Quinta dos Sorrisos is a charming and restful oasis in the coastal countryside where one can mainly hear the birds and the silence. ● Our two typical Portuguese houses (tastefully renovated, designed & exceptionally well-equipped for carefree vacation and winter stays) stand next to a large organic garden and 2,6 hectares of land. ● We are only a short drive or bike ride to Moncarapacho (2,5 km), Ria Formosa natural park (3 km), nearest beach in Fuseta (5 km), ferries and train station in Fuseta, as well as near Olhão (10 km), picturesque Tavira (15 km), Faro (20), and Spain (45 km). ● Also, we're merely 130 km from Sagres (the Algarve's westernmost city). ● You are welcome to stay with us while you explore and enjoy the beautiful and sunny Algarve with its friendly locals and delicious food.

APARTMENT FLAMINGO in our lovely farmhouse has a combo of living and eating room with fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom (incl. washing machine). Its bedroom is facing east and a private veranda, has a comfortable king size bed (mattress 180 x 200 cm), lots of wardrobe space, a mezzanine with two single beds (mattresses 80 x 200 cm), and access to covered patio. Ceiling fans, air conditioners, and floor heating assure our guests' year-round comfort.
STUDIO FIGUEIRA in the left wing of our lovely farmhouse is facing east and west. It has fully equipped kitchen, living and eating room combined with bedroom, a separate bathroom (incl. washing machine), and access to a semi-private veranda and covered patio. It has a comfortable king size bed (mattress 180 x 200 cm), a bunk bed (mattresses 90 x 200 cm), and a big wardrobe. Ceiling fan, air conditioner, and floor heating assure our guests' year-round comfort.
Our QUINTINHA - FARMHOUSE has three rooms and can host a bigger family or a group of friends (up to 7-8 people), if one or two people sleep on a sofa bed (110 x 200 cm) in the living room. Farmhouse's facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, a combo of eating & living room, a bathroom, a laundry tower, and a separate toilet. There's also a cosy covered patio with eating table in front of the farmhouse.
Rooms ROMÃZEIRA and OLIVEIRA are on the ground floor of our Quintinha, next to each other, furnished with comfy double beds (mattresses 180 x 200 cm and 140 x 200 cm), wardrobe space, and a ceiling fan. Romãzeira room has also a private shower and a sink. PINHEIRO room is the only one on the first floor. It has a comfy double bed (mattress 140 x 200 cm), wardrobe space, a private shower and a sink, as well as a private terrace with sun loungers. Air conditioners in all rooms assure our guests' year-round comfort.
TERRACOTTA room, a charming guest room in the main house, is south facing, with a comfortable queen-size bed (mattress 160 x 200 cm), some wardrobe space, and a private bathroom. Ceiling fan, air conditioner and floor heating assure our guests' year-round comfort. Shared with the hosts: kitchen, eating room, laundry tower (washing machine & dryer), outside kitchen with barbecue, and an inviting covered veranda in front of the house.
● Bed linen, towels, bath towels, beach towels, a hairdryer, and all essential toiletries (soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) are provided. ● A variety of hot drinks, filtered water and ice cubes from the fridge, and oranges for a delicious fresh juice are at your disposal almost the whole year, as well as some cooking essentials and a selection of spices and condiments. ● PRACTICAL HINT: Pack only clothes, toiletries and personal items, buy food and drinks nearby - everything else is already waiting for you.
● All our guests can also enjoy a huge TERRACE on the main house with sun loungers and countryside view, as well as the VERANDA in front of the main house where guests can join hosts for a drink, chat, and quite often also a home made dessert. ● You will be invited to stroll around and explore our ORGANIC GARDEN, enjoy fresh mint & herbs, and - if lucky enough to come while in season - you'll be able to pick our delicious figs and grapes. ● And you might not forget our house speciality either: mouth-watering FIGGIES!
● For getting around, you'll be able to choose among our vast selection of BICYCLES, free of charge. ● Our guests can use our "equipemnt" for sport and social activities (e.g. badminton, pétanque, sjoelbak, table football, cornhole, lots of board games etc.). ● If interested, you can book a MASSAGE treatment, a private YOGA class or a (vegan) COOKING experience, all held on our premises upon request. ● With your hosts, you can also learn some essentials about gardening, drying veggies/fruits/herbs, baking bread, etc. ● Transport, sightseeing, BREAKFAST and other MEALS can be assured upon prior agreement. ● Well, you can find more details on our web site (in 8 languages), including our DISCOUNTS and PROMOTIONS.
● Nine adorable FURRY FRIENDS keep us company: two German boxers (Tara & Yuna) and seven cats (long story). Both our boxers are friendly and playful; however, if you are afraid of dogs or allergic to cats, our Quinta is not the right choice for you. ● Our farm has also been enriched this year by the HEN HOUSE, and our eight hens are already laying some eggs a week. ● Yes, life on our Quinta is truly colourful, fruitful, and relaxing.
