A Gem Of A Villa

By Cheryl D on 02-Sep-2017

No hesitation whatsoever in awarding 5 stars!

Villa Kasim is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and occupies a superb position on the edge of Ozankoy village. We have stayed in many villas throughout the Mediterranean and would say that in terms of cleanliness and maintenance,( both inside and out), Villa Kasim beats them all. As soon as we walked in, we felt immediately comfortable and at home - every need has been provided for and the place is light, spacious and tranquil. We were very pleasantly surprised by how secluded the pool area is with it's charming wrap around garden and delightful views towards the mountains and Bellapais. We spent many relaxing days enjoying the outside space with the only noise coming from the cicadas occupying the villa's olive trees. However, due to the incredible heat and the need of a cooling breeze, we often ventured to Turtle Beach or the fabulous bathing facilities offered by The Korineum Golf Club, where incidentally you can get a great lunch. Eating out is a pleasure in North Cyprus - our favourite restaurants included "The Kitchen", "The Dragon" & "The Ambience" - all offering an extensive menu with good value for money.

A hire car is essential and we had terrific service from Karapasha. In fact, the whole of our holiday came with great customer service - from the first tentative enquiry, we felt totally reassured by the villa owner, who provided us with useful information and advice and handled our reservation efficiently and with a personal touch.Furthermore, the villa managers in resort offered a warm welcome and excellent tips and are on-hand should you need them throughout your stay.

We had a truly fabulous stay at Villa Kasim and I would defy anyone not to have a comfortable, relaxing and very memorable holiday there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A Lovely Detached Villa A Short Walk From Ozankoy

By Bob And Lyn J on 25-Jul-2017

A beautiful and well equipped villa that has everything you need for a quiet and tranquil holiday.

The villa is spotlessly clean as are the gardens and pool, villa managers Ingrid and Ziggy are on hand to answer any questions and sort out any problems should they arise.

The villa is in walking distance of a number of restaurants and many more are within a 5-10 minute drive and Kyrenia and the beaches are a short drive away.

We have stayed at Villa Kasim twice and already booked for next year and we would have no hesitation in recommending the villa to any one looking for a quiet and restfull holiday.

Lovely Quiet And Tranquil Villa With Pool

By Bob And Lyn J on 08-Jul-2016

Although we gave been visiting Northern Cyprus for the last 15 years it was our first stay at Villa Kasim. The Villa was very clean and had all the amenities needed plus wi fi is avaliable. The pool and gardens are lovely and secluded with plenty of shaded areas for dining or for a leisurely drink. Housekeepers Ingrid and Ziggy always on hand for any help or advice.

Ideally you need a car to see the surrounding area and sights and also for shopping from the local supermarkets, although there are a number of restaurants within walking distance and taxis are very reasonable. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa and we will definately be booking to stay again.

Second Visit Every Bit As Wonderful As The First

By Lynne I on 09-Jun-2016

This was our second visit to this wonderful villa, we immediately felt at home on walking through the door. The villa was immaculate with everything you could possibly need, we couldn't wait to get into the pool which is a really decent size. The weather was in the 30's all week and the pool was a good temperature. We drove to Famagusta this time which was well worth the visit. There are some excellent local restaurants within walking distance and a couple of friendly bars. We hired a car from Karpasha and sons which do a special deal for guests at Villa Kasim, we were picked up at the airport and the car was delivered to the villa on arrival. The car was clean, modern and reliable, we can recommend Karpasha who were friendly and efficient. Ingrid and Ziggy the caretakers were so helpful and once again we arrived to a very good welcome package, beer wine bread jam butter etc so no need to go shopping immediately. There are lots of extremely cheap supermarkets in the area. We absolutely love this villa and if you are thinking of booking you certainly won't be disappointed. Thanks again to John and Kath for sharing their home with us.

Beautiful Villa In Lovely Location

By Miriam D on 19-Oct-2015

We have recently returned from our second villa to this villa situated in the quiet village of Ozankoy, just five minutes drive from Kyrenia. The villa is light, spacious, very comfortable and very well maintained and equipped. It is also spotlessly clean. The highlight for us is the outside space with private gardens and a great pool area. We spent many relaxing hours with all meals taken outside. There is a BBQ for guests' use. The villa managers are very welcoming as well As being available for queries at any time. During our stay we visited Bellapais within walking distance, the Karpaz and many of the interesting castles. The villa owners are extremely helpful and this makes the booking process a pleasurable experience. We have already booked for 2016. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect In Every Sense!!

