Villa was really beautiful with sensational views... we had the best time
We rented this truly stunning villa overlooking the beautiful Agni Bay in the May half term with another family, our party totaled 4 children (between 4 & 8years old) and 4 adults. The villa is as beautiful as the photos suggest and was perfectly prepared for us on arrival. The owner Linda even arranged for the local store to deliver some provisions and bottled water from a shopping list we sent her in case we were delayed. We had a fantastic week there, really relaxed, even with the children. We hired a boat from Agi Boat Hire on a couple of days and cruised the coastline, ate regularly in the Agni Taverna and the children loved the snack bar on the beach clearing them out of ice creams. At the villa the swimming pool was fenced in, plenty of space of everyone to relax in a very well equipped and beautiful home. The locals were amazing and always really friendly to the children, the local food was stunning and prices reasonable All in all, we were sad to leave Agni and the Villa... Linda the owner was always easy to deal with, had great tips on where to eat and car hire, quick to respond to questions during the booking process and when we were there. You won't be disappointed if you book this villa, it's amazing!
As a travel agent, I spend my life booking holidays for others and am consequently rather picky about the quality of my own holiday! We have just returned from 2 weeks in this villa and had a wonderful time. Extremely well positioned for exploring this part of Corfu with a rental boat from Agni Boats. If this property suits you budget, there is really no reason not to book it now ........
Walking through the front door took our breath away. The villa is simply beautiful, and the feeling of space and privacy is exceptional. You walk through the high-ceilinged main room out onto the large shady terrace, to be met with the most amazing view from Agni bay across the sea to mountains on the mainland beyond. Indeed its that view and the wonderful open feeling of space that makes this place special. The villa is arranged over a series of terraces which means you can always find a spot in the sun or shade as you want. The pool is secluded and private yet has that view and sense of space. Inside is extremely comfortable and theres everything you need including a modern kitchen and slick ensuite bathrooms. We made good use of the barbeque (on one of the upper terraces!) and enjoyed music in the evenings courtesy of the state of the art Sonos system. We took the short walk from the villa to Agni bay many times, to enjoy coffee and food at the tavernas (recommended!), to swim in the sea and to hire a boat. The boat was great fun, we explored up the coast finding almost deserted bays and beaches for swimming, and villages to moor up and have lunch at a great waterside tavernas. Villa Pericles is a fantastic place for a complete break and retreat from real life. A memorable moment was sitting late out on the terrace with a glass of wine watching a large red moon rise impossibly over that view. Magical. We had a simply brilliant week and will be returning as soon as possible!
Enjoyed every part of our stay at the stunning Villa Pericles, fantastic views over Agni bay, really well appointed Villa, great pool, ideal for our children 9,10 and 13. Local restaurant were very friendly and good food, hire a boat from the Agni boat hire and explore the coves the kids loved it, threw the anchor down in some fantastic spots swam and explored. Very chilled week loved it, we will be back.
Our family of 5 have just returned from our holiday in this beautiful villa. It is spacious with lots of shady/sunny areas to suit everyone. The infinity pool is divine and kept beautifully clean, as is the rest of the outside areas. I just can't fully kdescribe the views , they are truly spectacular due to the villa's position high up above the bay. My, how we've missed those views at breakfast since we returned! Agni is such a pretty little bay, sitting at one of the eateries by the water is heavenly. We also ventured out to Kassiopi which is lovely in the evening with some lovely restaurants too. Back to the villa, it has been decorated very tastefully, it's also extremely comfortable with fine lock down nets at every window, so as long as they're kept closed you're not bothered by flies etc. The bedrooms are air conditioned , so nice and cool for sleeping. Everything you need for a great holiday is at the villa, It's absolutely home from home even down to the lovely lavender cushions in the wardrobes etc. Lovely touches indeed. We've taken countless photo's and videos so that we can transport ourselves back at any time and look again at those views! Very highly recommended.
