Description
Villa completed in June 2011 in a quiet location set back off the road . The large lounge has a dining area with a Ultra HD 4K Smart TV. We have installed a 1.8m satellite dish and are now able to receive free view channels BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc ( some channels may be lost in bad weather), DVD Player, CD Player. Lounge doors open onto a terrace with outdoor eating area and large poolside area for sunbathing. Kitchen is fully equipped including a marble breakfast bar. One double bedroom with ensuite , two twin rooms all with air conditioning and 1 family bathroom. There is a large roof terrace for sunbathing, with spectacular panoramic views. Changeover Day:
Only Friday to Friday change over. On day of arrival the villa will be ready for you at 4pm. On your day of departure, the villa is to be vacated by 10am.
Booking Conditions:
We require a non-refundable deposit of £250 per week to secure your booking. Your final balance is due 10 weeks prior to your arrival along with the tourist tax and a £250 refundable security deposit to cover breakages or any extra cleaning.

Best place we've stayed in over 30 years of visiting Menorca!

Although the property had been highly recommended (by a close and trusted friend) the villa exceeded our expectations from the minute we arrived. Firstly this villa is a secure property with its lockable solid metal gates at the end of the driveway, compound style private garden, alarm system, sensor lights, etc and this isn't always the case with holiday rentals. It is also surrounded by other lovely villas which are occupied by local residents. One of us struggles to sleep on the ground floor in bungalows but no such difficulties here such was the sense of being safe and secure at night. And so on to the interior...on the subject of sleeping the beds at Villa Rose are the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on whilst on holidays in the Med! And although in May we didn't need the A/C we noted that the bedrooms are fitted with movement sensor systems for total comfort all night long. And it's not just the beds that are top quality because this villa is kitted out like a lovely home and not what you would usually experience of a typical holiday rental. Luckily other visitors seem to appreciate this quality and we found no evidence of lounging around on sofas or the fabric covered dining chairs full of sunscreen etc. Now to the shower...great! We think the glass screen is a new addition to the en suite and it made for a lovely showering experience. The bathroom is also everything you'd want from a bathroom. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave in addition to the oven, hob and fridge freezer so all very useful and not always available in a typical holiday rental. The lounge diner was very comfortable day and night with sea views. We spent a lot of time sitting on the terrace in the shade and evening sun over looking the pool but there is also a fabulous roof top terrace which we definitely hope to enjoy when we next visit when less chilly/windy in early Sept. Can't wait to go back quite frankly!

Perfect location and Villa

Comfortable villa with great pool, roof terrace and sheltered terrace for some shade. Quiet location and close to restaurants and supermarkets. Our 9th visit, and booked for next year, says it all!

Superb Villa
By Roger Greaves on 15-May-2026This was our 5th Stay at Villa Rose and the only disappointment was that we only stayed for a week this time! Perfectly situated in the lovely resort of Calan Porter, with views to die for from both Roof & Pool Terrace. Everything was spotless as usual and the new furniture on the Roof Terrace was a very welcome surprise. Thank you very much Mark & Jackie, we hope to be back soon.
Just perfect
By Atkinsons on 29-Aug-2025Having stayed here many times before it is the best villa we stayed at. Well equipped, beds comfortable and a gorgeous view. Unfortunately was too late for next year…that shows you how popular it is! Not too far to walk to shops, restaurants and bars of which there are many and all good. We had our grandson again and he had a ball, the owners kindly let us use their high chair which was fantastic. The weather was good a bit hot some days but the air conditioning inside was most welcome. Good communication with the owners. Will certainly book again. Our happy place

It is our happy place and the villa has the most wonderful location, quiet but convenient for all restaurants and supermarkets, and the view from the terrace overlooking the Med and towards Majorca is spectacular whatever the weather.

Lovely villa with amazing views
By Sarah Beattie on 22-Aug-2025We had such a great time staying at this villa! It’s super well equipped with everything you need – comfy beds, a full kitchen. We have holidayed in Cala en porter for a number of years and this villa is in a great location, only a short walk from a number of fabulous restaurants. The highlight for us was the roof terrace with the wonderful view over the sea, Absolutely stunning! Our daughter loved the pool. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a chill and comfortable place to stay. We didn’t want to leave!
