Fabulous and memorable holiday at Villa Filip
By June And Mike on 05-Aug-2017
Hello Irene, We have just returned from a fabulous holiday staying at villa Filip. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, it was great. We ended up landing at Paphos airport late evening because our flight was delayed at Gatwick, along with many others due to bad weather that afternoon. We were promptly greeted by someone from Cy-breeze car rentals, they are brilliant, and before we knew it we were driving off to find the villa. Consequently, it was midnight when we arrived at the villa and the welcome hamper pack was really appreciated, well... the bottle of wine was at that time. 'THANK YOU'. Being so late and dark we could not appreciate what the villa looked like... until the morning. Oh my, there were just huge smiles on our faces looking around everywhere in the villa. Brilliant, we loved it. And I must add what a character Filip the owner is, he's great. We had some good chats and laughs with him. This was our first holiday on our own together, (we've been together for seven years), so thank you for helping to make our holiday such a memorable one. We are now hoping to have another good holiday next year and enquiring if Villa Filip is available for two weeks in August 2018? Also, if it's available from a Wednesday, midweek? Hopefully it is, and if you can let us know any available dates and we'll get back to you promptly. Once again, 'thank you' Irene. Oh, and must add... your videos.....and Lauren.... what an entertaining daughter you have. I think they are great, so informative. Look forward to hearing from you
Another great holiday at Villa Filip
By Maggie Buckley on 10-Jun-2017
This villa, its location and its owner never disappoints. Villa Filip is a most comfortable villa in a great location. Its within easy reach of Coral Bay and Sea Caves. The villa is wonderfully secluded with lots of outside space offering a range of sitting out areas fruit and flowers. We love the large pool accessed by steps and a ladder which is always kept immaculately clean. Filip takes great pride in his place and wants his guests to enjoy their holiday, Hes a lovely interesting man who is always available for any help or advice. The villa is well equipped with all the kitchen paraphernalia you could want or need on holiday. As for Irene at Sundance...What can we say? Always available and always willing and wanting to help. Thank you

This was our third year at Villa Filip and once again it brought the same magic as previously. Villa Filip is everything Sundance Villas claim and even more. Irene and her Team are always there to help and advise if needed but with such a character as Filippos you need look no further. His thoughtfulness, kindness and friendship are irreplaceable and make the holiday that more enjoyable. The information pack and recommendations from Sundance Villas from where to eat, shop, visit etc are a must to read because they are so helpful and accurate. Thank you once again Irene and Filippos for a wonderful holiday.
Peace and tranquility
By James Horley on 13-May-2017
I have just returned from a perfect spot for those seeking a bit of peace and quiet. Villa Filip is just off the main road on it's own private drive, and surrounded by banana and avocado orchards, with a totally private garden. You might here the odd person pruning the banana plants or picking the fruit, but apart from that the traffic noise usually goes un-notice. The villa is a perfect spot for touring the area around Coral Bay and St. Gergio up to Lara Bay. The villa and gardens are just as the pictures on the web site show and the owner Filip (Phillip) is a real character and is not intrusive in any way whilst only being a phone call away. I have tried other villas but in my opinion this would be hard to beat.
What privacy! a complete contrast to our last villa holiday in Protaras, where we were overlooked from all angles.
By John Bishop on 15-Apr-2017
Villa Filip was superb, so relaxing it was hard to pull ourselves away to go out! What privacy! A complete contrast to our last villa holiday in Protaras, where we were overlooked from all angles. We were pleased we were just out of Coral Bay, as it was busier there than we thought. The small beach at Ayios Georgios was lovely too, what views!!...We will recommend your services for sure, many thanks.
Scent and seclusion
By Mia And Luke on 08-Oct-2016
Dear Irene, Villa Filip is a beautiful villa, the whole villa is so secluded. The garden is really mature and colourful, and the scent was unbelievable. Thank you Irene and Lauren for arranging everything for us. We will definitely be back in touch soon.
Wonderful villa for a secluded honeymoon. We made the right choice!
By Steve And Karen F on 06-Aug-2016
Hi Irene. What a lovely honeymoon. Just what we wanted. Peace and quiet with enough to keep us interested for short trips out. Thank you for the really nice pastry and the champagne. We had the champagne after the second trip to George at Anesi as our final meal on saturday. He and the staff are superb. The special meze was amazing. The bbq was great with local stuff. The Mountain mix pork chops were really nice. George working for Stevies Tours was a blast. Eddie the lizard was a nice touch. How did you train him to jump in the pool? No, seriously, after rescuing him he seemed to be tame and sat on my hand for ages. Really nice. We looked at all the villas as we travelled and would not have swapped for any of them. Back in the UK rain now.
Another wonderful week at Villa Filip. As always your service was impeccable and the villa (and welcome pack with wine!) was superb!
