If its complete relaxation and tranquillity you’re after, this spacious and comfortable house is ideal. Nestling in the green hills and valleys, between Bisenti and Castiglione Messer Raimondo, with amazing views of the Gran Sasso mountain range. Ideal for walking.
Take the chance to practise speaking Italian, you’ll find very few English speaking locals in this truly unspoilt region. Closest beach half an hour away at Montesilvano. Or mountain walking, approximately one hour away at the ski resort, Prati di Tivo, or Campo Imperatore and other areas. Plenty of outdoor fun and relaxation at the house, with use of private pool, table tennis, mountain bike, sunbeds and barbecue. The land around the house provides great potential for exploration. Julia and Colin, our super friendly managing team who live locally will ensure your every need is met whilst staying, from meeting you with full instructions to booking restaurants to fixing anything not working properly. They are always on call so that all you need to do is to concentrate on the complete relaxation!! If you would like the catering taken care of for a celebration or any meal we have contact with a local chef for your every need. We like to visit the local agriturismo, Colle Paradiso for home cooked local food at an unbeatable price. Or there is the barbecue area great for a night in and very sociable. If it gets too hot or its raining (has been known) the lounge can be transformed in to a cinema room with a huge selection of DVDs to choose from.
Great holiday hideaway in a relatively undiscovered area
By Jon Boswell on 29-Aug-2018
It was great to find a part of Italy that is entirely unspoilt by tourism even in high season. The house enjoys spectacular scenery as well as being within easy reach of the Adriatic coast. The locals are friendly and there are a number of good value places to eat.
The house is well laid out with good facilities and plenty of space for two families of four. We particularly enjoyed the large balcony (with great views), the pool and the fire pit area! It is definitely better value than equivalent houses in better known regions of Italy, and I can certainly recommend it.

Great villa in a spectacular setting. Stunning views from the balcony and bbq area and a great pool.
By Mikey M. on 27-Jun-2018
We spent a week as two families of four at Christine’s place near Bisenti and we had a wonderful time. The villa is well equipped, particularly upstairs in the main living area. It was clean and tidy, and had all we needed. There is a large balcony wrapped around two sides of the villa which was great for lounging about and gazing at the incredible mountain views, with a big broad table perfect for meals in the evening sun. The downstairs living area is slightly simpler but perfectly nice. Outside, the pool was perfect for us and the kids, and we had a good few days doing little more than relaxing in and out of the water. At the front is table tennis and table football, and a glorious little bbq area hidden away which has the most spectacular view I’ve ever had whilst grilling!
It was tricky to find as first timers, and sat nav will be of no help to you, but the Teramo and Abruzzo area was well worth the drive. We had a lovely couple of days at Pineto beach, and a delightful visit to San Lorenzo vineyard (after which we couldn’t resist taking some bottles home and putting our baggage allowance at risk for the return flight!)
A week was too short, and we’re already itching to go back!
Italy at its best
By Kevin L. on 08-May-2017
There are no pictures that can do this house and its surroundings true justice, it really is a case of see it to really believe it. Here is a really spacious comfortable and well equipped house that gives you the home from home feel while you drink in the beauty of the Abruzzo region. This house also benefits from a great support team to welcome you and should anything go wrong they are just a phone call away 24/7. We recommend this place whole heartedly and shall be returning.
A piece of paradise

This house does exactly what it says on the tin ,its comfortable. its peaceful, its beautiful, its so well equipped,it was a perfect base for our family of 8 adults to completly chill out . The fact that the owners are willing to share this piece of paradise is beyond us , we were there for a week we relaxed and really chilled out ,the weather was perfect but even if it had rained there was enough to do ,the level of service from the couple that look after the house is again excellent. It was everything it claimed to be and we would return.
A beautiful relaxing getaway.

Recently returned from this gorgeous mountain hideaway with 4 other couples. Stunning views all round - spectacular to wake up to. Huge house with fabulous facilities. Excellently equipped kitchen, lovely bedroom and bathrooms, huge outside dining table and best of all the massive BBQ/fire pit for gathering in the evenings. Chilled days floating around in the pool and evenings eating and drinking together.
Found everything we needed in Bisenti supermarket and butchers - good market on Tues for fruit, veg, ham, cheese etc.
Lovely pizza restaurant in Castiglione and fabulous excellent value meal at Paradiso restaurant - had to stop at the meat course though - phew!!
Can't recommend enough for a 'get away from it all' luxury break.
The Best Yet!

My large, now adult family have taken holidays in large villas with pools in Italy for 4 of the last 5 years. This was the best - magnificant location, far from the madding croud, with spectacular scenery, authentic and friendly local Italian people - free from tourist trappings and commercialisation. Perfectly equipped spacious house which is ideal for inside and outside living.
Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Excellent restaurant just 10 minutes away, all the basic local provisions you need in nearby Bisenti. Bellisimo!

I escaped here with just my eldest Daughter for company after a gruelling exam period. We arrived in a storm and had to baton down the hatches but the following morning we woke up and threw open all the windows and shutters and realised that we had landed in paradise! The views across the neighbouring hillsides are unbelievable and I found it difficult to read because I just wanted to sit and stare! The House is equipped brilliantly and we loved driving to the local town and buying all the ingredients for our meals...with Christine's help...via a text...don't think I would have ever managed to buy minced beef for a hearty Bolognese sauce without her!We simply wanted to relax on this occasion, which we were able to do...but we long to return with a large party and have fun exploring the local countryside. We loved the pool and the veranda where we ate all our meals. The weather was terrific and I cannot wait to return. The loo on the first floor has one of the best views I have ever seen! Unspoilt Italy. Bellissimo!!

Our stay was made even better by some fabulous weather. The accommodation was spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The walks and surrounding views were picture postcard and we often came across a lovely local bar or café. The BBQ was really useful as we were a large group of 13. The kitchen and seating areas were perfect for our group which made for some good nights in. I would recommend this for any size group but its perfect for large groups with plenty of separate bedrooms/bathrooms. Everything we could have wished for
My favourite holiday destination!
By Lollylu on 12-Nov-2013
Of all the houses I've stayed in over the years, this is by far my favourite house and destination. If you want complete rest and relaxation this is the place to go. The views over the rolling hills and valleys while you're in the pool and on the veranda are exquisite. I've been here with my family a few times and always come back from there feeling like I've had a REAL holiday and feeling completely relaxed. The house is extremely well equipped which makes it feel like a home - not just a holiday house. There is plenty for the kids to do inside when it's too hot during the day and some lovely walks when it's cool enough. The house is very spacious so if you went with a large group of people you would still feel like you had your own space. This house is in the middle of nowhere, but within driving distance of the beach or the mountains - whatever you prefer. The owners are very friendly and lovely to deal with. I cannot recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back! aaahh... just writing this is making me remember how I feel when I'm there!! Lovely :)
Wow, just perfect!

Our stay in Italy was just perfect.
The accomodation was great for our party of 12 and we particularly enjoyed the outside space, whether it was the huge balcolny or the wonderful garden with swimming pool. The firepit/barbeque is a tremendous feature and we looked forward to cooking meals and lingering around the campfire. Our room (downstairs) was very comfortable and with 3 bathrooms we never had to wait. The DVD projector is a nice touch although we didnt seem to have time to watch any films.
We met the neighbours and this truly is rural Italy.
Biscenti is just a few (6?)km away for local shops and there is a bar with Wifi about 3km away from the house. We walked there but it would be only a few minutes in the car.
All in all this was a tremendous holiday, in a great location, in a fantastic house and when you consider the cost split over 12 people it is such good value.
