Lovely little spot in a super location. Easy to get into Corralejo and to explore the north of the island. I recommend exploring El Cotillo and the coastal sandy track/road to Corralejo - the beaches and the views are amazing. The house had everything we needed, was really clean and tidy and the availability of Wi-Fi and English TV meant that we didn’t need to go out every evening for entertainment. The pool is just a little plunge pool which although lovely in summer was a little chilly for us in November. The patio area is private but I imagine in summer it would be noisy when all the neighbouring properties are occupied and families spend more time outdoors. A super find. Easy and straightforward to book through Micheal.
We arrived not knowing whether the villa would be as good as the pictures showed after all the lockdown problems, but it was and more. The first thing we were worried about was the settees as a lot of holiday places use cheap uncomfortable ones. Two beautiful leather settees which were also beds but never realised this for three weeks. The bed was very comfortable in the double room. The villa was very clean and some nice touches like a cupboard of books and one of games. The tv system was amazing. We could even watch our local news channel. And such choices of other channels. The pool outside was small but great for cooling down as the patio was spacious and private. Heated to 32’ which was just right. And so quiet. For the more energetic there is a 9 mtre pool around the corner to which the villa is a member. Very quiet. Saw six others over the six weeks we were there. But it is colder. Lol. Once your in it’s fine. It is a little way out of Coreleco but the bus is hourly except 20.30 ??? and costs €1.40, taxi to town 8€ Ten minutes to town in either. Nice bar restaurant across the road and a pizzeria next door to the bar. Very reasonable prices. Overall 10/10. We will be returning soon. Pete & Jan
Everything from booking to the end of the holiday was simply brilliant! The villa is a wonderful little gem, that left us pleasantly surprised and incredibly happy that we stayed here! The Villa was very clean and tidy, had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay and the managers of the villa were friendly and very helpful! We are very thankful for letting us stay here and when we come back to Fuerteventura, we will be coming back to this Villa! Location is fantastic for Corralejo, the pool is the perfect size for younger children and when heated, is lovely! Thank you again!
From start to finish our holiday at Casa Miguel was wonderful. Michael dealt with all correspondence promptly and efficiently. Damien and Martina who manage the property, were always on hand and again helpful and easy to deal with. The orientation of the villa is ideal, as you can find sun or shade on the patio area at any time of the day. We were there for the whole of February and as stated in a previous review the sun is still on the covered seating area until 5.30pm in the evening. It is also pretty sheltered from the breeze and we found it warm enough to sit out every day and even utilised the pool on most days. The Wifi speeds were good and the tv package including English channels was very reliable and an added bonus. A car is pretty essential, however there is a decent bus service and taxis are readily available if preferred. It takes approximately 5 minutes to reach the large Mercadona and the newly built Lidl (which is next door) by car and there is a well stocked SuperDino a short stroll away from the villa. An extra couple of minutes in the car will take you to the wonderful beaches or the bustling town and restaurants. All in all 10/10 for this holiday. We have already made our reservation for 2023 and can't wait. Thank you team for making our holiday such an enjoyable experience. See you soon.
Beautyfull place, with hall the accommodation needed. We enjoy it and look forward to repeat again and obviously in the same house!
This lovely villa is set in the quieter residential location of Tamaragua, just 10 mins drive away from the centre of Corralejo. On arrival the villa was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a home from home comfortable stay. There was a lovely plunge pool in the garden and an outdoor brick built bbq, with sunbeds and chairs scattered around the garden. If you're after a relaxing, quiet place to stay, then this is a little gem! A very well stocked supermarket is just a stones throw away from the house, along with a little bar that serves basic meals, and the bus stops and taxi rank are located just outside. Buses are reliable, and run every hour on the half hour, you will need the number 8 bus to take you into the town, and you can either get off at the waterpark entrance at the top of the town, or stay on the bus further into the town. Just 1.40 euro each way! The communal pool is just a minutes walk away, located just around the corner from the villa, and although we did not try it, it looked lovely! Really clean with ample sunbeds. The neighbours in the area were really friendly and helpful, and suggested some lovely places to visit. The Grande Playa is a fantastic beach fairly nearby (catch the number 8 bus into Corralejo, then cross the road and catch the number 6 bus to the beach). It is huge, with beautiful white sand and a lovely little beach cafe. In Corralejo right down near the harbour is a lovely little tapas bar, where they serve 50 different types of tapas (try the lamb lollipops, they are divine). The manager Simon is lovely, and he also runs a fantastic minibus excursion (Go Go Canaries) which takes in several areas of interest around the island. An absolutely fabulous day, taking in the coastal caves with stunningly beautiful views across the coastline and mountains, driving through sleepy Spanish villages up to the old capital of the island, with the beautiful old church and monastery, and a lovely little cafe that does a fabulous plum pie, driving up through the mountains at the very top of the island there are some incredibly beautiful views, and you can watch the little chipmunks playing amongst the rocks, and finally finishing the day with a wonderful deluxe picnic, with champagne at El Cortilla beach watching the sunset. A fantastic day out and definitely worth doing. Overall we had a fantastic stay, and we would not hesitate booking again. Great value for money! Thank you Michael!
