To the south of the town lies the famous sand dunes [ Las Grandes Playas] which is a protected nature reserve stretching for approx. 8 kilometres and over looked by the islands picturesque mountains. Visit the white sands and crystal clear waters of the many beaches. There is a favourite beach for all.
