This luxury villa offers the wonderful compromise of tranquility and privacy whilst being the first in a row of 4 villas each set in its own grounds on the hillside, so you won’t feel isolated. Everything you need is there and our representatives Claire and Scott who live nearby are on hand to offer help if needed and share expert local knowledge
With private pool (which can be heated on request in the winter, to enable you to take advantage of an extended holiday season),and full air-conditioning and under-floor heating throughout. The villa is situated on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Chrysochous Bay. On a large plot with upper and lower gardens with fruit trees, palms and local flowering plants and shrubs among meandering paths leading to sunbathing patios and quiet sail-shaded areas.
Families are welcome and when the sun is at its hottest there is plenty at the villa to keep children occupied with a shaded basement with table football, a full-sized table tennis table, books, games, iPod docking stations, TV and a selection of DVDs.
The views of Chrysochous Bay and Latchi harbour are breathtaking with the hills beyond as a backdrop. The small traditional hilltop village of Neo Chorio is a short walk away, and the surrounding Akamas nature reserve is a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers.
The villa has a number of eco-friendly facilities including solar-heated water, solar-powered pool pump, garden lighting and organic waste disposal.
Outside The Villa,“Luxury with a view”
The outside area of Villa Mia has been designed for summer living, from that first morning coffee to an evening meal with distant lights twinkling over the bay as a backdrop. From the lounge area two sets of patio doors give a fabulous view and lead out onto a spacious covered veranda with cushioned seating. An ideal place to sit before dinner admiring the beautiful views across the bay and hills beyond, while having a pre-dinner drink.
The veranda leads onto the outside garden kitchen area which maximizes time spent outside in the warmer months during the daytime or evening. You can have a cocktail at the outside bar and chat to other guests whilst the ‘chef’ prepares the evening meal, then dine by candle light in the gazebo under a starlit sky.
The beautiful mature gardens are planted with fruit trees, palms and local flowering plants, allowing you to find quiet shaded areas for an afternoon doze or to just sit under a tree to read, or play a game of backgammon or dominoes.
A chill-out open basement area overlooks the private 8 x 4 metre pool (ideal for supervising young children in the water) and provides another large shaded area with ceiling fan and cushioned sofas. It has kitchen facilities, large fridge/freezer for poolside drinks and snacks and a shower room with WC . The basement is equipped with professional table football, an ipod docking station, snorkeling gear and various pool and beach toys. Also at pool level are numerous sun loungers, cushioned rattan armchairs, sun umbrellas, and a full-sized table tennis table for the more energetic guests!
