This property is a sizeable terraced, 2 storey town house in Arenal Den Castell in the Es Mercadal region in the North East of Menorca Island. It is just 25 minutes drive from the airport and the capital Mahon so only a short transfer. There are Sea Views from the 1st floor of the house which is just a 3 minute walk to one of the most stunning beaches in Menorca which boats crystal turquoise waters and pale sand. On the ground floor there is a patio area to the front of the property with a masonry BBQ and a dining area and a small gravel garden to the rear of the house. Inside on the same level there are 2 bedrooms with a further bedroom with bunk beds which is accessed through the master bedroom with doors and curtains to separate them so ideal for small children and also gives the double room privacy. There are two bathrooms on the ground floor with showers and a toilet in each. Stairs from the hallway go straight into the lounge on the first floor which is double aspect with a balcony to the front with stunning Sea views and a further balcony area at the back of the property. The lounge area includes a wood burner for out of Summer Season comfort and a TV with DVD player and a DVD library. There is a small kitchen at the front of the house and towards the rear is a 3rd bathroom with shower and toilet and an attached laundry room with washing machine and a tumble dryer.

There are small supermarkets and great restaurants in Arenal and surrounding areas which are open from April through to the end of October. For out of season visits, there are shops and restaurants a short drive away in near by towns and cities.

There are beautiful walks in the area and all the way round the Island. Menorca is also great for keen cyclists especially outside of high season.

The house is located close to a local hotel and like most holiday resorts on the Island, in high Season there is sometimes atmospheric music playing which can be heard form the house.

La maison est agréable , spacieuse , jolie vue coté rue: sur la mer depuis la petite terrasse. La plage est à proximité à 10 minutes par des escaliers. Quelques restaurants à proximité.
Quelques petits soucis de propreté à l'arrivée, mais résolu par la propriétaire.
2 problèmes :
1-la chienne du voisin qui aboie a toute heure et ne permet pas de se reposer sur la terrasse à l'arrière , et cela malgré notre conversation avec son maitre.
2- Bruits venant de l'animation du complexe Aguamarina à proximité du logement et qui peut être gênant si l'on cherche le calme et si l'on veut profiter de la terrasse "barbecue" pour le dîner.
Bonne réaction de la propriétaire qui à pris en compte nos commentaires.

We all had a very good time at the property. The only criticisms were the things that you will be seeing to in the future - lack of wardrobe space in main bedroom and cooking facilities. We loved the house and thought your information literature was very helpful, particularly your restaurant recommendations. The three bathrooms were very handy though the shower in the smallest bathroom didn't work properly. We would recommend the property and the resort to friends

This was our eighth stay at Arenal, the first at this apartment. The property is in a great location, very central with wonderful views. We have stayed at properties on the beach front before but for those who like to hire a car it can sometimes be a struggle to find a parking space in the height of the season. This property comes with the added bonus of private parking spaces directly in front , off the road. The property itself is clean and spacious with ample areas to sit out front and back. It is equipped with everything you need for your stay and supermarkets are a couple of minutes walk. Finally, it was a pleasure to deal with the owners who checked in with us, via text, at the start of our stay to make sure everything was ok and were only too happy for us to contact them if needed. Wonderful stay at a lovely property. Would not hesitate to recommend and we hope to return in the future.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questa casa, dotata di ogni confort necessario. La posizione e' ideale: tranquilla e vicinissima al mare. La proprietaria e' davvero molto gentile e disponibile. Un must il barbecue nel patio.

Family friendly house, very clean, short walk to restaurants and lovely safe beach, great base.

It's a simple typical Spanish property with funky decor and as a family of five we were very comfortable. We arrived late and tired at the property but settled in well - it was very clean, & had lovely quality sheets and very large bath towels. Sounds silly but these details made a big difference to the start of our holiday. Other great family friendly features - good sized laundry, lots of places to hang wet towels, etc. Great location to walk (barefooted in the case of my daughter!) to the beach and all the family restaurants in Arenal. Kids loved Arenal beach - very safe. A good base for us to explore lots of other places in Menorca too, including Mahon and Fornells.