By Lynne I on 06-Jul-2015

We usually stay in a hotel but for a change we decided to rent a villa this year, we are definitely converted, I don't think we have ever had such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday! The villa was immacualte and a lot larger than it looks in the photos, there were just two of us but there is ample space for four. The pool was a good size and cleaned twice a week, it's totally private and we spent many hours just floating around in the afternoon sun. There were several outside areas to sit and relax or eat. Ingrid and Ziggy were so helpful we were left a welcome pack of bread, butter, jam, wine and beer which was really useful. We took advantage of the WiFi for £12 a week which was fast and had a good reception. We found several excellent restaurants and bars in the village and found the locals of be extremely friendly. There is a supermarket nearby and we were amazed at how cheap food and drink is! We always felt safe and would not hesitate to return, I wish we could have stayed for longer. Many thanks to John and Kath for sharing their home with us.

We have just spent a fabulous week at VIlla Kasim. The property offers peace and tranquility and is the perfect place for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday. The villa was exactly as described, very spacious, exceptionally clean and in a perfect location. We spent the week relaxing by the amazing pool, soaking in the glorious sunshine. John and kath provided all the information we needed and we were looked after exceptionally well by Ingrid and izzy., nothing was too much trouble. The only bad thing was having to leave this lovely place, it felt like home. Would recommend to anyone and can't wait till we get the chance to go again.

Spacious Immaculate Villa With Pretty Garden

By Robert L on 27-Jun-2015

Villa Kasim is a lovely, bright, spacious, immaculate villa where everything possible is provided and it all works! There's a pretty garden with lots of trees and shrubs and a backdrop of the mountains behind. There are good patio areas giving a choice of sun or shade in which to chill out. The villa is well managed by Ingrid and Ziggy who left us a welcome card, some nice "starter" provisions and called shortly after our arrival to introduce themselves. The town of Kyrenia is close by with its impressive castle, medieval harbour and lots of eating places. It was a pleasant surprise to find several restaurants in Ozankoy only five/ten minutes walk from the villa so no need to use the car after a long day out and about. The sun shone every day and we had a lovely week!

A 5* Haven Of Peace And Comfort

By A Retired Couple - Devon on 29-May-2015

The property was immaculate - thank you Ingrid and Ziggy. It was a real home from home in a very peaceful place. Plenty of outside furniture for different places to sit and relax. John and Kath provided plenty of information and maps to find the property. Our first 2 days were cold but for the first time we saw the mountains of Turkey - covered in snow!

Ozankoy is a super village and the shop is a real tardis and could provide everything if a trip to a supermarket was unattractive.

We have been to North Cyprus many times and stayed in many different places but this was the best - mainly because everything electrical worked properly!

It is an excellent base for sightseeing and a selection of quiet sandy beaches close by. We like Kantara as it is so quiet among the pine trees with an interesting drive through what was 'original' North Cyprus. A further journey onto the 'panhandle' is a step even further back in time.

We have our favourite eating places but a new one this time was El Limon - near hotel of same name on seafront beyond the harbour. It has had a massive and expensive refurbishment but at the moment (but go soon as we are sure when established the prices will go up!) prices are very competitive and less than we paid at Erols in Ozankoy - a meal we did not enjoy too much.

We can thoroughly recommend this property to the over 55 age group for sightseeing or relaxing.

Villa Kasim A Place To Relax

By John - Limassol on 22-Mar-2015

What a great villa for a relaxing week to get away from it all. Easy to find from the directions given and John and Kath were very helpful. A well laid out villa with good facilities and the secluded patio and pool is perfect for enjoying the sun in privacy. On arrival the property was immaculate and Ingrid and Ziggy were an absolute mine of information on the local facilities and sightseeing opportunities. Kyrenia Castle is a must just 15 mins away with a good meal in Kibris Evi restaurant overlooking the pretty little harbour afterwards. Also St Hilarion Castle but only if you like a climb up the stairs, views are amazing. We came here on the recommendation of a friend and would certainly pass on the recommendation to other friends and family.

Villa Kasim

By Ali And Mike - Northampton on 12-Oct-2014

Walking into the villa for the first time at night was a lovely surprise! All the lights on round the pool, just beautiful. The villa is spacious and light and was immaculately clean. An easy walk into the village where there are several good places to eat - we particularly enjoyed The Corner House.

All highly recommended! Thank you!

Stay Here If You Can!

By Cas57 - Marlborough on 20-Aug-2014

We only had a weeks leave and we had had a tough year..... Villa Kasim gave us a totally peaceful break in breathtaking surroundings and will always be a ' go to place' as far as we are concerned. The villa is equipped to a high standard ( and I am known to be picky)! The high ceilings in the master bedroom and the sitting room gave a cool and spacious feel and the kitchen and outside barbeque meant we could cook for ourselves with ease and no compromise! Local amenities are good and several restaurants are very good in the locality. The local agents were helpful and completely non intrusive and let us just relax. If you want a break that is peaceful and you have high standards this is a sure thing.

