Description
Villa Cassia is situated in a cliff-top tourist resort, Cala’n Porter, on the south coast of the island and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The town has everything within walking distance, with a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops. The wonderful beach with crystal clear waters can be accessed via road or steps and offers two beach bars serving local tapas and beverages. Other south coast beaches (Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa, Son Bou) can be reached within 15 minutes by car, and the capital town Mahon is also only a 10 minute drive away. Car hire is available from the resort and a daily bus service runs between Cala'n Porter and Mahon.The garden area has a spacious terrace surrounding the kidney-shaped swimming pool, which is furnished with comfortable loungers for relaxing in the sun. The porch area, with direct access to the lounge and kitchen, has a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a stone barbeque for open-air cooking.
The property been tastefully decorated and is well equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. All rooms are distributed on the ground floor.

Lovely Stat at Villa Cassia
By Arista on 21-Oct-2026We had a lovely stay at Villa Cassia in Cala en Porter! The pool and outdoor space were great, the location was convenient for exploring Menorca, and the villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and when we had an issue with wasps, they arranged for someone to come and spray, which we really appreciated. The villa was generally clean and well equipped. Our only suggestion would be to add a covered outdoor area, as the existing shade was lovely in good weather, but somewhere sheltered would have made a big difference during the rain. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Villa Cassia to anyone looking for a comfortable base to explore Menorca!

Enjoyable and Relaxing Holiday

The villa itself was as described in the listing, was very clean and comfortable, with A/C throughout the property. It is located in a quite, residential area, and the pool area is very private. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk, or 2 minutes to drive to a well--stocked supermarket, and there is a good variety of restaurants and bars within a 10-minute walk from the villa. Cala en Porter is a 15-minute drive from the airport and is a similar distance from the capital city, Mahon. It is the perfect location if you wish to explore the island. La Villa Company provided excellent information in advance of our visit, and was really helpful in facilitating a memorable holiday in Menorca.
Wonderful Villa
By Annabel on 08-Sep-2026Just back from a wonderful week in Cala En Porter. Cannot fault the villa, everything was as listed and communication was great. Beds were really comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and bathrooms both spotless. Pool maintenance guy came twice during our stay so pool was lovely and clean. The beautiful beach was short walk away but be prepared for the stairs getting back up! Some amazing restaurants also in walking distance but our favourite was Can Bernat which was a 10 min drive away. Visited the nature reserve - Parc Natural de s'Albufera des Grau - for some great walks, also El Toro for beautiful views and Torre d'en Galmés - a prehistoric site. All in all it was a perfect holiday and we didn't want to leave. Thank you!

Wonderful Holiday
By Lisa on 17-Jul-2026Just returned from our 6th visit to Menorca but first time with La Villa Company, who we can highly recommend. We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Cassia in Cala en Porter. Gurbia was brilliant from initial email communications, to the booking, to prompt action when we couldn't work out how to get English TV channels (needed for the England match!). The villa and pool were perfect - super clean, well-furnished, air-con in all rooms - made our stay really comfortable and easy. Thank you so much - we will be back!!