By Sam T on 11-Jun-2016
Hi Irene We have just returned from another wonderful week at Villa Filip. As always your service was impeccable and the villa (and welcome pack with wine!) was superb. We did not move too much but had a good day out hiring a boat at Latchi and eating well at Moustakallis in Polis - gorgeous food and they even organised a birthday cake for Graham! Cy-breeze were as good as ever and came out promptly when the key fob to the car ran out of battery! Thanks again for a great time and please pass on thanks to Nicole - always lovely to see her and she gave us some good tickets for Fassouri. We would love to book another villa for next year - because the children are now older they need a room each and also my parents would like to come with us. We were thinking of Villa Amorosa for us all. We went to have a sneaky look while we were up at Latchi and it looks fab. Can you tell us any more about it or is it all in the description on your website......Thanks again Irene and hope all is well with you
Villa Filip could not have been any better
By Jo & Simon on 04-Jun-2016
Hello Irene The Villa Filip was lovely, very clean & tidy, just perfect for the 2 of us. Your directions from the airport were spot on & it was a wonderful to find the hamper there on our arrival. Nicole did text us on our first day but having been to Cyprus on previous occasions, we didn't really need any assistance, or have any requests. Philip came over to see us on the second day & was very friendly & welcoming. The 2 weeks we spent at the villa were perfect, it couldn't have been any better. We have been on many holidays worldwide & this was the most relaxing & peaceful holiday we have ever had. I would definitely recommend Sundance Villas & have already given one of my work colleagues one of your leaflets.
18/05/16 - 25/05/16
By Ray Jenkinson on 18-May-2016
This is the second visit to Villa Filip and once again was amazing. The Villa which is situated in Peyia, near to Coral Bay, is handy for all the local amenaties and Tavernas. Sundance Villas are probably one of the best to deal with, Irene and her team are very helpful no matter what the occasion is. Filip himself is so easy to deal with and any problem is dealt with immediately. Tavernas to eat at, which I highly recommend, are 'The Farm Yard' and 'Yiannis' in Kathikas, which is about a 20 minutes drive from Villa Filip and is between Coral Bay and Polis, the service and food is terrific. There is also an English food Taverna called 'The Welcome' which is on the road between the Vill and Coral Bay, the staff make you very welcome and the prices are quite reasonable. If your looking for a good Villa in a quiet location, then this one is highly recommended.
By Mr And Mrs Gregory on 07-May-2016
Just returned from our second stay at the Villa Filip with our brother in law Ray Jenkinson and his wife. This is one of, if not the best, villas we have stayed in. It feels so homely and welcoming, the decoration, furnishing both inside and out has been done with care and attention by the owner Philip. The Villa is surrounded by banana and avocado trees and set back from the main road making it private and secluded. The pool area is great with plenty of sun beds and shade. Inside the villa is equipped to a high stardard with nothing left to chance. The owner Philip is a great guy and most helpful and easy to contact if necessary. Overall a brilliant stay close to all amenities. Many many thanks to Philip and Irene (Sundance Villas) a great time was had by all, we will no doubt return. Cheers. Five stars all round!
Just returned and we wanted to re book for next year but the dates are booked already!
By Nick And Margaret Pike on 04-May-2016
Hi Irene Just returned and we wanted to re book for next year but the dates are booked already so we will book Villa Aphrodite. Our holiday was out of this world! Brilliant! The best villa ever for comfort, relaxation and quality, inside and out. When we arrived we met Filip who was hosing the poolside. Pool was spotless and warm like a bath, and the scent of the flowers was unbelievable. We have never stayed at a villa so much, we hardly went out, breakfast in the rear garden with the scent of a waxy cream flower and the roses, and the rest of the time on the front terrace. We did go to Polis and drove along to Argaka, and we did the drive you suggested in the paperwork from Lysos, beautiful.
