We spent a month at the villa in February - the weather was wonderful so we could really appreciate the fantastic villa. It was a great base in which to explore the area and we had a truly relaxing holiday

A beautiful, well maintained villa with so much to offer in an amazing location, secluded yet close to local amenities. The 360 views from the villa over the sea and mountains are spectacular, we are already missing them! This villa itself is set in large plot with a private gated entrance, fabulous pool and a large veranda where we spent many evenings enjoying the stunning sunset views. Thoughtfully designed to create sheltered dining and lounging areas with additional sun lounging area around the large heated swimming pool, just perfect! The villa is immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped with a choice of bedrooms and contemporary bathrooms. The location is great, not too far from the airport, approx 45 minutes, and only a 10 minute drive to the promenade, restaurants, supermarket and bars. We enjoyed amazing weather for November and highly recommend this beautiful villa as the perfect place to anyone who is looking for tranquility and relaxation, ideal location for family and friends. We recommend a trip to El Acebuchal restaurant for lunch in the ‘Lost Village’, must book in advance. Nerja and Frigiliana for their quaint Spanish cobbled streets, bars and restaurants, perfect for enjoying traditional tapas! For amazing fish and beach view try La Farola on the Torrox promenade. We spent 7 days at the beautiful Casa Lena Finca Del Sol over October half term 2023. It was our first holiday alone together and was nothing short of perfection. To get there, we were met in the nearby town of Torrox and guided up to the villa. It was a short and simple drive up and the owners’ directions were easy-to-follow and absolutely spot on. On arrival, we were awestruck at the location - the views of the mountains and sea are absolutely phenomenal! We had total privacy at the villa, so it certainly felt like our own luxury retreat for the week. We felt like celebrities! The outside is gorgeously done, with plenty of seating options and the large pool takes centre stage. This is where we spent the majority of our time for the week and we couldn’t fault it. Inside, the villa was spacious, spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. We had our choice of 3 gorgeous rooms (we didn’t need the annex so hadn’t booked this). All of the beds were comfy and we slept soundly each night. The indoor and outdoor kitchens had everything we needed to cook and eat at the Villa without any hassle or headaches. The sofas in the lounge were super comfy and we loved having the smart tv with the ability to access our favourite streaming services. With it being late October, we loved cuddling up on the sofa as the temperatures dropped a little in the evenings. We felt totally comfortable - a home away from home! The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing some great tips on where to eat and what to do. We ventured out into Torrox a few times to explore the area, stroll along the beach, do a spot of shopping and to have a bite to eat. We loved the beachfront restaurant, Chiringuito Mambo, and returned to eat there a few times for lunch and dinner! We sat on the beach on one afternoon, but it was quite windy and we were missing our lovely private pool, so we soon returned to our gorgeous villa! The villa was beautiful, clean and well-maintained - it had everything we needed for a memorable and romantic holiday, full of fun. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in a gorgeous, sunny, secluded location.
