Wow! Where do we even start? The villa and its setting overlooking the protected Natura and Lake Korission (and Ionian Sea beyond) is just heavenly. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and furnished. Calming, cool decor and a selection of outdoor seating areas. We used all of them at different times of the day! The villa is perfectly equipped with literally everything you could need. It’s a private and secluded property. Not overlooked at all and an uninterrupted view to the lake and sea. A hire car is a great idea, however, for various reasons, we didn’t hire a car. That wasn’t a problem. The owners, Richard & Karen, live next door and are there if you need them but equally leave you alone to enjoy the tranquility. They went above and beyond for us. They helped with shopping and buying bottled water. They took us out to tavernas and the beach. They are simply the best! Karen arranged a massage for me which was sublime. I had the most amazing aromatherapy massage outside by the pool. Karen also lent me a yoga mat and some light weights so I could continue a bit of exercise while I was there. We enjoyed some early morning walks down to the lake too. We loved the planet-protectiveness of the villa and being able to flush toilet tissue down the loo was a bonus for Greece! I can’t recommend this villa enough and will definitely book again in the future. The rental price is a quite a high price point BUT, when you get there, you can see why. I haven’t felt so relaxed on holiday for a very long time and I’m already missing eating my breakfast under the olive tree in my PJs! It is WELL WORTH saving up for. I’ve probably forgotten loads of things but I really hope this gives you a flavour for this wonderful property and vista. You won’t be disappointed. We have stayed in many villas and this is by far the most superior. Richard and Karen are always in the background making sure you have everything you need without being intrusive. By the end of our stay they had become good friends and we were sorry to leave. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable. The villa has everything you need and there was a very welcome hamper with bread, cheese, ham, snacks, cookies, water, olive oil (from Richard and Karen's own olives) etc so we didn't need to find a supermarket as soon as we got there. We hired a car and enjoyed exploring the south of the island but were equally happy relaxing at the villa enjoying the peace and quiet and absorbing the stunning views. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough and can't wait to return.

We booked Villa Natura for a much delayed and much-needed wedding anniversary celebration. It was everything we wanted and more. The villa itself was beautifully designed and built (by the owners) with every detail thought through. It was especially lovely to have a completely private location and our own pool, very rare for a villa for only 2 people. The view was simply stunning, looking down from the hillside over a nature reserve and lake populated by flamingoes to the sea beyond. We did need to drive everywhere as the villa was tucked away down a long track well away from the road and any shops, but this was made clear in the description, and there were some lovely tavernas within a few minutes' drive and supermarkets slightly further away. Last but not least, our hosts, Karen and Richard (who live next door), were lovely. They were friendly and attentive but discreet, letting us get on with things but ready to offer help/make suggestions when needed. We're already planning a return visit!
