Lovely villa
By Kirsty H on 22-Sep-2026Lovely villa in quiet area with everything you need for a relaxing break. Supermarket on your doorstep and only a 20 minute leisurely walk to Marina Rubicon. We'll definitely be back.
Short walk to marina
By Deborah A on 20-Mar-2026We liked the location . It was a short walk to the marina where there was lots of cafes, bars,restaurants and shops. Across the road were two supermarkets which we used daily. The villa had its own heated pool which we enjoyed. We also liked the Indian restaurant which was 2 mins walk from the property. The villa was clean and fully equipped.
1st villa
By Mark Scott on 01-Jul-2025This was our third holiday in Playa Blanca, but first in a private villa. We are a family of 5. On the prior holiday we drove around checking out locations for this one.Location of Villa Katarina is excellent - walking distance of two supermarkets (across the road) and children’s play park, or along the coast on paved path to Marina Rubicón/ further. An off road parking space is available and the street has plenty of on road parking too. With the car (we have always used Autoreisen) you can drive within minutes to the beaches Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo, to the town center, or elsewhere.The villa itself is everything the description suggests - plenty of space inside to relax and dine, three good bedrooms upstairs with super comfy beds, and then the large pool and outside area with seating and sun loungers. Our teenagers and especially our 6yo were very happy with the pool.The kitchen is very well provisioned with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, oven, large fridge, freezer, and induction hob. The instructions are in a drawer - but I found this after searching online for what “Lo” meant on the hob - Locked, not Low!The TV has an extensive selection of English channels via IPTV, including video on demand movies if your youngest really wants to watch A Minecraft Movie again.Lisa, the host, gave clear communications whilst booking and before arrival. Thanks Lisa!Would definitely visit again.

By David Barrett on 01-Apr-2026Lisa was swiftly responsive to any questions we had both prior to our booking and whilst we were in the Villa. Villa is ideally placed with a well-stocked supermarket 1 minutes walk away. Very private and is just like it seems in the images. Nice quiet area but lovely walk to Marina and the busier part of Playa Blanca, but also a bus stop on the doorstep if walking not your thing. Villa has all the amenities you could require with lost of wardrobe space and really good television channels if you want to stay in one evening. Nice pool (which we had heated as weather was a bit changeable in March - well worth it). We would definitely stay there again and I can highly recommend it.
Mature ladies
By Sarah Evans on 13-Jun-2026Lovely property and very well equipped. The heated pool was wonderful. Plenty of room for 3 'mature ' ladies. Ideal location with supermarket opposite and a pleasant walk to the marina. Easy and cheap to get to main Playa Blanca area by bus. Only moan was slightly damp smell in and outside villa. Great holiday.

By Ceri Hurley on 09-Sep-2026The villa was very clean on arrival. It is one of the best condition villas we have stayed in, everything you could think of it had and it had a great layout. We were pleased to have air conditioning and had stocked up on euros before we arrived so we had plenty to use in the coin meter for the air conditioning. The pool was well looked after and cleaned twice a week. The location is perfect for families who are happy to walk to the marina (approx 15 mins- a comfortable walk) or taxis are readily available and reasonably priced. Communication with Lisa was always fast and welcoming. The information pack prior to the arrival was fantastic, all the information you could need. Great stay, we would highly recommend.
