Review of Monache 4 Farmhouse holiday rental with private pool ,gardens near San Gimignano Janelle M Auckland, New Zealand A wonderful rustic retreat Left on Sep 15, 2019 for a stay in Sep 2019 2 people found this review helpful Set in the lovely village of Iano, Podere de Monache was a welcome relief after a few weeks on the road. The apartment we were in was roomy, and quaintly rustic, the beds comfortable and the kitchen equipped enough to allow for self catering. The grounds and pool were lovely and the owners were fantastic. They set produce from their organic farm such as eggs, garlic, onions and potatoes out for guests to help themselves and also gave a welcome gift of olive oil, salt, pasta, bread and baked goods and a jar of their own tomato ragu. Also available to purchase at very reasonable prices was a supply of holiday basics such as water, beer, wine, soft drinks snacks etc. the local restaurant just a minutes walk away was excellent. A great spot to unwind
Tue, Aug 13 – Tue, Aug 27, 2019 HomeAway 5/5 Toller Urlaub! Eine wundervolle Anlage mit unbezahlbarem Blick in die Weite der Toskana. Unsere Wohnung war sauber und gut eingerichtet, die Betten super. Sogar ein Grill ist vorhanden! Handtücher, auch für den Pool (ganz wunderbar mit Liegen und Sitzgruppen...) wurden gestellt. Man konnte hauseigenen Wein, Olivenöl, selbstgemachte Tomatensauce und viele Dinge des tägl. Bedarfs kaufen, oder in den kleinen, feinen Supermarkt gegenüber gehen. Die Vermieterin und ihre Familie waren oft vor Ort, haben nach dem Rechten geschaut und waren immer freundlich und offen für ein Gespräch.
