Nice villa, great holiday

By Lars M. on 20-Aug-2018

Villa provides all you need for a relaxed vacation with your family. Very calm area, pool is really good, view perfect. Especially the patio is great, you can spent all day outside and stay in shadow.
Nice sightseeing, restaurants, beaches nearby.
We actually had to convince our boys to trips because they wanted to stay at the Villa ...

A fabulous spacious well equipt villa, with an amazing pool, situated in a quiet residential area

By Kim M. on 06-Oct-2017

We stayed at this villa for a week during August. 2 adults, 2 children aged 8 and 6. We flew into BCN , hired a car and drove about 1hr 15 mins to the villa, where we were met by the lovely Sam who showed us around. The villa is so beautiful, it's cut away in the hillside and when you look outwards from the villa you see nothing but a beautiful view. It's not overlooked at all, there are 'neighbours' but they're not close and are hidden from view.
The outside area is wonderful, so much space, our daughter even had lots of room to practise her gymnastics! The weather was very warm and we spent almost all of our time outside, there are 2 lovely spaces to sit and eat, and the bigger bedrooms have spacious balconies to sit with a coffee or glass of wine.
Inside there is everything you could need, the children enjoyed having sky tv and in breaks from swimming would chill out and watch something. Kitchen is better equipt that ours at home!
Bedrooms are big and the beds are comfortable, each room has ceiling fans and even in very hot weather it felt cool inside.
This was the first week of our holiday before travelling to south of France. Both of us shattered from hectic time at work and the villa was everything we could've hoped for. We spent far more time there than we imagined as it was just so relaxing, especially as the kids so happy with all it had to offer. There are some supermarkets within a short drive so we mostly self catered, but there is plenty to choose from at each resorts a short drive away. All in all, a perfect break and we were very sad to leave!

Just what we needed

By Simon N. on 11-Aug-2016

A family of 4 we stayed in this well equipped villa for 10 days in July. It exceeded our expectations and was just what we needed. The weather was very hot during visit and the ceiling fans kept us cool in the evenings and the two shaded areas facing the pool and barbecue did the same during the day. The wifi and pool kept the kids amused allowing a relaxing and enjoyable visit for everyone. We would definitely recommend it.

Spectacular views and very comfortable.

By Lynda R. on 01-Jan-2015

We visit the villa every year in May and find that the region appeals to all ages of visitors. The main attraction for me is the tranquility of the area and the spectacular, unspoilt views from the villa. There are some amazing walks through the country park which wind through the hills for hours. There is plenty to amuse the children at the villa with the pool and boules court. There are of course, lovely beaches and good value restaurants close by and great supermarkets just a short drive away. It is easy to fall in love with this villa and the beautiful countryside around it. You'll be coming back for more!

Brilliant villa in excellent location

By Gillian F. on 08-Dec-2014

We had such a fabulous week in this villa. It's very spacious inside and the kitchen came stocked with the basics, which was fantastic. The outside area is very large - with boules at the top, BBQ round the side and the swimming pool on the same level as the patio. There were lots of sun loungers and beach towels which was very handy as towels take up precious luggage space! The views from the villa are spectacular and we loved the guide produced by the owners with helpful tips of where to visit and eatu002Fdrink. The area and surrounding areas are just beautiful, there's plenty to explore. We will certainly be back!! Thanks.

Perfect place for adult family

By Sarah C. on 31-Oct-2012

6 adults had a very comfortable stay at this villa in Calonge. Great indoor and outdoor space meant we could all find a variety of spots to sit, read and if we wanted to soak up the sunshine. Easy to relax by the excellent pool with the house right there to find a cool drink. We ate outside all the time, and used the barbeque on a number of occasions. A car is essential to shop, eat out or go to the coast but all very accessible. Coast line is lovely whether you want open sandy beaches or coves. We visited Barcelona twice once by car and once by train, very easy. Loved Barcelona we'll go back when more time.
The younger adults found plenty to do - climbing course, snorkelling but didn't make the nearby water park. If your looking for easy to live in well equipped villa with good access to plenty of things to do and see, this is great.

A wonderful holiday

By Deb And Tony on 03-Oct-2009

Just returned from a fabulous week in this superb villa with wonderful views over the surrounding hills. Very secluded and beautifully quiet with the most fantastic pool to bathe in or relax by. A wonderful home from home, very relaxing and romantic too. Would definitely stay again, even better than we expected. All the local amenities and beaches you would wish for and an easy hour or so drive to Barcelona too.

Review of Villa in Calonge

By Sam Carr on 04-Sep-2009

We have just returned from our stay in this lovely villa in Calonge. It is our third time in Calonge but the first in this villa. Very comfortable and a true "home from home" providing everything you might need for your stay. Both our children loved it, one a teen and the other getting that way! The pool was well used as we had the most perfect weather for the entire two weeks. The foodu002Fdrink laden fridge was very welcome when we arrived. Calonge is just beautiful and if the weather were to turn on you there are so many sights to explore, you wouldn't get bored. We loved the medieval village Pals and the kids, of course, thought the water park just outside of Calonge was simpl;y fab. A lovely time. We didn't want to come home at all and we hope to return.

Loved it

By Mandy L. on 06-Apr-2008

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Peters villa. This was our 3rd visit to Colonge in 4 months and although the previous properties were fine, This one was the best by far. I can honestly say everything you could possible want or need is provided. Great to open the fridge and see cold beer and wine waiting for you to enjoy on the terrase.( we did replace them before we left ). The whole house was spotless and I really cant find anything negative to say. Never got to use the fab pool as it is a bit early in the season and we are a bit soft but we still enjoyed sitting out and taking in the stunning views. What else can I say, JUST BOOK IT!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Peter for allowing to use your property xx
