So good We've been there twice
By Tony Ormrod on 07-Oct-2015
Coming back to this wonderful villa didn't disappoint. It was how we remembered it, and better, and the pool, oh that fantastic pool. Nine of us in total, looked after by Trish and Phil (the Dynamic Duo) who were attentive, full of useful information, and quick to respond to what we thought was a leaking aircon unit, turned out it was condensation. Plus a beautiful welcome back cake from Sue and Paul. What more can we say, everyone loved it, the pool and the pool table were the most used, we eat out every night then pool side drinks after. Can't wait to come back, but will have to, as almost fully booked for next year... disappointing but so understandable. Thank you all for such a relaxing and enjoyable time. The Ormrod Clan.

A truly stunning, well equipped villa. This villa was so lovely that we were quite happy to spend our days just relaxing by the beautiful pool which came with lilo and woggles. The kitchen had everything you needed plus more and a BBQ and pizza oven outside. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the town and we had lovely meals at all of them. The water sports offered on the beach are a must, lots to choose from and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that I wished we had booked two weeks instead of one, we didn't want to leave. Thank you Sue and Paul for letting us enjoy your beautiful villa.

I booked Villa Medea so that i could celebrate my 60th birthday with family and friends. This was one of the best decisions i have ever made. The villa is superb, it exceeded my expectations and the expectations of my group in so many different ways. From the stunning views over the Ionian sea to the very spacious living areas, this villa has it all. We did try to think of anything that was not provided - we failed. On arrival we were met by Phil who explained the workings of the villa to us. Then to my surprise i was told that there was a birthday cake in the fridge for me, a brilliant touch which was very much appreciated. Our group was made up of 12 people yet we never felt cramped, as the villa is so spacious. Our first night was spent in the Games room, playing Pool, Table Tennis and Table Football, to the strains of Greek music on the CD player, a fantastic way to start our week of total relaxation. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa to anyone and would urge potential guests to jump at the chance, you will not regret it. A massive thank You to Phil and Theresa and also to the owners, you made my birthday so special.

Well what can we say about Villa Medea,...We planned a wedding in Skala and we spoke to the owners via e-mail and asked if they would object to us holding our wedding reception there, we had a party of 10 staying at the villa for the week and the wedding was mid week, The owners got back to us and said they would love us to use the villa for the reception. There is just too much positives about the villa to write down, it's stunning, lovely rooms, comfortable, homely, had a real personal touch, well equipped, pool and pool area is just amazing laying there on the air bed looking over towards the sea gently being moved around by a delicate warm breeze... best way to describe staying in the villa is you really do feel like royalty, a very special place to stay, laundry and house keeping was perfect. The wedding reception was just perfect at the villa and we thank the owners so much for letting us hold it there. We cannot praise the villa enough 12/10 You must stay there and do not bother looking anywhere else. Giles and Karen Fairweather from Ipswich Suffolk

Amazing fantastic luxury villa
By Steve And Family Fareham on 26-May-2014
Wow what a beautiful villa I can honestly say it took our breath away when we saw it. It was our first family holiday with the grandchildren and they did not want too leave. They loved the pool and the games room kept them amused for hours. We made good use of the BBQ an pizza oven whilst having a drink and enjoying the view. I recommend hiring a boat from the beach an take a trip up the coast, we found lovely beaches and beautiful blue water for snorkelling. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant that Trish works in. We will be looking to return next year I have never before stayed in a place so well equipped with every thing you need for a fantastic holiday thank you x

A lovely spacious property set up on a hill that looks down towards Skala, with excellent facilities and views.
Perfect for families or groups of friends to have a bit of privacy and with the liveliness of Skala easily accessible
The end of Skala beach is 500m walk down a steep hill and then the main road in Skala is a further 1.5km along the beach road so a car would be advisable. There are restaurants and a supermarket along the beach before you get to Skala.

Brilliant family holiday
By Mandy St Albans on 29-Aug-2013
The villa is perfect for a family gathering. There were 11 of us, 3 generations ranging from over 60 down to five. Everyone had a wonderful week. It was lovely just lazing by the good sized well maintained infinity pool and gazing out at the amazing view. The villa is very peaceful and private with a large garden and colourful shrubs in bloom when we were there. The villa itself was very spacious and comfortable, large kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and a large living room with lots of sofas. We spent most of the time at pool level where there is a well equipped games room where you can play your own music (which can be heard from the pool area if the door is open), a large outdoor dining table and chairs, a BBQ and even a pizza oven. You need a car to get to the local beach, local restaurants and local supermarket/shops, you can walk but hard going up the hill coming back. 5 minute drive to the centre of Scala. We had clean linen half way through the week and the villa was well maintained by a local English couple who made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. You could spend all week at the villa but we did go to some beautiful beaches, some did a kayak day trip and some even climbed Mount Aenos! The beaches we went to were pebbly, no sand but the water was crystal clear and warm. In terms of very young children the villa floors are tiled and there are two flights of stairs which are marble. Our 5 year old grandson was fine but it would not be easy with very small children or toddlers. Having said that, no holiday is easy with very small children or toddlers! The local supermarkets sell nearly everything but it may help to pack a few essentials for the first day or two e.g. tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs. We ate out at local restaurants and had BBQs, you could even buy ready made kebabs to cook at the 'meat market' in Scala. Everyone had a brilliant week, we would love to go back again. As a final comment we found the booking process and dealing with the owners directly clear and easy, lovely helpful thoughtful people. Sun, skala and sue
By Daisy, South West on 26-Aug-2013
From the time of booking to the holiday itself, nothing was too much trouble for the owners.
We had a problem getting a flight for the Sunday arrival, which Sue immediately helped to rectify. Thank you.
The villa itself is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. In our party there was people age ranged from 8 up to 67 and everything in between - something for everyone.
There were 10 in out party and the villa was so spacious that no one ever felt on top of each other.
The games room was a godsend for the kids, and the iPod player poolside was genius :)
Would definitely recommend hiring a car if you stay here with anyone with mobility problems, or for the fitter guests, the main resort itself is only a short taxi ride or 15 mins walk.
Trish and Phil who look after the villa on a daily basis were brilliant - so helpful, and again, nothing was too much trouble. They almost felt like friends towards the end.
Towels and linen changed twice a week, and the pool cleaned at the same time. Villa was spotless and well cared for.
Dishwasher and washing machine meant home comforts on holiday which was useful with a young family.
Have recommended Villa Medea to all our friends and family, and would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious villa on a truly stunning Greek Island.
