Description
Villa Bryony is a detached 5 bedroom property with all accommodation at ground level. The property is fully secured by high walls and lockable gates to both driveway (with space for 2 cars) and personal gate entrance. Perfect for a quiet, secure and private holiday in the sun! Once through the gates, there is a landscaped garden area along the front of the property, together with paths leading to the rear and to the front door. The front door opens into the semi-open plan living quarters. In front of you is the spacious dining area which opens out to the right into the lounge area. High vaulted ceilings provide a nice airy and spacious feel. Entertainment is provided by the flat screen TV & DVD player (bring your own DVDs or make use of our DVD library!) - Villa Bryony has a full Sky subscription including Sky sports & Sky movies.To your right is the kitchen area containing everything you should need for your holiday, whether you plan on cooking your own meals or just snacking in & taking advantage of the many restaurants along the sea front & nearby. Equipment all approved by my Mother In Law who has spent the last 10 years on villa holidays with us inspecting the kitchen for gadgets as soon as we arrive!
Through the kitchen into a second lounge area complete with TV, DVD player & sofa- an ideal spot for the kids to chill out. And off this room is a twin bedroom, as well as a shower room.
Turn left instead from the main entrance and you find yourself moving through to bedrooms and bathrooms. 3 more ensuite bathrooms and a main bathroom, plus 3 double bedrooms with king size beds and 1 twin room. 2 double rooms face out onto the rear terrace and pool area and have access via patio doors.
All 5 bedrooms, plus the lounge, have air conditioning units available, these work on a pay as you go basis using a coin operated meter. If it isn't quite warm enough for the AC, then there are a few freestanding fans for use if required.
Step straight ahead, past the dining area & out onto the rear terrace and you remain fully secluded with nobody & no property overlooking you. The heated pool, complete with Jacuzzi section in the end, is a joy to behold and there's plenty of room for lounging around and working on that tan with the provided sunbeds. You can even have a pre or post-swim shower in the outdoor, "rustic" shower. For a little more entertainment there is a table tennis table and pool table out on the rear terrace too, as well as an outdoor seating/eating area for those who like to eat Al Fresco. at the end of the terrace is of course the obligatory Canarian Barbecue area, ideal for a bit of outdoor home cooking.
If the sun gets too much for you then the covered area of terrace offers some shade.
Smoking is NOT permitted indoors, but is permitted out on the terraced areas, we kindly ask that cigarette butts are not discarded on the floor.
The pool measures 3.6m wide by 6.8m long (excluding Jacuzzi section which adds another 1.8m) and is 1m - 1.6m deep. The heater is set at 28 degrees and you can help to maintain this by making use of the fitted cover when the pool is not in use. When the sun is shining (when isn't it in the Canaries?!) the pool has the added benefit of solar heating.
The garden area makes sure you don't forget you are on a tropical break - with the wide array of Bird of Paradise plants, palm trees, there are even lemons & limes growing (feel free to pick 1 or 2 to garnish your holiday drinks!) - or how about a grapefruit (all subject to ripeness & seasons!)
Please note the price tariff applies to parties of up to 6 guests, and bookings of 7 nights or more. A charge of £10 per person per night will apply to bookings of more than 6 guests, and a short stay charge will apply to bookings of less than 7 nights. The Canarian government has also recently imposed IGIC (Spanish VAT) on holiday lets and unfortunately this will need to be added too, at 7%.
Discounts are available for stays extending beyond 2 weeks.

By Lynn Hawkins on 13-Nov-2023This villa is lovely and very big the pictures don't do it justice. It has everything you need for a great holiday. We stayed here for 2 weeks and didn't want to leave. Everyone enjoyed the pool, we couldn't get the grandchildren out of it. It's in a great quiet location with friendly neighbours. Just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. There are many great restaurants in the area and a very nice beach. We would definitely return.
Lovely week with our family

It’s perfect to get the family together clean and modern with a lovely pool that the grandchildren love. Villa Bryony is a proper home from home Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and the Kitchen is fully equipped. The location is perfect 10 minutes drive from the airport and we had welcome pack waiting with everything you need when you arrive and as we didn’t arrive till 10 pm we were so grateful for the food and drink left for us especially as we had children with us, and the adults enjoyed the beer and Preseco. It’s also a 10 to 15 minute walk to Lidl to get stocked up, and a 15 minute walk to the front. We got a couple of taxis back from the front at the cost of about 4euros. Cannot wait to go back we love it.

We 1st came in 2017 and we've been every year since.The villa is very private and secure with residential properties around it .There is plenty of outdoor space for the little ones and plenty of seating for the adults and the pool is just perfect lots of room for a large family - between 8 and 12 people when we go with lots of palm trees and gorgeous flowers and bushes set all around. Inside is very spacious plenty of storage space in each generous sized bedroom with most bedrooms having their own ensuite bathrooms .The kitchen is a good size and has everything you need. Has space for a car .10 minute taxi from the airport. 5 minute taxi to the strip and beach.All in all a fantastic villa we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

Big and beautiful and quit villa.
By carlo h. on 25-Mar-2019We were there with my family. 6 persons. The villa is good situated. 20 min walk or 3.50 euro with the taxi to the town. 3 big bathrooms. Nice pool and bbq. Kitchen like it should to be. Fast response from the host. The dogs from the neighboors are not an problem. For us it was 5 stars. Thank you.
Lovely villa holiday
By Steve J. on 17-Sep-2019Just arrived home from an 11 night stay at Villa Bryony. The villa was everything we had hoped it would be and more. We were a party of 12 ( 7 adults and 5 kids) it was brilliant from start to finish and the kids especially loved the pool. The Villa itself is a little out of the way from the main areas of Puerto Del Carmen but that does mean it’s nice and quiet, and it’s around a 10-15 minute walk to the bars,shops and restaurants and less than €5 in a taxi. We tended to walk down and get a taxi back as it’s slightly uphill. The villa really does have everything and the guys loved to cook on the BBQ. The pool table and table tennis table have seen better days but are both still usable. Also having sky tv and a ps3 were great additions to keep everyone entertained. PDC can be very windy at times but it helps to keep you cool when it gets hot. We ate out at the harbour 1 night which is very nice and had a Chinese delivered to the villa so you don’t have to cook every night. Stuart the owner is always on the end of an email if there are any problems and responds very quickly. I really can’t recommend this villa highly enough and we definitely intend to return. If you do visit this villa I can also recommend the catamaran Catalanza...... I took my wife on it as a surprise for her birthday it is absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. Thanks again to Stuart for the use of your beautiful villa
