle, coffee maker and hair dryer.
You will get towels (including for the sunbed) and linen that are replaced every 7 days, and a weekly maid clean (for stays over 12 nights).
The rental includes a welcome pack, and if you need it cot, high chair and stair gate.
Suitability: Children are welcome, but you will need to be vigilant around the pool and spiral stairs. Sorry but non-smoking only, no pets, or hen / stag or similar parties. Due to our spiral staircase and lack of downstairs bedroom / shower, the apartment is wheelchair inaccessible. Our rental license (VV) only allows for 4 people staying (children under 1 don't count).

Great facilities and excellent location
By Imran and Elaine Devji on 04-Jul-2026We stayed at Casa Kathryn for 10 nights. The villa has excellent facilities with very responsive owners and facilities management team. The location is great with good restaurants within 8 minutes walking, the supermarket is 4 min walk and the marina 20 minutes walking distance along the coastal path. 4 minutes walk to the local supermarket and food co (Waitrose and Iceland products). There’s also a really good Indian restaurant, lounge bar and Antonio’s cafe (open till 10pm). Other bars and restaurants 8 minutes walk. Main bus stop outside to the main playa Blanca town centre. We will make this our regular visit. Thank you to Jane, Ashley, Brett and Jodie for making it a memorable stay for us as a family.
Great place to stay

Owners are very friendly and reply promptly to all messages. 30 mins drive to get to the villa from the airport. instructions to obtain keys were easy to follow. Location is great. 5 min walk to the shops and a few bars. 20 min walk along the coast to the marina. Car is not required. Villa was tidy and had all the amenities needed. Air conditioning in the bedrooms worked too well and was left off most nights! Really good value for money. Will definitely be booking again.
Lovely location
By Clare on 27-Mar-2026We had a lovely stay at Casa Kathryn. The villa had everything we needed. It’s in a great location with beautiful views. You have a supermarket just up the road which had everything we needed for breakfast, lunch and the odd BBQ. Within about a 15min coastal walk you are at the marina which has plenty of places to eat with beautiful views. If you keep going you reach more restaurants and shops. Lots to explore. Two of our party are active and enjoy walking and exploring and from the villa they walked to the coves and one day walked to and up Montana Roja Volcano.

Perfect Lanzarote Villa

The villa had everything we needed: well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, superb showers, excellent swimming pool; plus, a perfect location, close to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, the beach and the bus stop. The outside garden area is very spacious, with terrific views of the mountains and the coast. The booking process with the owners was very easy and straightforward, and we would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you very much.
