Casa Noronha is a fully renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa in Casas del Sol. Built in the early 1980s, it was one of the first complexes in Playa Blanca. It sits opposite the harbour in the old part of town, a short walk from the town center, shops, restaurants and Playa Flamingo. A bus stop is just outside the entrance.
The villa
• Bedroom 1: double bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower
• Bedroom 2: two single beds and a separate bathroom, also with a walk-in shower
• Air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room
• Modern kitchen with integrated appliances, a kitchen island and a Nespresso machine
• Starlink internet
• Water filter system, so you don't need bottled water
• TV with international channels, including UK, Spanish, French, US and Dutch
• Private terrace with sun loungers and a barbecue
• Bed linen and towels, changed mid-week
The complex
Casas del Sol has about 18,000 m² of gardens and a solar-heated saltwater pool shared by the villas. There are two tennis courts and a boules pitch (payable at reception), a small shop at reception for basics, and parking with a permit from reception. Guests often mention how clean and well kept the complex is, and the reception team is friendly and helpful.
Around Playa Blanca
Three beaches are within walking distance, including Playa Flamingo. The seafront promenade runs for almost 9 km along the coast. Playa Blanca has avoided high-rise buildings, and the old town around the harbour is quieter than the newer marina area.
About us
We're Daniela and Hans. Daniela is a Brazilian psychotherapist, and Hans is a former psychology professor who now researches loneliness at Annecy Behavioral Science Lab. We named the villa after Fernando de Noronha, the Brazilian island where Hans proposed to Daniela. We've been coming to Lanzarote since 1993 and are happy to share our favorite beaches and restaurants.

Beautiful villa
By Karen Jones on 31-May-2026We've been going to Lanzarote since 1989, frequently staying at villas in Playa Blanca, including at Casas Del Sol, and I have to say this is the best yet. Beautiful decor, well-equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathrooms, comfy beds, large patio, which meant we could be in the sun all day if we wanted to, and the filtered water was a nice bonus that meant no more lugging 5 litre water bottles around. A really excellent villa.
Wished we could have stayed longer

By Bas en Wendy Rijkers on 21-Oct-2022Wij hebben twee en halve week verbleven in Casa Noronha. Deze casa is super fijn en mooi. Erg ruim en modern ingericht. Voorzien van alle gemakken. Goede matrassen en dus lekker geslapen, ook niet geheel onbelangrijk. Het huis heeft ook 2 ruime badkamers, dat is ook erg praktisch. Een fijn ruim terras met overkapping en een bbq. Eigenlijk kunnen we wel zeggen dat dit het mooiste huis op het park is! Ook de ligging is fantastisch. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en reageert snel. Wij komen hier zeker weer eens terug!
