We had a lovely one week stay in August. The villa is large and worked well for our family holiday. Sandra was very helpful before our stay, giving us all information that we could have needed and making sure that we had all the baby accessories that a 10 month old might need. We were made very welcome and Sandra was again very helpful when we needed her during our stay. The villa is spacious, it’s great to have so many bathrooms / toilets when there’s a few of you! The pool and grounds are great, lots of room and beautiful surroundings. We have stayed in this area before and love the location of the house. There’s a good selection of shops 10 mins down the road. We visited Castiglione del Lago on a number of occasions, Cortona, Siena & Montepulciano amongst other places.

The house and pool were delightful, comfortable and clean and the owner was extremely helpful and full of interesting ideas and useful suggestion for where to find the best places to eat and shop. Most delightful was the area. So many houses on websites look similar and it can be hard to know exactly what the location is like. This property is so close to so many beautiful towns and villages but there is also the nearby lake and beaches, and the scenery is just as I had imagined. We would love to return here one day and continue exploring this region.

The house was bright airy & spacious - good sized kitchen to accommodate cooks & helpers and a big table to gather round for social evenings. Good sized bedrooms & bathrooms as descried in the itinerary. It's in a quiet location amongst agricultural land and a short drive to good food shops and the lake. It is well located for exploring day trips to Assisi, Montepuliciano , Cortona (to name a few) and still be back in time to soak up the rays by the pool. Sandra was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

Casa Alessandra is the perfect place to enjoy a restful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful Italian countryside. Alessandra gives you a warm welcome when you arrive and shows you around the house which is a converted farm building: it has plenty of rustic charm, but is also full of creature comforts. The large arched window in the kitchen and the balcony offer opportunities to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area. All of the rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The swimming pool is a very good size and the large garden is surrounded by fields, with planting for seclusion by the terrace. The nearby town of Castiglione del Lago offers great views of the lake, a good supermarket and plenty of places to eat. Very happy to recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Alessandra! The countryside is breathtaking and the accommodations were wonderful. We had a really long and exhausting drive on the day of our arrival and although we had seen pictures of the villa on the website, we weren't quite sure what to expect. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the area and the quality of accommodations. It was truly a memorable trip
