Description
This villa is very private, it is located in a quiet residential area.There is parking for two cars in front of the house.
This is a lovely villa which has a Mediterranean/ethnic fusion theme throughout.
The garden has a lawn and mature trees and shrubs with two lemon trees and an orange tree. The Villa has a large sunny pool (9m by 4m and 1.7m at its deepest)
As you enter the villa there is a spacious double height entrance hall. To the right is the master bedroom with en suite shower room. To the left is a corridor leading to three bedrooms, a large double room with a 2m emperor bed with Tempur mattress, and two twin rooms. There is a large family bathroom with bath and shower. All bedrooms benefit from air conditioning.
Continue down three steps from the entrance hall into the lounge, this is light and airy, with double height vaulted ceilings looking out to the garden, it benefits from a ceiling fan, a large comfortable sofa and chairs as well as inside dining for eight. Free Wifi is provided, as well as USB and bluetooth connection for music. There is freeview Sky TV (reception for Sky is limited in late summer) and a flat screen Smart TV with Netflix.
Leading from the lounge is a patio door to the outside dining and also at the far end of lounge diner it leads into a spacious kitchen which has all you need for cooking quiet or grand occasions.
Alfresco dining is provided under the shelter of a large covered veranda accessed through the patio windows of the lounge or kitchen door, here there is a large BBQ area.
A great view of the pool can be taken from the veranda, good for keeping an eye on the kids, if applicable.
There are two sunbathing terraces around the pool and there are various seating areas under trees, to chill and relax.
Most importantly this villa is not overlooked by the neighbouring plots and is nicely secluded.
Please note we supply linen and towels AND in addition beach towels (to keep your luggage weight down) for free!
We provide free of charge travel cots, high chair and children's plastic crockery utensils and cups as well as toys for young and old in the villa.
There are shops, bars, cafes and restaurants located nearby which is about 10 minutes walk away. Binibeca's sandy gently sloping beach is about 10 minutes walk away dependant on pace.
We recommend a car, but it is not essential, a good alternative is the touristic road train that runs from Binibeca Vell to Punta Prima. There are a larger selection of shops and supermarkets 15-20 minutes away by car in St. Lluis and the outskirts of Mahon. Mahon harbour is the second deepest and longest natural harbour in the world where there are numerous bars restaurants and boat trips in the harbour or to one of the islands to an art gallery
Mahon centre has great shopping and a weekly market on Tuesday as well as the famous fish market for amazing lunches.
Menorca is a UNESCO world heritage site for its prehistoric archaeology sites, many close by. Menorca is an unspoilt island and has some beautiful beaches, inland salt lakes and is less touristy than its neighbouring islands.

Booking Conditions:
Free cancellation is available if the booking is cancelled more than eight weeks before departure.
We do not request any large payments up front as we realise holidays must be budgeted for. So, a confirmation Deposit at time of reservation is 10%-20%, then a stage payment of 10%-20% approximately 3-4 months before holiday. This amount is refundable if the booking is cancelled prior to eight weeks before departure.
Final Balance of 70% is due eight weeks prior to arrival: There is no refund at this point.
Security deposit: 500 GBP (the security deposit is paid with the final balance payment and will be returned after departure provided all is ok)

The outdoor space is wonderful for a large multi-generational family and the indoors is typically Spanish with amazing artwork throughout. A short walk down hill finds a beautiful beach where we swam and ate at the beach restaurant. Within walking distance are a few very good restautants ( Sa Cova and Pedros were our favourites) a supermarket which has everything you need and there is also a nice bakery/ cafe. This resort is quiet and peaceful, we didn't use a car but took the tourist road train to Punta Prima for a morning, a livelier tourist resort with bars, a pharmacy and a lovely beach. Communication with the owners before was perfect and the management company ( english speaking) resolved a couple of minor issues almost immediately. If you have anyone in your party who couldnt walk up the hill to the villa then you would need a car. Parking and driving around the resort would not be a problem. Plenty of toys and books for children, a real home from home! We were blessed to hear chicks in a nest in thr garden and watch them being fed everyday! Already planning another stay! Loved how private the villa felt, being slightly further back from the beach was a good option as during July it gets busy. Highly recommend to others!

Relaxing holidays in Villa Gaviota
By Ana E on 09-Aug-2024Relaxing holidays in Villa Gaviota We loved our stay in villa Gaviota. Comfortable, calm, plenty of space, total relaxing place. We were 2 families of 4 with kids of 12 and 15 years old. The house is very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the barbecue area and dinning in the terrace. Rooms have air conditioning which was nice to have. The kids absolutely loved the pool! I personally enjoyed the garden with plenty of plants, flowers and lemon tree! The beach and shops are only 10 min walk. Thank you to the owner for all explanations and recommendations! We can't wait to return!
A fantastic family holiday!
By Owen R on 27-Aug-2024We had a brilliant holiday! The villa is extremely well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The outdoor space was well maintained and we enjoyed lots of days by the pool and playing games on the terrace. Communications from Adam in the run up to and during our holiday were excellent and we booked hire cars on his recommendation which helped us avoid lengthy airport queues. The villa is only a 10 minute walk from the beach, local restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. We had a very minor issue with the washing machine during our stay which was resolved by Adam quickly and efficiently. The owners clearly take great pride in providing their guests with extremely high levels of service. Thank you!
