Description


Royal Villa 7 is a detached, family owned, immaculate villa on the stunning estate of Royal Westmoreland, a gated community with 24 hour security. The villa offers spacious accommodation on two floors with spectacular views of the resort's pond and lush gardens with the stunning Caribbean beyond.

Our villa is a three bedroom villa with the Queen suite at the split level on entry to the property, with two further suites downstairs. A Twin bedded suite has a recessed covered terrace with seating to relax and enjoy the sunshine in the shade. The Master suite has seating area inside to enjoy your morning cup of tea away from the hustle and bustle. The master suite opens out onto a glorious sun terrace. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning.

The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area is on the top floor which flows through to the balcony with stunning Caribbean views, probably one of the best views at the Royal Villas. The balcony has a covered dining area with ceiling fan and a sun terrace with a comfortable, plush seating area. There is also a formal dining area inside which seats 8. Lounge area to relax with smart Samsung TV or listen to some quality sound music on the Sonos system. The kitchen is fully equipped to self cater or we can arrange for a private chef to take the stress away from entertaining. There is also a gas BBQ on the lower terrace with gas supplied.

Our housekeeper will look after all your housekeeping needs, she works Monday - Saturday, 9am - 3pm. Our villa manager, Sasha, will visit to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. She will be able to assist you with grocery/wine delivery, booking restaurants, car hire, baby sitting and general information about the island.

We have Full membership at Royal Westmoreland and this gives you access to beach membership at Mullins beach with complimentary sun beds, umbrellas and towels. Waiter service is provided on the beach and when you are feeling extra hot in the sunshine, iced face towels are a welcome treat.. Mullins is now exclusively open to Royal Westmoreland members only. There is a daily free bus shuttle service from Royal Villas to the beach.

Please note our prices include the 10% taxes introduced by the Barbados government in March 2019. Please see 'Prices' section for your specific dates. 25% deposit required to secure your dates and final balance due 60 days before arrival. Payment can be by bank transfer or PayPal.

The rental includes use of our 4 seater golf buggy for use around the Royal Westmoreland Estate. A damage deposit of US$1,000 is required, and this can be taken by swipe of credit card on arrival. There is also a disclaimer form to sign if you wish to use the golf buggy.

With full golf membership, you can have access to all tee times during the day. The current villa renter rate is US$ 250 per round pp. Royal Westmoreland also offers communal pool and children's pool (3 minutes from RV 7), clubhouse with pro shop and restaurant, air conditioned gym, tennis courts and Sanctuary pool.

As a group of 5 we had a great experience, owners were excellent, providing first class communication. Lovely property located in a gated community with comprehensive amenities, spacious and very clean. Upon arrival at the Villa we were greeted by Sasha ‘concierge’ who was very helpful in answering any questions. Friendly housekeeper Luann who visited to do the cleaning/laundry was superb. RWM facilities were fine, beautiful views on the golf course, with plenty of room to walk around, a couple of decent size pools, gym, tennis courts and shuttle (10min) to a cosy private beach. Eating out options on site were a little limited to just the Rum Shak bar. Happily the villa comes with a golf buggy which is essential to get to the reception, pool, gym, bar and golf club. Taxis for us were a bit on the pricey side, for convenience and for us to make the most of our trip we rented a car for the duration of our stay. The main grocery store, Masseys, is a 15 mins drive to Holetown. La Baguette was a tasty little French bakery about 5mins drive. Overall RV 7 provided a wonderful home base for us to go out and explore Barbados to discover some fab bars/restaurants, beautiful beaches and meet some lovely people.
