Villa in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Peaceful Location, 15 Minute Walk to Beach and ShopsCasa Helen is a luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa, situated in the popular and peaceful residential area of Parque del Rey, and is a 15 minute walk from the beaches and town centre. The villa has a sun terrace which surrounds the secluded, electrically heated pool. Sunbeds, outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ are all provided to help make a truly relaxing holiday. Off-road gated parking is also provided. Inside the villa, which is tastefully furnished throughout, you will find high domed ceilings in the dining room and master bedroom, giving a cool and spacious feel. There is a flat screen internet TV (includes many UK and Irish channels), a DVD player and a radio/CD player. A cot is are available if required. We provide a welcome pack of basic food items. Free wifi is provided.
Our villa is suitable for couples and families with children. Smoking is not permitted inside the villa but is allowed outside. The completely private pool area has 4 sunbeds, attractive table with 4 comfortable chairs, barbecue, plus a large umbrella. The pool is electrically heated and cleaned twice weekly. Bed linen and towels, including pool towels are provided and changed weekly. For guests staying between 8 and 13 days, a mid-stay linen and towel change can be provided at extra cost.
Coast/Beach:
The harbour, beaches, shops and restaurants are 15-20 minutes walk from the villa or a 5 minute drive. About 5 minutes walk from the villa there is a bus stop (half-hourly town bus service). Both the ferry harbour and the attractive Marina Rubicon are a few minutes' drive away.
Travel:
Arrecife airport is 30 minutes away by car. Taxis are available at the airport, or you can arrange your own private transfers. Car hire, if required, can be pre-booked. The volcanoes in the National Park of Timanfaya are a few minutes drive away. If you would like to explore Lanzarote, it is a small island and everywhere is within an hour's drive.

Playa Blanca is family-friendly, with golden beaches and crystal clear water in which to bathe. There is a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Boat, submarine and fishing trips are available from the harbour. Water sports, cycling and tennis are available locally. The view from the village of Femes (ten minutes' drive from the villa) which nestles in the nearby volcanoes overlooking the villa, is outstanding.

A Truly Wonderful Stay
By Laura and family on 23-Aug-2026We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Helen. The villa is very well-equipped, and was really clean and tidy. The pool and outside area is really well-maintained, and there are areas of shade throughout the day if you need it. Good sun loungers and a lovely table to dine at. Inside is lovely too. Clean and bright. Beds are really comfortable and bedrooms are dark at night. We went in the height of summer, and the fans were enough to keep us cool at night and get a good night’s sleep. Plenty of hangers! Water pressure in the shower was fab. We had been left a welcome pack of water, milk, wine, butter and ham - which was very helpful. Communication with the owners was very easy, and they were very responsive. Excellent, clear information provided before departure, and a very informative pack left in the villa. Villa is easy to find and has a private parking space. Good location. We had a car, but would be walking distance to the port Avenida Maritima and Calle Limones where there are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. And is very close to the bus route. Sometimes it’s the little touches that make a big difference - and we felt that the hosts had thought of everything that would help a family enjoy themselves. We would 100% return to Casa Helen.

CH is perfectly located in a quiet, and safe development less than 20 minutes walk from central PB. A beautiful villa, well presented, spotlessly clean with everything you need for a relaxing break. It’s own off street parking, a fabulous heated swimming pool and private outside space meet you on arrival. CH is maintained to a high standard throughout and an excellent base to explore the island or just chill in PB itself. A big thank you to Paul and Gail who are always so helpful, reliable and friendly making the booking process so easy. A true ‘Happy Place’ and we’re always delighted to return.

It’s a keeper for us!
By Pauline & Graham on 27-May-2023Casa Helen is a beautiful little gem with the bonus of an extra bathroom! Situated on the lovely Parque Del Rey and just a 20 minute stroll to the seafront. It’s just like being at home with everything you could think of. Nice and clean and easy to keep it so as you holiday in very peaceful surroundings. The pool is so nice and kept very clean too. The British owners are very pleasant and easy to contact. We’ve been twice now and already booked for next year so it’s a keeper for us!
Lovely, comfortable villa

We''ve stayed in the quiet area of Parque del Rey before but the first time at Casa Helen which is a slightly bigger villa with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a larger living area. The villa is extremely well equipped, has a lovely high spec kitchen, a really comfortable double bed and both wardrobes have plenty of hangers! The pool area is lovely. Although it is at the front of the property, it is completely secluded and not overlooked at all. There are proper steps down into the pool and its a lovely temperature. The sun loungers are very comfortable wooden ones rather than plastic and are great for relaxing. You won''t need to take a book - the villa has 100s to choose from of all genres. There is a small welcome pack for convenience on arrival which includes milk, bread, spread, tea and coffee. The villa is a 15 minute walk down to the seafront 20 mins back as its slightly up hill, and taxis will cost €5 if you don''t fancy the walk (we''re in our 50s/60s and it really wasn''t a problem!). There are lots of English TV channels to watch if you fancy an evening in (including the usual BBC/ITV etc). Casa Helen is a lovely, comfortable and well looked after villa and a great place to stay and unwind in Playa Blanca. Gail is extremely easy to correspond with and answers emails really quickly if you have any queries. We are already planning our next stay.