Excellent Villa

By Andy And Andrea Pickett - Limassol on 19-Aug-2014

I needed somewhere to de-stress and unwind, this Villa is perfect. Spotless, well maintained and with a meticulous attention to detail. The private pool is just the right size for 4, our daughters aged 21 and 18 certainly appreciated the privacy. A very welcome arrivals pack has everything visitors require until the morning shop, and the location is a 5 minute walk from the local, very well stocked shop. The supermarkets are only 1 Km away with excellent local produce. It is a super location for a quiet break and this Villa is certainly the best we have stayed in. We will hopefully return next year.

A Fabulous Place To Stay In North Cyprus

By Christina B - North Yorkshire on 11-Aug-2014

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing week at Villa Kasim and can only agree with previous comments. The Villa was immaculately clean, spacious and well equipped. It is in a very peaceful location with lovely secluded garden and pool area. The village centre is within easy walking distance, with a shop that seemed to be quite well stocked (though we only found it on our last day!) and a number of restaurants. We had a very enjoyable meal at The Corner House, with friendly service and live music later on in the evening. Kyrenia, with its castle (open until 8pm during the summer) and lovely harbour, is a short drive away. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone planning a holiday to North Cyprus.

Another 5 Stars !!

By Magin Granny - Northamptonshire on 17-Jul-2014

We have had the good fortune to have been able to stay for four weeks at Villa Kasim. This beautiful home was immaculately clean on arrival. The description of Kasim (and photographs) really do not do it justice. The pool is wonderfully kept as are the extensive gardens. They are very private making Kasim a natural choice for honeymooners as once you close the door the world is shut out. It is situated on a very quiet lane a few minutes walk from the village square and a good choice of restaurants. Supermarkets are close by, about a five minute car drive. Kyrenis is approx four miles away and Bellapais with it's beautiful abbey is also a very short drive away. The abbey, which is often light up at night can be seen from the garden. A huge thank you to the local British managers who go far and above what I would normally expect managers to do. They greatly assisted us with car hire, an excellent and clean car, and collected us from and took us back to Larnaca airport. They are a marvellous fount of local and island knowledge and we are both grateful for their help. We ate at Rafters, a local Indian restaurant that also offers European cuisine, several times. The Onion Bhagis we had were quite simply the best we have ever tasted and my husband declared his Chicken Madras great. The staff are lovely and the manager came over several times during each evening to inquire whether all was satisfactory. We also ate at the Malpas hotel several times. The restaurant and outside dining area are lovely. Staff are attentive and the selection at the evening dinner buffet was extensive and of a very good quality. But back to Kasim. This, in short, is an extremely competitively priced, beautifully presented, air conditioned and superbly equipped villa. I have no hesitation in recommending Villa Kasim. Do try it,you will not be disappointed. Told you I should have booked for six weeks Kath !!!

Everything You Could Want !

By Anonymous - Devon on 02-Jun-2014

Villa Kasim is everthing promised on the web site. Plus the added

bonus of british managers on hand for any problems or questions.

This is one of the most relaxing holidays we have had in many years.

The villa is superb, very clean, and well equipped. The added bonus is a beautiful pool which is not spoilt by the use of heavy chemicals. All in all John & Kath have got this very right.

Thank you.

Beautiful North Cyprus Villa

By Miriam D on 23-Oct-2013

A spotlessly clean exceptional villa located on the edge of a lovely quiet village and within easy walking distance of several restaurants. The villa is very well equipped with all that is required for a relaxing holiday. The very well maintained pool and gardens have a lovely view of Bellapais Abbey and the mountains beyond. The managers of the villa have an indepth knowledge of area and this proved invaluable as this was our first visit to North Cyprus. During our two week stay we visited Bellapais Abbey, Girne with its interesting castle and very pretty harbour, St Hilarion, North Nicosia and the unspoilt Karpaz peninsula. We so enjoyed our stay at the Villa Kasim, we have already booked our next stay in 2014.

A Wonderful Week At Villa Kasim

By Brian - Hornchurch, Essex on 18-Sep-2013

A beautiful property set in a quiet spot just outside a friendly village with several family-run restaurants. The villa was spotless and the grounds set amoung attractive plants and fruit trees offered sun and shade and of course these was always the private pool to cool down in.

The area offered lots of interesting visits and Kyrenia, a very pretty harbour, was just a few minutes drive away. The villa is maintained by very helpful managers and our only regret is that we didn't book for longer - there is always next year!

Kasim Villa Northern Cyprus

By Sue - West Midlands on 31-Aug-2013

Just back from a fantastic relaxing holiday and at this villa. Views from the patio toward Bellapais Abbey and the Kyrenia mountains were breath taking. The villa is well equipped, it has a mature orchard with lemon, fig, olive and almond trees and located five minutes walk from the centre of Ozankoy village which has many reasonable priced and good quality restaurants and just 10 minutes car drive to local amenities and supermarket. The villa itself was spotlessly clean, the welcome pack appreciated and the villa managers live locally and went out of their way to ensure our stay was trouble free and gave a wealth of local knowledge. If you are looking for a total relaxing holiday with home comforts this is the place to choose, we will be returning next year.