Fantastic, even better in reality
By Roy & Sue on 10-Oct-2015
Dear Irene Yes we arrived home safely at 3 am this morning, tired but happy after a fantastic week at Villa Filip. The villa looked wonderful on your website but we thought it was even better in reality, more spacious than it looked in the video and we fell in love with it from the first moment. The welcome hamper was there and was very welcome! The whole villa was spic and span and there is nothing I can find any fault with whatsoever. Because we arrived at the villa late we didn't see Nicole until Tuesday morning, but she was most helpful and gave us some useful pointers on days out. She recommended the Wavedancer firework cruise which we went on on Friday and she was right, it was a wonderful evening out. The food was good and plentiful, the show and the singers were excellent and we enjoyed it all. In truth we hardly stirred from the villa all week, with occasional trips to Philippos supermarket, but did eat out a few times. The King Solomans Tavern served excellent food and although the a la carte prices were a little high they offered us the set menu 3 course meal for 10 Euros which was excellent value. The staff were very helpful. We also had another lovely meal at Anesi restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. We went to the George, mainly because they had set up a huge outdoor TV screen to watch the England world cup game, and we had a meal before the match. The new owners had only been there for 6 weeks and some items on the menu were not available yet, but what we did have was good. They even offered a free chicken curry to everyone at half time, although we didn't have it. The place was packed out and the staff did well to cope! We went to the Paphos Bird and Animal Park after checking out of the villa on Sunday and popped into the restaurant there for a meal. The portions were very generous and I had the biggest chicken and mushroom pie I have ever seen. The food was excellent quality too and very inexpensive! We learned valuable lessons in what not to take to the villa! We took far too many clothes and really spent most of the week in just swimming cossies and took most of the T-shirts, shorts, underwear back home unused. We won't take the laptop or satnav next time as there was little mapping available. We took our own beach towels for the sunbeds, but in the event there were lots of towels in the villa and Filip said we were welcome to use these. Although we went to look at Coral Bay beach one evening we actually spent every day by the pool in the villa. It is difficult to think of anything you could have done differently or better and I thank all at Sundance and Filip himself for making it such a lovely holiday. We decided after just one day there that we would come back to Villa Filip next year for 2 weeks, and I have already submitted a booking application this morning. I will book the flights later in the year and I am assuming the flights from Bournemouth will be on a Sunday again next year. If not I may need to change the booking slightly but we will definitely be going! Thanks again, Irene
The villa and service from Sundance Villas has far exceeded expectations!
By Jill Ward on 30-Sep-2015
We are now unfortunately back in the UK after a wonderful week at Villa Filip. The villa and service from Sundance Villas has far exceeded expectations and we would like to thank you, Nicole and Filip for making us so welcome. A week was just not long enough but we managed to relax in total peace and what a joy it was not to have others to consider when using a pool and finding somewhere to chill out for the day, hotels will no longer be an option! We worked our way through some of the restaurant recommendations and would like to mention that at Viklari Taverna you must book to get a table overlooking the gorge and on the day we visited there was no choice of menu, only bar b que meat with salad and it didn't seem it would be different at any other time. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the journey there is on unmade roads but is well worth the effort. Your fact sheet and advice were extremely helpful and we would have missed some of the highlights of our holiday if you and previous clients had not taken the trouble to share their experiences. We will definitely be using Sundance Villas again now that we have found you.
By Susan Barrett on 16-Sep-2015
Dear Irene, We had a lovely holiday the villa was perfect, Nicole and Filip are very nice and helpful people. We did manage to lock ourselves out and Filip was with us within 5 minutes. We would definitely go back maybe towards the end of the year, so I will be in contact with you again. Again thank you!
By Jenny & Nigel on 29-Aug-2015
The villa was very comfortable with all and more mod cons than we would expect. Mr Michael did come round and Philip came round twice! Both very pleasant and very helpful! Thank you for the cake, which we loved and the wine, which we also loved! Thank you so much for recommending Villa Filip and Cy Breeze who were also brilliant. I cannot think of anything that would have improved our stay and yes we will be raving about Sundance Villas to all family and friends! Many many thanks - we are already missing getting up and going for a dip in the pool!
Most fantastic time at Villa Filip. It was home from home, we wanted for nothing!
By Sandie Allison on 25-Jul-2015
Hi Irene We have just had the most fantastic time at Villa Filip. It was home from home, we wanted for nothing. Usually we have to buy bin bags, loo rolls, cleaning products etc. but it was all provided & plenty of bath towels. The villa is just perfect we loved it!! We want to return next year but as usual it is a nightmare with Mels hols!! I can only arrange it when he gets back to the UK in January. The villa is in a fantastic position. Philip is a great character & very welcoming. The Sunset restaurant, (20 mins walk) is good value & very nice food, also Anesti restaurant, (15 mins walk) on the main road left out of the villa is excellent. Villa Filip has spoiled us now as it was so comfortable. Fantastic hol, thanks Irene for arranging everything & thanks to Nicole. I will be in touch next year. Can you keep Villa Filip secret so it is always available for us ha ha! Best Regards Sandie Sandie Allison Ivybridge (Booking with you every year, different villas, since 1992)
Recommend the villa to anyone who is happy to have their own peace and tranquility on holiday
By Alan R. on 13-Jun-2015
Hi Irene I can absolutely say we had a fantastic time - it was just what we needed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa to anyone who is happy to have their own peace and tranquility on holiday. We took your recommendations to heart and all but one of the places we ate was on your list and all turned out to be fantastic for one reason or another - the one we didn't was the Sxxxxx Taverna in Agio Georgios which was dreadful and we only went there because we couldn't find the Sea Caves Taverna, which we did and enjoyed the following evening. We did a range of things from lunch at the top of the gorge for my birthday, to the Baths of Aphrodite Taverna and on the last day we travelled up to the Kannayiou Dam and then to lunch at Statios Ayios-Fotios, with the green roof - the best kebab we have ever had! Your list definitely made a difference to us being able to go out with confidence and enjoy our holiday experience in a country we had not visited before from day one - we would love to go back!
